I was at Marin General on a Monday to pickup some x-rays…read more I found parking right away, and it was near the lobby. I saw that the entrance doors open outward, which seemed to be a problem for some people. The reception gave me directions, and I found Radiology quickly. X-Ray staff were super friendly and helpful. Very nice waiting area, plenty of seating. Overall, I much improved experience at Marin General @ 250 Bon Air Rd.

When I questioned the front desk girl (who looked about 12 years old) she finally told me she would ask a nurse why I was there so long. The waiting room filled up three whole times and completely emptied out. Three times! I was the only one there still after three full rooms of people came and went. So, I asked the young kid at the desk again, after she promised she would ask a nurse as to what the incredibly long wait was about. A man came out of the back room and began berating me for asking about the times. Yelling with his arms swinging around, totally unprofessional and talking down to me with some B.S. street talk, like I was On the corner trying to buy a stolen watch or something. I just had to leave. No respectable human would sit there after that idiot came out and yelled at you. I still haven't had my eye treated, I just left there and I'll have to go in the morning elsewhere. I will be calling those ignorant whack jobs supervisors tomorrow. I'm not a complainer and I kept my cool the whole time, even when I left. Do yourselves a favor and never step foot in this bucket of crap. This place should really hire folks who have an I.Q. higher than the common house fly. The staff were cursing and the gals at the desk just sat and flirted with the security guys all day. I can't believe this place is a hospital and even exist. Someone should get this behavior on film and definitely document how they treat patients. Don't go there for any reason! You've been warned- swim at your own risk in that filth. If you do go there , you will be worse off when you leave than before. I've never seen a medical facility with such low reviews on Google and yelp. How is this place even in operation? The The folks that run the front should be fired immediately and the doctors should be ashamed of themselves for having such low life's represent them. Also, I'm curious why the "Community R" on yelp here who is responding and representing the hospital, only replies to the good 5 star reviews. All of the poor reviews on here, which are way more than good ones, they aren't responding to. I dare you- respond to my review, but I know you won't. Because you're guilty of neglect at this facility and you have absolutely no defense. Guilty folks always hide.

When it was finally time to prepare, the person assigned to insert my IV struggled to do it correctly, and a manager had to step in to complete the procedure -- which did not inspire confidence at such a critical moment. Before surgery, I was taken to the bathroom, but when I came out, no staff member was there. I was left standing alone, cold, and unclothed in a hallway until someone happened to walk by and escorted me to surgery. This lack of attention and basic care made an already stressful situation much worse. I hope the center takes this feedback seriously and works to ensure that future patients receive more attentive, compassionate, and organized care.

I have had the most professional and attentive care from the nurses who were with me during surgery and recovery. When I complained of pain and some nausea, my symptoms were immediately treated with pain medication and nausea medication. The nurse was extremely sympathetic and worked hard to make sure I was comfortable. The facility itself is spotless and looks very new. I have had 2 procedures here by Dr. Robert Aycock and he is an amazing surgeon! My sister has also had a laser procedure at this facility and had a great experience. She was very impressed with the staff from the warm greeting she received from the front desk to the kind and caring recovery room nurse. She told me she felt very safe and knew she was taken care of by people that are very good at what they do! I highly recommend Greenbrae Surgery Center.

I wondered why Pro Athletes and non Pro like Michael Jackson and Lance Armstrong were using HBOT to recover from injury and fatigue. I asked my GP to provide a 5-session trial protocol with HR of M to see if I could see any improvement. After 3 treatments, I began to feel my extremities, my mind clearing and a positive outlook on my long-term situation. I realized that HR of M is not a hospital facility (much less expensive though) but is run as if as it was one with all the safety procedures and best equipment (watch out for the unlicensed and then the fake "bag" providers without pressure!). It is important to know that they use 100% pure oxygen, while others use "compressed" oxygen with possible contaminants. The staff is outstanding! They even have their own Medical staff to professionally manage your progress (most Physicians are unfamiliar with HBOT, so they don't recommend it or know how to follow-up). They actually train nurses to help physicians understand the wound healing properties of HBOT. Their care, instruction and follow-up assured me that I was receiving the best care possible. They put me through a patented procedure called "Cutting Edge?" that recorded irregular brain eye focus and they could track improvement for my GP, Specialists and myself. Insurance pays for many disease states, others may be paid if you can track improvement with "Cutting Edge?" or other proof sources. If your life is worth it, pay out of pocket, if you have to. They have a plan for those that can't afford it (especially children) called H.O.P.E. for Healing Foundation. They treat brain injury/accident victims and other disease states based on ability to pay (treated over 1,000). This is a great place to be treated!
