Brewminatti is so cute and definitely a must visit if you are in town for a wine weekend with the girls! I ordered a cold brew with cream and a bagel sandwich and it was probably one of the best things I ate the whole time I was in Prosser!

I found the best cup of coffee ever brewed. I love that it tasted like coffee and less like a dessert in a cup. I walked in not knowing which coffee to order and the barista recommended that I ordered their caramel macchiato latte. It was a great recommendation!

Large space with lots of plug ins.

Friendly, funky and airy, with great coffee...how can you go wrong? We stopped here to caffeinate prior to a day of wine tasting. The Americano was sturdy and strong and my sugar-free caramel macchiato was sublime. "Fancy coffee" is a big treat for us and we enjoyed this experience immensely. We will be back tomorrow for Pre-Wine Charge Part Deux!

The music here is absolutely fantastic. A gem in Prosser! Book a ticket or 5, and stop in for good food, great wine, and excellent music. Clearly one of best nights out in the lower valley!!

Cool place. Just had tea, but the food looked good. Historic building. Local artwork for sale. Next time, I plan on having lunch there.

Great show with friends! Full menu would be fun but seeing a great artist in a small venue speaks for itself!

It's intimate, classy and has that perfect local feeling, all wrapped up into one spot. It's located downtown near the YMCA and I believe it's an old Orthodox Church, at least based on what it looks like. For a few hours every week, there's an area open in the front of the building where you can buy "I Heart Yakima" merchandise. In addition, they have art displays there that rotate throughout the year. On the opposite side of the building is the auditorium. It's a beautiful spot that appears to be an old church sanctuary. They're beautiful Stainglass windows flanking the sides as well as a dome top it is absolutely spectacular. The stage is not overly large, but accommodates a band quite nicely. Seating is church pews as well as small tables and chairs upfront. There's main floor seating as well as balcony seating. The balcony stuff is pretty rad, as it gives you a little bit better vantage point and has some sections that have a very old-school theater type feel - Like something you would see out of a movie about Ford's theater, but without the tragedy. The shows that they've got here I've become increasingly great and this year have included some world-class jazz, Bluegrass as well as some up-and-coming artists. While the acoustics here are not perfect, they're solid and the intimate nature of the place makes for a wonderful evening. And because this is Yakima, the folks that come here are super friendly and will often come and mingle with the crowd afterwards. The most expensive tickets that we've seen here were $45 for a band that won a Grammy eight months ago! This is one of the coolest venues that we've had the pleasure of attending shows at and one that we are really excited to continue to support. You guys running it are doing a great job of bringing an eclectic array of art, music and theater into the area and it's absolutely something to check out.

Complete with rays of colored light shining in through the stained glass we showed up early for a dance lesson of Cuban Son--this old style of dance (grandmother to modern salsa) is hard but elegant looking. After the lesson was the show. The venue is pretty dang awesome [solid 4.5 stars on a first visit]. The acoustics were top notch. I made a quick scan of the entire space and there really isn't a bad seat. Their is a huge balcony. There is an open space near the stage for dancing (I clumsily tried my hat with salsa, and we had a few ruedas going as well). They served some refreshments as well as beer and wine when we were there. . . Visiting the "Palm Springs of Washington", sitting in a pew with a bottle of beer tucked into the bible/hymn book holder, listening to traditional Cuban Son, and dancing sexy moves in a former church....it was surely surreal... . . ...And made me a fan of The Seasons. There will be a summer series of Latin music over the summer, and I can't wait to check it out again (although, I think these shows will be outside--first one is July 2nd). Amen.

NOT ENOUGH HELP! FOOD AND DRINK SERVICE IS UNBELIEVABLY FRUSTRATING. One bar ran by one person for drinks. the line was consist so long it was backed up to the tables. ALL NIGHT!! FOOD: To get a hot dog or hamburger, you first stood in the " Roman" line. 1 table , 2 people, for everyone present!! My wait was 20 minutes. Then you move to yet another line to order your food. ONE COOK, ONE SERVER, ONE GRILL!! INSANE. 15 minute wait tin line to order 2 cheeseburgers, then another line for pick up. 31 minutes wait and I finally interupted the Server to ask how long before they got to us and she couldn't find out tickets so she handed me the next cheeseburger and said there ya go. I told her my daughter's order was with mine. She couldn't find the ticket and at this point the grill was bare. I'm beyond frustrated. Now it's an additional 5 minutes to get her burger. It was catered by Emerald of Siam. 2 workers for hundreds of people. Honestly it's been like this for years. Why cant you add another bar and another food spot? Look at the money you're losing and I can tell you my whole table alone all said next time they would eat dinner before going to the concert. I can think of 20 ways to improve that problem, and it is a huge problem. Please work on improving food and drink service. Yiu have plenty of room to add additional stations and help!!

One word: CAVERNOUS!!…read more Yes, this is a space in Sunnyside which opened up a couple months ago, and they have been touting themselves as a venue for live music. For the last couple of weeks this place has brought in a cool salsa band from Portland (Pilon d'Azucar); when I was there they also had a Spanish rock band from Portland open things up. But yes, this space is ginormous! I guess it makes sense, this place used to be a K-Mart back in the day. So when you walk in, if you squint and plug your ears, you can probably remember the Blue-Light Specials. When I was here, they had a place selling tacos & soda, then you walk further in and see the stage to the right. It was cordoned off with gates & hay bales (yes, I said hay bales. We ARE in Sunnyside!). There was quite a bit of security. Well, there were three people from what I could see...that seemed like a lot considering all the empty space in here. So, I guess more people showed up here when I was here compared to the week before (we had a big contingent of salsa addicts from the Tri-Cities exodus on up here). Overall, I liked most of what was here. I mean, you have to give props to anyone for bringing in a salsa band to Eastern Washington. My major complaint: acoustics. Yeah, everything was perfect except for the sound. Maybe they new the acoustics were bad, and tried to blur it out by turning up the speakers to "11". I say this because basically we all needed ear plugs (one of our friends was a lifesaver and went to Wal-Mart to pick up a pack of ear plugs). So yeah, for me I had a hard time finding the beat...either it was because of the loudness or because of dizziness incurred by wearing ear plugs. But from what I could see, the band looked good (they rocked the house at Islands Casino in Kennewick a month ago). Here's to hoping the acoustics can be improved. Because this venue has the potential to be really cool! (C'mon, I'm sure when they announced "Blue Light Specials" back in the day, people had no issue hearing).
