I was admittedly a little scared to get my eyebrows microbladed but Angela answered all of my questions and concerns, which made me feel at ease. She explained the whole process before she even started, and continued to tell me what she was doing during the whole thing. She paints and draws too so I KNOW she has "the eye" for these things. STARTING: First thing was drawing in the actual brows to use as a guide. She was able to draw in my brows following my natural shape as well as adjusting them to my personal preference. Was very patient until I was 100% satisfied and ready to go. She recommended a color for me and then I laid down, put some music on, and she got to work. PAIN: A topical gel was used on me, it felt like little scratches (not unbearable) for the first 5 minutes then I felt nothing. It was SO EASY. She recently told me that she has a new technique where you can't even feel the first scratches in the beginning and you are completely numb from beginning to end, so I'm looking forward to that! CLEANLINESS: Very clean from what I observed. Lots of tools that are sealed and discarded after use. PROCESS: Angie was focused but still talked to me during the process. Couldn't talk that much because I didn't want to move and mess her up! It went very quick though, checked on my brows using a mirror intermittently. She covered my new brows in a dark pigment and it was DARK/SCARY/FUNNY but fortunately that wasn't the end result, just part of the process. AFTERMATH: I HAVE BROWS and they look SO SO good!! She even added little strokes of "hairs" in the inner corners, talk about DETAILS. Holy crap I never thought tattooed brows could look this natural. It have cut my morning routine time as well as given me a nice guide if I want to fill them in. It will fade over a year or two, which is nice. But they stay fab in the shower, pools, in the morning, and before I go to bed, I don't look like an alien anymore. If you're searching for an ARTIST who can level up your brows I highly recommend Angela. Her prices are fair and she goes above and beyond. I'm happy to write an unexpected review for an unexpected service. Let me explain. I took my wife, who is VERY selective for any service of any kind, to an appointment at Bona Fide Beauty with Angela. Being a bored husband I began to watch YouTube videos to pass the time. At some point my wife asked the question if Angela could look at my eyebrows. Why would I need that? Well, I have scar tissue on one eyebrow from a car accident where I went through the windshield in college almost 30 years ago. Since that car accident, hair would not grow on a portion of my eyebrow due to the scar tissue. I never knew there could be a fix for that with some tattooing on my eyebrow. Being a great grandma, I finally got the nerve to try this. I was wary, but I was put right to ease. Angie did an outstanding job. After spending $400 my eyebrows still look horrible and I have to draw them on everyday to fix them. After second session I contacted Angela she said I can pay for another touch up. I would like to start off by saying I LOVE MY EYEBROWS now . I dm angela on Facebook asked for her help. She answered all my questions , she helped me out even though she wasn't sure I was going to go with her . I had a previous job done on my eyebrows. I hated both sessions that I had done I left crying from golden mirror ( don't ever go there) worst service ever worst everything. Karma bit me in the butt I should of went with Angela from the start . But that's what I get but I was so glad I went with her n was able to fix the hot mess I had gotten done . The two hours went flying by talking to her . She freestyle my brows without all the tapes n mess around your face . It was heaven pain free from my part I didn't feel the pain at all compared to the scrapping I felt before . She was half way done when I asked if she had started yet . AMAZED and EXTREMELY SATISFIED is how I feel with the work performed on 01/31/18, by Angela at BONAFIDE BEAUTY SALON.  She microbladed my eyebrows and to my surprise there was NO PAIN, NO SWELLING, NO REDNESS! Her technique and skills are great. The facility is super clean and she uses disposable blades. MOST IMPORTANTLY, SHE TAKES PRIDE in what she does and sees her work as art.  She takes her time with you and listens to your concerns. I must admit,  at the beginning, I was a bit skeptical because I had never done anything like this and knowing that this was a permanent tattoo somewhat concerned me even more. I had also heard awful things about other facilities where the pain level was so untolerable that the customer was unable to complete the process so this didn't help at all. However, I researched Angela's work and noticed that she had great reviews and once I met with her my worries were  gone. I truly RECOMMEND her services. If you are thinking about browtifiying your eyebrows, DON'T BE AFRAID book your appointment, you won't regret it.
