I love Bon Bon's! They have my very favorite drink, a strawberry refresher with macadamia milk & popping strawberry boba. I crave that drink all the time. My fiancé loves trying out new drinks and he is especially fond of the caramel macchiato with an extra shot. When we've needed a breakfast food, their bagels always come through. This has been my morning spot since I've moved back to Fort Wayne. They're open bright and early 6am during the week days. And 7am on Sundays. The vibe inside is so cozy, plenty of seating with board games tucked in the corner. I run into other morning regulars either every day, or every so often. Today Orpheus and Tia helped me out and were quick with my order. Making chit chat while waiting. They have yummy breakfast sandwiches and pastries. A fair experience. The atmosphere / upkeep could definitely use some TLC...some things are nice, some are quiiiite dingy. Service was okay not anything to complain about nor praise. Although just me but I was left a little wanting with my London Fog. Flat and bitter. This coffee shop is decorated HEAD to TOE for Christmas, reminiscent of your quirky great-aunt's house who loves the clearance section at T.J. Maxx. I had fun looking around at the decorations while I worked on my laptop for a few hours. There are a TON of fun drinks you can order as well as a small selection of baked goods. But since I'm always watching my sugar levels, I kept it boring and ordered the most sugar-free concoction I could come up with that wasn't just plain coffee. Honestly, I probably ordered the three worst things on the menu - an odd, Frankenstein creation of my own making (iced coffee with sugar free raspberry and peppermint flavoring and a dash of skim milk - not that good and overpriced), a cinnamon raisin bagel clearly not from a local bakery that didn't have nearly enough raisins, and a small bag of overpriced puppy chow where the chex was stale. Since I didn't end up keeping with my diet yet again after buying the drink and the bagel, I should have just gone all out and gotten one of their mega-caloric seasonal drinks and a slice of whatever today's fruitcake was. Oh well. Hindsight is 20/20. Overall, I'm glad I was able to check out this very popular joint and support local. I would recommend that they put some low calorie/sugar creations as options on their menu and also have fresher puppy chow for sale. read more

What a neat spot. I made a random stop one day ... I was thinking of getting coffee , even in this summer heat. This coffee shop is very quaint. It's a nice spot to sit and relax and work. I tried the watermelon refresher. It was a cool drink on a hot day. It hit the spot. The service here was great. The 2 young baristas were cordial and very accommodating to any questions I had. This place is a perfect neighborhood coffee haunt. It's not large, but it feels big and roomy on the inside . There is ample seating and just a warm welcoming vibe. I didn't try any food offerings, but I will on my next visit. read more

My husband and I got a latter and the Campfire coffee-both were great. Sadly no oat milk for substitutions. Classic American sugar driven coffee spot, lots of menu options with some original ideas like the Ghost Pumpkin! Very tasty but swimming in diabetus - odd considering I even went for macadamia milk instead of the cow's milk which would have added even more sugar. My other buddies went for lesser sweet stuff and seemed to enjoy it more. While in the Fort Wayne area I could not resist finding a local coffee shop so I stumbled upon Bon Bon's. After looking over the menu I opted for the Salty American but asked for the staff to not much as much syrup as the typically would. It was delicious. The sweetness was perfect and the little bit of cream made it great. There are also some other really lovely options on the menu that I thought of trying. I was happy with the wide variety of options that were on the menu and there are vegan options too. The staff and environment was relaxing and friendly too. This would be a great spot to get some work or studying down. If you're in the Fort Wayne area you should stop by this shop and give them some love and support. read more

But seems as though management only schedules one person in the morning and they don't show up till 7 leaving that one person to make all the drinks for instore and online which is a lot. Wait times are long. Customers are nice about it but Bon Bons needs to do better. read more

The Alaskan Zebra shake has been my favorite treat since high school. I go out of my way to make a stop here when I'm in town because no other coffee shops seem to make anything that tastes close. Stopped in for the first time ever this morning and I am BLOWN AWAY! Coming from a former Store Manager of Starbucks, this place blows any other coffee shop out the water! They have an extensive menu with syrups you can't find anywhere else- coconut being my absolute favorite! You can even bring your friends who don't like coffee here to try the shakes, refreshers, or Red Bull's! Quiet and friendly atmosphere, the only downfall is that I couldn't find a public Wi-Fi to work on my computer but Xfinity is an option if you have that. Overall 10/10 coffee shop! read more

I got a carmel iced latte and it was really delicious! Better than starbucks in my opinion. The only issue is that the service was pretty slow. I stood there for about 5 minutes while the barista prepared other orders, then another 5 minutes preparing an online order for someone that walked in. I would've appreciated if they just took my order so I could go sit down. They have free wifi that works pretty well so I worked here for a few hours. I ended up opting for the Hawaiian Fog. It had a great flavor and kept me warm as I did some work on my computer. It was something a little different for me and I am glad I tried it. To go with my drink, I ordered a cranberry apple muffin. They heated it up but I guess it was so cold that day that when they gave it to me it just felt room temperature. I didn't mind though because I had the warm drink. The muffin itself was good! I like that I can come here and get some work done. They have free WiFi and I didn't have to awkwardly come up to the counter and ask for a WiFi password. Being a social awkward person, I dislike having to go up to the counter at coffee shops to ask for the WiFi password. Points to Bon Bon's for helping out socially awkward people! If you haven't been here you need to. My go to coffee shop when in the Fort Wayne area! I love this place. I have always been a sucker for small coffee shops. They used to be on the other side of the street right next to the Krogers. I have been a customer here since high school and if I remember correctly it used to be Higher Grounds Coffee. We used to come here and work on group projects all the time. I love that they still kept a lot of the drinks when they switched the name because my favorite have always been the Shoaff Shake. A friend in high school introduced me to it and he would add raspberry flavoring to the drink. Once I tried his I was hooked. The shake is made with espresso and real chocolate sauce but if you like raspberry I would recommend trying with it as well. Another favorite is the Alaskan Zebra which consist of dark chocolate and white chocolate powder. On a cold day I would go for the white mocha. The staff here are friendly and extremely helpful if you have a hard time figuring out what to order. They also have a second location on campus at IPFW. It made those cold days walking to class not so bad after having a hot coffee in hand. read more

Amazing! Saw five out of five stars on Yelp and decided to stop by. So glad we did! When entering I wasn't even certain what I wanted. Looked at the menu and was surprised to see some interesting items that seem to be a little more unique than what your typical coffee shop might do. After staring at the menu board for quite a bit of time, I finally settled on an Alaskan Zebra shake which is half dark chocolate half white chocolate. I was not disappointed at all! My wife opted for the real caramel frappe. That was a true winner too!!! Next time I will probably try some of the coffees or even venture toward some of the unique tea offerings, as some are even served with vanilla and steamed milk.
