I can't express enough how amazing of an experience I had with Britaini at Bombshell K9. If you want a dedicated, kind, honest and down right badass trainer literally look no where else! She gets back to you so fast and she listens to what you need and completely tailors everything so well. I mean also you should see her facility! It's amazing and you can tell she is putting the time and care into it to create an experience and environment that completely benefits the dogs. She worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! She even let me bother her constantly wondering how my dogs were doing. I have kennel mates, born together/stay together. They have kennel mate syndrome with a touch of separation anxiety thrown in there. And she totally took my dogs (who are huge by the way) from hard to walk dogs that gave me massive anxiety to take out (it was our first time with puppies we had no idea what we were doing ) and gave me back easily manageable dogs. Simple things like taking them to the vet is night and day from before. She also takes dogs of all ages! You'd be surprised how many people have a negative attitude towards training "older dogs". Ours aren't old but it was worth mentioning. If we weren't moving away I would have paid for more training sessions. I could not recommend her enough to anyone I talk to about training. My husband and I adopted two rescue dogs about a year ago. I thought that given time I could help them manage their reactive tendencies and anxiety. But I was wrong. Luckily, though an odd chain of events, I connected with Britiny at Bombshell K9. From our first conversation I knew she was the trainer for us. She is professional, caring, tough, understanding...and confident that even dogs who have experienced severe trauma in their lives can become amazing family/community dogs. After only three or four sessions I was able to comfortably walk the dogs through our neighborhood without the fear of seeing another dog and experiencing chaos. They can now sit, lay down, wait, heal and come, all thanks to Britiny's no-nonsense approach. And my dogs are so happy to be working on their skills. Our family fostered to adopt a 2 yo male boxer who came to us with literally no history other than he was used for breeding and dropped off at the pound in Cali. About 2 weeks in, he started resource guarding over myself towards my daughter (11 yo). After researching I reached out to Brittni. She got back to us immediately and got us in within days! She worked around our schedules to ensure we were all involved in the training. She did absolutely amazing not only with him but did phenomenal with our daughter! My 6 year old gsd obsidian went into month long board and train with Brit with behavioral issues with being people shy / aggressive and very poor leash manners. The dog that came home to me is, and I cannot stress this enough so well adjusted. Walking him used to be a stressful task with pulling barking and becoming overly excitable around people and dogs. Now, he walks leisurely, other dogs will bark and react to him while he remains obedient and unbothered. He no longer jumps on people coming into the house and is so much more calm. She and her team inspired a lot of confidence in himself with their methods. Staying / recall was something I always struggled with him and he's doing so much better. In addition, he had some health problems that Brit tended to with such care! I'm very picky about who watches and takes care of him and he has even been back for a couple day boarding while I travel. I was afraid my rescue pup was never going to settle into our family. She had experienced several traumatizing situations in her young life. Although she was exposed to individual and group training programs she continued to be fearful, unsure of herself and reactive to dogs and unfamiliar situations like the Vet. I was desperate. I loved my rescue pup and she loved my 17 year old rescue dog who was close to the end of her life. I started searching for someone to help me. I found Britini @ Bombshell K9 training. I messaged her and within hours she had a plan to address all my concerns. She was no nonsense and confident that my pup could be saved. We opted for a 3 week board and training program. I am happy to report my once anxious pup is relaxed, obedient, confident and happy! Britini offers on-site lessons to address specific issues such as visiting the Vet. I wish I could give fewer stars. I attempted to send my dog to K9 Bombshell for training. After an initial consultation, during which I gave a deposit to reserve my dog's place, I was ghosted for 3 weeks. I then reached out to her, as I had shelled out $1040.00 for the deposit and a service fee for using Square, and asked for a contract and a plan for my dog's training. I was told I would have a contract by the end of the day, after I sent her my goals for my dogs training (which we had previously gone over, and I thought she would have made a note). I got no contract that day. The next day (Thursday) I messaged twice indicating that I was uncomfortable, and ultimately indicating that as I did not have a contract, I would like to cancel my dog's planned board for following Monday. I requested the return of my deposit. It was at this time I was informed that the deposit was non-refundable. She did not tell me that it was non-refundable at the time I gave it to her, nor that I would not get a contract from her in a timely fashion. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with this, she stopped returning my messages. Businesses that are legit provide legal contracts in exchange for deposits. They are transparent about fees. She might be a great dog trainer, but her business practices are sketchy. I got ripped off. Take your time and talk to a few trainers to get a sense of what to expect. Get the contract BEFORE you send the deposit. A legit trainer will send you a contract immediately, and will remain in contact with you. If you cannot trust the trainer with your money, how can you trust them with your dog? read more
