I don't typically leave reviews but I was very disappointed with my experience with bombshellz, particularly Philip. I paid for a two hour service and only 1.15 hours was spent on the procedure . I was scheduled to have a SMP procedure done on some scarring on my head . I showed up on time to my appointment. Unfortunately Philip was not ready and we didn't even end up starting until over 30 minutes later. I didn't think it was a big deal because I figured he would just make up the time and take care of me. Not only did he not make up the time but he proceeded to quit 15 minutes early. Furthermore, the time that he did spend on the procedure was extremely sparse and was not what was agreed upon.Most of his time spent was chatting and second-guessing himself. When I asked about the second appointment and told him that I was not satisfied with the time taken on my procedure he got extremely defensive and would not own the fact that he did not manage his time very well or finish the procedure properly.I was very disappointed in the money that I spent on the SMP procedure here and would not recommend bombshells for any business. read more

I had an appointment for Micro-needling. Although Melissa was VERY sweet, I was NOT expecting her to just swipe the machine across my face. No needles were felt during my procedure AT ALL and afterwords I took a closer look in my microscopic mirror and NONE of the needles penetrated my skin!!! After reading other reviews, I'm not the only client that feels this way. I asked her to be more aggressive and she said she couldn't. She said that there are 2 types, medical and cosmetic, I've had this procedure done for years in salon settings, NOT a doctor's office, many many times. Such a great experience all around. As a bit of context, I had been researching and putting off SMP for a little over a year. I was nervous about the procedure, the possibility that I would have to shave my head, the expense, what the recovery would be like, etc. Finding Phillip at Bombshellz was the absolute best thing that happened to my SMP journey. His communication and responsiveness during my investigation process was exactly what I needed to put my mind at ease. Reaching out to other clinics prior had just added to my anxiety. Even though Bombshellz was over an hour away from my house, the experience was well worth the drive! On the day of SMP, Phillip sat me down and again explained the entire process one on one. The procedure itself was painless. Cleanliness was spot on. The explanation of the recovery process and expectations was very clear. I have nothing but praise. Yolanda did my eyelashes about three years ago (2018), when I purchased a package deal. I had a credit left over that I never used. Office always clean. Sanitary. Yolanda is always very professional, does excellent work and is truthful. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I decided to get my eyeliner re tattooed and brows too. Immediately she mentioned the credit I had left. She rightly cautioned my with being in blood thinners. We decided in lashes. Then I changed my mind to lift and tint. She never balked. She easily could not have reminded me of a credit that is 3 years old. I'm amazed and pleased. There are honest business owners and she's one. read more

I came here for my first set of eyelash extensions and i picked here because it was close to campus and i had bought a groupon. Its in the middle of a building which was confusing as hell, Yolanda didnt even ask how i wanted my set or what length/type of eyelashes i wanted.. she just placed the lashes however she wanted... Also, she placed eyelashes on the skin??? Not onto my individual eyelashes... she seems like an amateur to me... the lashes came off after a week, and i took good care of them haha. While in Phoenix had Phil do the Micro Pigmentation procedure on my bald spot. Looks filled in now! I've been to Bosley twice and it was a expensive procedure that did not work. Micro Pigmentation is the way to go... looks like hair folicles... and then have Phil do some micro blading to finish up! Great Look! read more

I was going to use Yolanda to be my makeup artist for my wedding but things didn't go as planned. Initially I contacted her several times to book her for a trial appointment and when I did she let me know she already had another wedding that day. She then asked me how many girls needed makeup done so I explained I had 7 bridesmaids and myself, she immediately became available and told me she would cancel with the other bride because I had more people in my wedding and wanted my business. I thought that was odd but I went ahead and booked her for the trial run. Trial went okay but I really didn't like how she did the airbrush makeup and she made my eyebrows look huge and unnatural. Then just a few weeks before the wedding I still hadn't received a price quote on what everyone would cost for myself and all of my bridesmaids. For 3-4 straight days I reached out by text and a few calls with voicemails to get a price quote so I could fit it in my budget. Finally by the 6th day I just texted "?" and she FINALLY responded. She explained she had just moved and I needed to give her time and be patient. I was livid and stressed out! If anyone has planned a wedding before should know how stressful it is. At this time I had TWO weeks before my wedding to find a makeup artist! I struggled terribly to find one and was in desperate need. I had to post on FB and reach out to coworkers for recommendations. Thankfully I found an amazing artist who put me at ease. Of course I fired Yolanda. Please no one ever go to her.. she will give you a heart attack. read more

Yolanda is amazing! Very professional and easy to talk to. It was my first time getting lash extensions and she told me I would love them, and she was right! Since I've gotten them, I feel great. I was having trouble doing this through the website, so I sent a message to have the business owner contact me, there were very few dates available. I never received a response. She is the best! Very friendly and professional. I never liked having eyelash extensions because I felt it is too much work to try to make it last longer and do the daily care so purchasing it on groupon was completely spontaneous but now I'm glad I did! it's my first time actually like to have them I will keep coming back for refills! look so beautiful and it lasts way longer than others. read more

Yolanda was my eyebrow lady for quite sometime, I have yet to go to her new location in Scottsdale but I can tell you she is the best at whatever she does. Said I had to continue to come bk and she would add more. Which didn't make since.. Last appt I left because she booked a wedding party during my scheduled appt. She was always in a hurry..
