Considering my zodiac sign is Cancer, anything that makes me feel at home I am all for it! I ordered The Gnocchi was absolutely mouthwatering. The first bite I took literally lifted up my soul and took me through a journey of magnificent flavours. The chewyness and touch of crunch of the gnocchi to the sweetness of the carrot purée is just genius. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you get this dish. The sausage Breakfast sandwich was my least favourite if I am being honest. It just didn't do it for me unfortunately. The salad also was not it. Wouldn't recommend this dish. Cauliflower soup was perfect. So creamy and delicious. Exactly what I needed on this chilly snowy day. I also love the garnish of cauliflower and croutons on top. Gave that nice touch of texture! Fried Chicken was absolutely delicious. The flavours were definitely on point ! But I have to say I was pretty disappointed that they called it fried chicken because there was absolutely ZERO crunch to it. It was pretty soft. I was expecting some crunchy fried chicken. Didn't give me fried chicken energy whatsoever therefor it lost a couple points in my book. I'm Caribbean so if you say fried chicken, you better give me some FRIED CRUNCHY CHICKEN! Pear Sour was my choice of beverage. Amaretto, Pear Nectar, lemon and a syrup made in house. Perfect refreshing and calming drink! I see a new summer drink arising! For dessert I got their Caramel dessert that comes in a mason jar. Absolutely delicious, it has all the texture you desire. Crunch, Chewy, creamy ahh and the touch of salt is just perfect! And guess what! WE GET TO KEEP THE MASON JAR! The service was absolutely incredible. Love love my server! They also have a store where you can purchase their products which is pretty cool :) Check them out ! Follow Sotastywithnady on instagram for a more visual review.

For a self-proclaimed foodie destination, this place just got crossed off this foodie's list…read more Admittedly we showed up after the lunch rush, but the place had been absolutely ransacked. The server seated us without warning, and when we went to order, each item we requested had run out. No Cuban, no chicken melt, no several other delicious sounding things. She gave us 10 more minutes to look over the menu and come up with a plan B. Truthfully I wanted to jump ship, but couldn't because our drink orders were already in, and I was captain of this gastronomic journey. We'd set sail without proper forecasting! We settled on the baked egg and salmon bowl, neither what we were exactly craving. The baked egg was fairly tasty, a shakshouka-esque experience accompanied by rustic bread for hasty dipping. The salmon bowl was excellent, with delicious dressing, but the salmon portion was oh-so-meager. It made me wonder if the lunch rush had given the kitchen such a beating that they had split my salmon filet in half and served it to me and my neighboring table friend. Check out my photo and tell me if that portion seems right? The lore says Michael Jordan worked his rear off every game because he always told himself there was probably at least one kid in the stands who came there to see THE Michael Jordan. Well this kid in the stands caught Olive et Gourmando taking the night off. There is a risk for peril if you choose this restaurant, especially if you are in Montréal for a limited time!
