The Southlake and the Frisco Location do not have buffets. You can only order off of the regular menu. Food is pretty good. They had several types of biryani that was flavored very nicely. Adequate food options and good quality and home cooked flavors and the one the doesn't break the bank. We were here for weekday buffet after new years. It was 7 of us. They do not have tables that fit 7, so you will have to adjust with table of 6 and pulling one chair in. Buffet for adult costs 15$ plus tax and kids above 5 it is 10$ tax. They have good options for both veg and non veg people. They can improve the service by filling the buffet stations without having to ask the person at counter all the time. read more

I entered the restaurant around 6:10pm on a Saturday. I was greeted by a server (I cannot remember his name) upon entering. I told him it was my first time there. The sever sat me at a table in the middle of the restaurant. The other patrons at the restaurant appeared to be of Indian descent--a good sign! The interior decorating was a bit sparse. I have noticed that Indian food restaurants that cater to non-Indians tend to decorate the the restaurant to make it look very elegant. Indian restaurants that cater to Indians, however, forego such interior decorating and just make good food. This restaurant is the latter. The server warned me that this food was spicy. He said it is probably a 6/10 on the spice scale. He directed me to a not-so-spicy option of paneer tikka masala. As I have dietary restrictions, I opted for something "safe." The meal came out in a timely manner. It also came with complementary butter naan. The melted butter was dripping off of it. It appeared to be very fresh I finished the meal after requesting additional naan. The spice level of my dish on an American spice scale was about 4/10. I will definitely return! read more

You have Indian buffets like India 101 which cater to the American palette. Then you have places like mythris which is for Indian people by Indian people. The food here is so authentic, there's no question about it! I have been here twice, both times on weekdays, and the menu was completely different both times. Had a chance to revisit Mythri's and was not disappointed. We made a quick stop for to- go garlic naan on our way to the Botanical garden. Service was fast, the naan was fresh and hot. The 8 year old for whom we got it devoured it without any complaints so there- that means it was very good. Price is reasonable too. The food that tasted really good (and was spicy as expected from such a place) - Gobi Manchurian: one of the best I have tasted. Tender and well cooked with spices - Masala dosa: good portion, well cooked and a nice mix of sambar, chutneys - Biryani: large portions and tasty - Ghee dosa: tasty too - Rava dosa: took 1 hour to arrive. They have to communicate this early enough. 7 of us got our food, the 2 who ordered rava dosas waited for an hour - Mango lassi: was delicious too - MLA Pesarattu: took 1.5 hours to arrive. RIDICULOUS and we were lied to. They didn't have uppuma, never communicated that till 1hour 20 mins into our dinner. Pathetic service despite multiple and frequent reminders. Unbelievably incompetent and lied to us that it was being made and will be ready in 5 mins. After 1 and a half hours of this 5 mins and a lot of angry reminders, the pesarattu came. Unacceptable when 1 person has to keep 9 others waiting and and get his food that late towards the end. I was fed up and upset. May probably return just for the sake of the food quality and taste. This time, will only order things that can come in 5 minutes. And don't believe a word of what their servers say. read more

My go to order here is the veg combo on Uber eats. Comes with appetizer, curry, naan and a dessert(all chef's choices). The curry on the combo is always delicious and their naan is excellent. The desserts are good too! Service can be a hit or miss but I always return for the food! read more

We found this spot on Facebook via the "Dallas Desis" group. The patio area caught our eyes, and we decided, "this is the place to go." We called beforehand to ask if their meats were halal, and they are! For individuals with this dietary restriction, you have one more spot, congrats! On the phone, the individual was very polite, and ended the call with an invitation- which was very nice, and made us want to go even more. Upon arrival, we were seated and given two bottles of water. We sat for about 7 or 8 minutes awaiting our server to get us a menu- not a big deal, we pulled it up on our phone. But, this is something I hope management addresses. Menus should be given immediately after seating. They were apologetic, and we moved on. On to the order itself! (We ordered everything HOT) 1. Gobi Manchurian appetizer... This was without a doubt the best thing we ordered. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the gravy/masala it was tossed in was excellent! 2. Masala Dosa... Another great item! Coconut chutney was awesome, and the masala (potato on the inside) was also very delicious. Unlike many other restaurants that serve dosa, you could taste that the ghee (clarified butter) they used was very fresh, and left a nice nutty afterbite, as opposed to flares. 3. Chicken seekh kabab... We are most disappointed because this was recommended. This was a no go last night. It was VERY bad. The chicken tastes old, some of the pieces were so hard it could break your teeth, and it was just all in all bad. I addressed this to our waiter who apologized, took it back, and was kind enough to remove it from our ticket. Good on you guys- thank you! 4. Mughlahi Chicken... This was the saving grace to the meat items. This dish was awesome! They made it with a South Indian twist for sure, as I could taste the strong bay leaf and sourness. It was different, and a must-try, even if just once. All in all, our experience was good. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff is kind. I docked 1 star only because of the seekh kabab which genuinely ruined our appetite. This restaurant was opened 4 months. It is amazing. The inside was so clean and the staff was great. They seem to do a lot of takeout but it looked like business was booming on a Wednesday night when my Uncle and I went. The food came so quickly and it was delicious! Appetizer Gobi 65 Stiffed Mirchi Bajji Main course Methi Malai mutter Paneer butter masala Dal Makhani Gongura Paneer Biryani with Raita Butter Naans Bullet Naaans Garlic naans Dessert: Double ka Meetha Every item was so distinct, unique in flavor and brought a smile on the face of our guests. The kids loved the Gobi 65 and Paneer Potli (the small packets loaded with paneer burjee) ! Adults loved the lightly battered mirchi bajji and wasn't too overpowering The gongura paneer was a completely new item no one ever tried. Some friends were commenting that "if veggie food is this good, imagine what the non-veg food tastes like"! We made our own jeera rice, and ate it with the Dalakhani that was divine, and above all the bullet naan and methi malai mutter were so well balanced like a marriage in heaven The double ka meetha is a tough one to get right, as it can go over sweet or too mild, Mythris cracked the code on this and made it just perfect. Lately I've been on this Indian food kick. I go around trying different Indian buffet restaurants. We arrived at 11:30am on a Friday for the opening and buffet. Everything was fresh and so flavorful! I love the spice and heat Mythri's has. My favorite dish at any Indian restaurant has been the Goat Curry. This place is amazing! Fresh, hot and spicy! Other dishes were good as well, but Goat Curry was like an icing on the cake. Fresh naan, fresh chicken, fresh dessert. Nothing tasted old. Staff was nice and welcomed us with a smile. Restaurant was clean and organized. Each item on the buffet line was labeled but I wish they also had it in English as well. They had the Indian names of the dishes but there were things that I'd like to know what they are in English. Luckily, I went with an Indian friend to explain and translate a bit. What I don't understand and don't like about all these Indian buffets I've been to is that they all seem to just leave new bottles of water on a table for customers to grab as their beverage. I think this might be a culture thing but I'm not 100% sure. There is no waiter (service) or anything, so I'm not sure why we are tipping at this point. Who cares, I'm there for the food. Mythri's just opened in the last two-three months. There's a plethora of Desi restaurants in DFW (and especially LasColinas/Irving), but this has quickly become a new favorite. We've been to dine-in Mythri's twice in the last couple of months (sorry - I forgot to take pictures last time). Everything has been prepared very quickly, tastes really fresh and is seriously delicious - we had the eggplant (baingain), lamb vindaloo, chettinad chicken, samosa chat, and (not depicted) gulab jamun. At our last visit, we were a little overzealous and got - okra (bhindhi), chili chicken, goat curry, fried fish, samosa chat, chicken vindaloo, and they introduced us to... jalebi... it's a dessert, similar to funnel cake, instead of being topped with powdered sugar, it's dipped in sweet syrup. It's absolutely delicious. Definitely give this place a try if you like Indian food. read more

I recently was at this place on Friday to book the hall for a special event. We discussed menu and everything and were just waiting to get the final price. The manager was not there at that moment so we were willing to wait but the staff who was helping us suggested that we go home and the manager will give us a call at the evening. So I gave my phone number and left. I did not receive the call that evening so I called them back and he said manager was still not there. So I waited the next day, no call. So on Sunday I called them again and found out they had given the venue to someone else. No heads up, no apology- just a complete lack of professionalism. Worse thing is I leave far from there so I called and made sure the venue wasn't booked for the day I needed, after confirming everything I went there. The staff seemed unprepared and unbothered, offering no real solution. It's one thing for a mistake to happen, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. read more

We also had the Hyd Chicken 65 appetizer- it was pretty spicy but had an amazing flavor! The samosas and Aloo Bonda were super. We also were lucky enough to try some desserts offered to us by the owner- Double Ka Meeta (similar to bread pudding) and Gazar Halwa (a sweet carrot-based pudding). This is a new place that I tried for take out based on other's people review even though it only had 7 reviews to date of my review. Ordered the butter chicken which I have been craving. Hit the spot with the heat level that it had my nose a bit runny. When that happens, I know it is a good heat for me. They ran out of the Hyerabadi Dum Biryani but got substituted with chicken biryani, which was good and in abundance to fill the container. Next time, I will try the Hyerabadi Dum Birayni when available. The portion is so great that I will have plenty for the next day's lunch and possibly dinner since I am portioning out my meals to eat enough but not overstuffing. There are so many other items to try but I'll wait on more reviews before I try it. read more

Found this place when searching for Indian food near Walmart. This place is very new, right behind I love Pho restaurant. Their interior is cool, very bright inside. For food, we had butter chicken and kadai lamb with bread. All were really good. We got dessert for free too. It was definitely not too sweet like other Indian desserts, which is why me and my husband really like it. Employees wear mask and since the place is too new, there were only 2 groups in this place.
