As we were driving back home from our trip to the PNW, we passed through a small town that held Davy's Burger Ranch. We ordered 2 bacon cheddar cheeseburgers and a kids cheeseburger with ketchup plus a bag of French fries. The food did take a little while to be made since there were only 3 employees manning the walk up window and a drive thru. When we did get our food, it was very hot and fresh. We enjoyed our burgers and all agreed that the patty could have used a little more seasoning but they were still good. We'd stop here again the next time we drive through. read more

Great milk shakes! Not been overwhelmed by service: very nice, polite, HOWEVER extremely S-L-O-W even when they aren't slammed. Food is okay. Nice burgers. Steak fingers lean toward tough. Stopped in Prosser on our drive to Oregon. Went out of our way to try out this older classic burger joint. Location, it's nestled in town and the building is older could do with some upgrades but is very clean on the exterior. They do have walk up and drive through. Looks like they used to have a dining room area that has since been closed. We ordered our food while enjoying the music playing outside that seems to play throughout the town. Ordered Tillamook Bacon Cheeseburgers, Tator tots and Strawberry Lemonade. The burgers were ok, the Pattie's need more seasoning and the bacon lacked flavor also the buns were a tad bit dry since the burgers are so large they needed more sauce or Mayo or something but overall ok. The Tator tots were over fried. You can see in the pics. The fry sauce was amazing. The strawberry lemonade was expensive, $7, $8.31 after tax but it was the best part of the visit aside from the friendly staff, they were super nice. There was mold found in one out of three of the burgers, the owners wife was very rude about a refund and was more upset that a refund was requested rather then being more worried about the mold that was just found in the meat, rather then apologizing and giving a refund with no issue she continued to be arrogant. Where do I start?!? This restaurant is easily accessible off the freeway. Approximately 1.5 miles south of I-82.. Make the trip, you'll be glad you did. Let me start by saying you can't find a burger like this anywhere else. This was hands down the tastiest, the juiciest, the biggest and best burger I've ever had. All the vegetables were fresh, the burger Pattie's were piping hot, the buns were perfectly toasted. You couldn't ask for a better burger. The employee staff were super nice, professional and extremely accommodating. The restaurant is a walk up or drive through style restaurant. The indoor dining area was closed I am sure due to covid. The outdoor area were we ate was clean and sanitary. I would highly recommend Davys Burger Ranch if you are looking for an excellent good old fashioned burger. I will give you fair warning that their, "Dave's Burger" is literally the size of a dinner plate. It is massive! Ate lunch here today- had the Big Daves Burger. Large bun, good tomato, mediocre cheese & pickles. Got a stomach ache before even finishing half of it- strange taste to it. Meat is super thin, and does not taste good. Threw the rest of it away. Fries were ok. Maybe the smaller patty's are better? I could only hope. Every time I roll through Prosser I stop at Davy's. The ice cream is super cold and super creamy and super good. My go-to is Black Licorice on a sugar cone. Other flavors I love are Maui Wowi(a tropical sherbet), Lemon Meringue Pie, Beachcomber, and Huckleberry Creamcheese. You really can't go wrong. Customer service has always been exemplary. We drive 35 minutes to eat here on a regular basis. The food is good, fresh and most of all the customer service is always great! The car in front of us had gotten their ice cream, so we pulled up and waited. The car behind us had their order taken already.
