The receptions are very rude. Maybe it was because they were working on a Saturday. Don't expect to be admitted at your appointment time. Waited here over 2 hours for my mother to get her blood drawn. Not looking forward for the return visit for the results. Can't recommend this place. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The front office is apathetic and rude and you could wait over 2 hours to be called into see a doctor. Not to mention the TV in reception is always blasting an awful daytime program that eliminates the ability to read, think or desperately cling to the quickly unraveling strings of sanity while waiting for hours. The only reason I went was to see my awesome PA who no longer works there. read more

I've always had positive experiences at First Care due to the professionalism of all the office staff and the thoroughness and expertise of both Dr. Russell Chasin and Dr. Stacie Chasin. I have been to the office for various reasons over the past ten years and always felt that both doctors took their time to help me with my healthcare needs. Both doctors also took exceptional care of my mother after she was diagnosed with breast cancer by getting her into multiple specialist appointments in a short period of time in order to be able to get her scheduled quickly for life saving surgery. I consistently recommend this office to all my family and friends. read more

Apparantly everyone else has beaten me to saying it but the receptionists are indeed awful. They are rude and obnoxious to put it mildly. Dr. Stacie is incompetant of even giving basic care. I had a UTI that turned into a kidney infection and she completely ignored it. By the time i got to the next Dr. He said i had to be hospitalized to begin antibiotics. Dr. Stacie is as bad as it gets and as far as i am aware has never worked with anyone but her father and is not even affiliated with a hospital. I wouldnt reccomend them even for colds or check ups..go into Weschester, Rockland or the city but don't trust them for your care. read more

Zero stars. I had made an appt. but had to cancel due to a stomach virus. A couple of months later I walked in because I had an inner ear Infection that was causing vertigo. When I got there the billing person said I owed $25.00 due ti a canceled appt. I am a,senior citizen on a fixed income and explained that I couldn't make the appt. due to a stomach virus. Long story short, they would not let me see the doctor until the missed appt charge was paid. I tried to explain that I didn't have the extra cash, but it didn't matter. I left and went to crystal run-a great experience there. First care of monroe is more interested in money than treating patients. I will never step foot in there again. read more

Just want to say that I visited this facility today and they could not hand been nicer. From the receptionist, to the intake nurse, to Vincent LaSalle, to the woman who took my money, I was treated seriously, thoroughly and courteously. I was told to follow up with my regular physician or I could come back there. I left with a prescription for an antibiotic, a letter to miss work, and a coupon for delays, an expensive cough syrup. The wait was not long either. Perhaps things have changed for the better. read more

I have been trying to get a form signed by a doctor for a while now. I figured I'd go here since I've been using first care for more than 2 decades. Sadly I was put on hold for more than 10 minutes and was told they could fill out the form and my husband could pick it up. When my husband went to get the document they then said they didn't know I was married and that id have to call back to schedule an appointment. Fine. So I called back the next day to schedule an appt and was told i could come in Saturday I but they don't do appointments and i could just walk in. I showed up during the hours that they told me and was now told that I couldn't have the form signed bc they don't do this kind of thing on sat. When I told the receptionist at the desk about my prior conversations with first care she was rude and told me that this was not the conversation that had occurred. Um... If I had not apparently visited first care in 3 years why would I even know what hours to show up on sat if it had not been recommended to me by the staff? Why wouldn't they continue trying to schedule my appt if sat wasn't acceptable? I don't mind honest mistakes but being rude and condescending to customers is unacceptable that's when I lost it. I am now transferring my medical files to another doctor. Very frustrating. read more

I repeat what others have already said - the front office staff is horrid. There are sign-in windows, clearly marked for walk-ins and appointments. But everyone goes through the walk-in window, so you have no idea where you are in the list of who is going next. A 2 hour wait is nothing. Last time I was there, they couldn't get a BP. I told the technician that the cuff didn't feel right, but they kept trying to use it. Then the same tech used a portable unit for BP and still couldn't get it. I WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT DEAD. But they decided that I was problably having a heart attack. I told them it was just a bad cold, maybe a virus. No, I was dying according to the crack staff. So they called the police and the ambulance and shipped me off to the hospital. Emergency room staff asked why I was there - I honestly didn't know, since all I had was a bad cold, maybe a virus. My BP was fine, and always is when the correct equipment is used. I was released with an RX for steroids to reduce the swelling in my nose and throat and chest (bad cold, maybe a virus). There I was, 25 miles from my car, which was back at the First Care office. I admit that Good Sam in Suffern got me home in a taxi that they paid for with a voucher (and a driver who scared the bejesus out of me). What a waste of 7 hours for a bad cold, maybe a virus. I have gone to this place before, primarily when I thought I might have a bladder infection, and never ran into this level of un-care before. A word of warning to you all - do not get sick on any kind of holiday when you can't get your own doc. This place is not the answer. read more

Definitely fed up with these physicians. Needed to be cleared for surgery, never was told by them that they were not going to clear me. I spoke to the secretary & wanted an explanation she was more then understanding however the doctor would not speak to me, never got my results from tests I had taken, to make matters worse I was told not to return. Unfortunately 6 mos. later I had a gall bladder attack I called to see if they would see me, the pain was unbearable, I was denied. I believe caring doctors would never turn a patient away!!!! So u decide if you would want this treatment!!! read more
