    Greek avocado toast
    Jessica B.

Who knew they were here!? What a hidden find of fresh flavorful eats. They offer, salads, wraps, bowls and smoothies. Everything is made fresh to order and they are flexible with your dietary needs. Everything looked so good! Today I had the side house salad. Yum! Turkey bacon (or reg bacon), feta cheese, cranberries, red peppers on a mix of spinach and lettuce. This salad has hints of sweet, savory and salty. I opted for the zesty orange vinaigrette dressing...so good. The citrus compliments the cranberry, turkey bacon, feta perfectly. I also tried the avocado toast: Greek. There are several kinds offered here but I've never had a Greek avocado toast option so I jumped in. The Greek includes avocado, feta, black olives, tomato, and spinach and a Greek dressing. I mistakenly poured the dressing on the toast and let it sit. It made my toast soggy so make sure you eat it right away unlike me! I can't wait to come back to try the other avocado toast flavors!

Location is easy to find, connected to the Optimum Performance Sports (OPS) / Fort Wayne Orthopedics Facility. The owner was extremely friendly and took her time to explain the menu, which has many healthy options. The Greek salad was a bit too sweet for my taste, but authentic and fresh. The egg bowl was delicious, but the flavors blended together. The lemon chicken soup was amazing. The interior feels cozy and homey! I would love to try other menu items sometime.

Apple Feta Bacon salad with added chicken protein. Green Tea & Mango bevvy.

It's good, the service is speedy so that's a plus, they'll make food anyway you like, a bit pricey for tacos.

I opted for the jack BBQ burger and fries. And we split spring rolls. The spring roll was fresh and huge. Sauce was amazing. The spring roll was so big I was full and only ate half my jack bbq burger. The lack bbq burger was also a generous portion. The bbq jack fruit was really good with homemade bbq sauce and cole slaw. Also the fries were a basket and hot and good too! Generous portions and had to take some home. There is nothing wrong with this lunch. It is reasonably priced. Generous portions, fresh veggies and super good. I did not miss meat. I'd eat here once a week of if I lived close. It's small but has about 10 tables to eat in. The service was very good and attentive. She was sweet. Good find it just happens to be vegan.

The pho was good with beef and vegan shrimp but I wished they had more veggies which I'm use to at other pho places that offer veggie pho. The udon noodles was thinner than expected but the soft texture was nice and tasted good. The asparagus steak was hearty and filling which also came with rice. The chili cheese fries were awesome and very good, the Golden soup had a multiple blend of goodness with all the ingredients made it hearty and delicious. It was hard to decide what to order, but definitely a good reason to come back and try again.

I was totally surprised by this totally unwarranted addition to the bill. Some restaurants have adapted and additional surcharge due to the service fee added by credit card companies. It is a surcharge every restaurant has paid for decades every time a credit card is used which the restaurant builds into their prices. Now they are gouging us by adding the surcharge to our bill with no explanation. Even if you pay cash or use a debit card ( which has no additional charge ) they still charge you more. I will not return to this restaurant again. Greed seems to affect some owners. IF they would disclose this BEFORE ordering, it would give you a choice to stay or go somewhere else. Unfortunately this may affect tops in the future even hough the server has nothing to do with this greed. But if the servers don't make tips, the owners may revisit the decision.

She made great recommendations and helped us decide based on our time constraints. She was attentive and gave us a lot of information about the food, live music, DJ and art for sale on all the walls. We weren't super hungry, so we tried the flatbread - sooo good. I will be back because the whole menu, including the drinks, sound wonderful. They offered zero spirit, GL and other substitutions if needed which is nice. The atmosphere has a moody, darker hang out vibe to it. I loved it and can't wait to bring some friends and family back! She recommended reservations on the weekends, especially on "First Fridays" as that's when they do events and an art crawl on Broadway when the weather is nice. We parked on the street in front of the building so I'm not sure if there is a parking lot. They do have outdoor seating as well in the front of the building. I remember when this location was a food co-op waaaaaaay back in the day. They did a great job transforming it into a relaxing bar and restaurant. We will go back and I highly recommend you check it out!

But then you're presented with this shiny chandelier, illuminating this wide chamber, and hovering over a smooth, curved bar. The sides of this huge dining space are lined with dining tables, and walls lined with artwork, making the name quite appropriate. Subtle haloes of light dot the ceiling, and the color palette of the place (besides that big ol' chandelier) is dark, cool, and easy on the eyes. I took a seat at the main bar and was served within minutes. I enjoyed some light pop, rap, and classic rock tunes bumping in the background while I sipped on a delightful Smoked Apple Reserve. Every sip was a punch of sweetness, followed by an air of smokiness, and just a splash of herby aftertaste. It was however, not the kind of drink you could chug, so I sipped slowly throughout my meal. I'll have to come back for the appetizers, as I hear they're the star of the show, but neither the flatbreads nor the traditional bar-fare excited me. Thanks to Yelp though, I learned of the Blueberry and Brie Grilled Cheese, which I'd initially dismissed due to my dislike of Brie - the cheese and her portrayal of Captain Marvel, let's be honest. But I gave it a chance and ~woah~ it was something else. First of all, it's a perfectly cooked grilled cheese, with a flaky, crunchy exterior and addictingly cheesy inside, however I was ~taken aback~ by the flavor. I think I honestly had a Ratatouille moment, where that flavor of berry compote transported me to my childhood, chowing down on blueberry pancakes on Friday morning before school. At the same time, it doesn't dominate the flavor profile - it adds a subtle and satisfying sweetness to the creamy richness of the melted Brie, and it does it oh so well. The plentiful pieces of proscuitto provided some palatable protein, while also being a contrast in flavor and feel to the Berry and Brie. The fries were a little heavy on the straight potato flavor and not so much on seasoning and salt, but some garlic aioli did the trick there. The service was superb and the atmosphere was nothing like I've experienced in this city. I didn't expect to love this place as much as I did, but I can't wait to come back to try more apps, drinks, and return to that beautiful blueberry and brie...
