Let's start with calling the practice. As no one here ever answers a phone, you will be treated to the longest recorded message I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. Leaving a message with staff more often than not accomplishes nothing. Trying to get routine forms for schools, summer camps, etc. is also an exercise in futility. A few years ago, after being ignored by both phone and fax, I simply parked myself in the waiting area and told the staff that I would be there until they provided what I needed. That worked, but who should have to do that? The last straw was waiting for three hours to be seen by a doctor. To be clear, we did not have an appointment - and while this wasn't quite an emergency, going to the ER was an option on the table - but we decided to go to the walk-in clinic at 8:00 AM instead. I think three hours is a bit. barring some extraordinary circumstances. It's a shame, but I am making an appointment for my son at another pediatrician's office as I write this.

I found her through my insurance and considering she is the only female obgyn on the island I decided to go with her. I called and there was no answer so I left a message. Later that day when I was out they called me back and left a message for me to call them back. The next day I called them back and again left a message. They called back later that day after I scheduled an appointment with a different doctor. So why 1 star? Well unless you have time to sit around and wait for their phone calls good luck. Also is this really a good doctor? I mean I could be 30 weeks along and what if I had a complication and called them to ask about it? I would have to again wait around for them to call me back, not really comforting.

My insurance has such a high deductible I didn't want to go to a hospital so with that I bit my lip and waited the 3 months asking if there was an earlier opening to call me. They didn't call me so that week I worked extra hours at work so I could go to the appointment which was on a Friday. The day before my appointment her office left a message on my machine saying that Dr. Deleo had a MEETING! (not an emergency) and I would need to make another appointment. I called them back and said that I was in even more pain and hoped I wasn't going to have to wait another 3 months for an appointment. She put me on hold then came back with an appointment 4 months away. I told her I just didn't know what to say to that then said GOOD BYE! Really 4 months away!!! I get that this is her office staff but you'd think she would ask what happened to her almost new patient. No one there could have cared less about my health. I took it as a tell tale sign as the horrors to come and I'm now looking for yet another doctor. If anyone knows of a good one in Portsmouth RI NOT AT LINDEN TREE!!!! Please post it. Dr. Jenn Silva, sees me when Dr. Bond is unavailable. She is just as positive, knowledgeable, and very comfortable to be with. Either of these two ladies is very thorough, knowledgeable, and wanting the best outcome for their patients. I've never had a problem with the attending nurses, or the reception staff. I find if you are kind to them, they are just as kind and helpful in return.

If it were possible to give this place 10+ stars, I certainly would do it in a heart beat. I cannot say enough positive things about this family/general practice. The staff (even the receptionists) are awesome, friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive. In all the years I have been coming here, I hardly ever wait longer than 5 minutes on hold, and I am sure not many people can say that about any kind of outpatient clinic. The medical assistants (Kirsten is the senior Med. Asst. and is amazing) are all just as friendly, helpful, caring, and passionate about their line of work here as the doctors/nurse practitioners are. The office itself and the patient rooms are spotless. That should be a given, but I have seen places like this cleaner than others. I normally see Nurse Practictioner Anne Neuville, and she is across the board excellent. Her bedside manner is not cold at all, she spends time with me answering any questions/concerns I may have about anything, and makes sure my son and I are always taken care of. As of now, it is her and a new doctor, Dr. Thomas Fantes, whom I have had no personal experience with but I have heard great things about. Dr. Scott Keigwin and his wife, Dr. Jane Minuitti used to work here as well, but have moved on to open up their own clinic elsewhere in Tiverton. Fine by me, this place is still amazing, and as I said even the receptionists are friendly, helpful, do not give you attitude at all, and make sure you are well taken care of just like the rest of the staff here. I came to love my doctor, he savedmy life, literally, twice through his knowledge & keen observation. Recently my doctor dropped me, due to several failures on my part to make appointments. I can't offer solid reasons why I missed appointments, in alll cases, but as a single retired man, recently divorced, I found it difficult to make ends meet & at 55 its not easy to get a new job. Yea, its not easy. So during the past couple years yes my job (new) was priority over my appointments . I did call & reschedule, but those were never pleasent conversations. My last appointment my doctor (H.S.) treated me with distain, crudness, and lack of any compassion. Like he didn't know me. Next, I'm dropped as a patient. Yes, I didn't do my blood work, didn't know iI had an outstanding bill at blood work ? They wouldn't do it. Missed my appointment, yes, new job as manager of local small retail shop, couldn't leave, I'm manager/employee, 5 people. The missed appointments are billed & paid by BC/BS medical insurer. Now I can't find a suitable doctor. Who knows anything about my history. I have an injury, caused by prescribed medication (H.S,.) THAT HAS DEBILITATED ME, severe pain, and has moved me to near incapacitation. I have not taken medication for nearly two years for identified maladies, because I have no doctor. A few weeks ago I spoke with another retired friend, with out this being discussed, he told me voluntarly, exactly the same attitue and drop as patient story (H.S.). I, in disbelief, that a doctor would or could have this capability, capacity, compassion-less rude attitude. Does he know what trauma it is to lose a 25 patient/doctor relationship? NO BECAUSE HE HAS THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS, BUT WE PATIENTS HAVE ONE ONE DOCTOR! That I trusted his decisions, his life altering decisions as a doctor, that he was trusted with my life? Obviously he don't care, Aquidneck Medical Associate s don't care, & still have been unable to plead my position with either. It AMA is flushing old patients out for the new, with no reguard for the consequences on the patient. 25 years gone, no reprieve no discussion. I feel this is an a grevious violatiin of a care givers role. I my argument AMA said, and I quote "...missing appointments effects the Dr. schedule and income..." The doctor is paid a missed apointment fee. Yes, it may perdebate his schedule, but he is paid by me, my life survival day to day, trumps his schedule. I cannot give AMA, a good rateing for customer service or compassion, but all the doctors I have delt with, many there, are knowledgable & professionals. Consider this flaw if you think of being a long term patient of AMA. Its not just Dr. (H.S.) you dropped by the whole AMA! The Hippocratic Oath states the doctor is "for the convenience and advantage of PATIENT". Not the doctors schedule or income. The oath is lost & meaningless in this "doctor by digital" era. Dr. Kelley is the most kind and giving man I've ever met…read more 30 years ago, he and his wife sponsored my family from Vietnam. They didn't know who we were, but wanted to help. They saved our lives. Despite having 3 kids of their own, they adopted an orphan from Vietnam. And since sponsoring us, they have sponsored 4 other families from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. I don't know if you all know what a burden it is to sponsor a family. You are physically and finanacially responsible for these people until they can get on their feet. It's easier said than done. Just imaginge a whole family of strangers (who don't speak your language) living with you. They have opened up their hearts and their home for people in need. And for the past 23 years, Dr. Kelley has been traveling to Haiti ( a place in political turmoil) twice a year to work in the local hospital and help with the local orphans. He and his wife will be traveling there next year to also help reform the educational system. What a truly wonderful man! If you live in this area, is there any doubt as to which doctor you should see?

I've had Dr. Kelly as my PCP for a few years now and have always found him to be an incredibly caring individual who also is a really good, practical, doctor. don't expect a lot of bells and whistles when you go to his office, in fact he will probably complain to you about how the "damn computers" are making his life as a doctor a living hell... Do expect to find someone who will listen to you, treat you as an expert in your own care, and work with you to fix whatever is broken. He doesn't automatically reach for the prescription pad, but may just tell you why your mom was right about chicken soup is good for you when you have a cold and the science behind it.... I would strongly recommend that anyone go to see Dr. Kelley, being a good guy goes a long way in being a good doctor... and he's a great guy.

My 100th First to Review!…read more I always find it somewhat awkward reviewing medical professionals... from doctors to dentists, therapists and the like, the unique relationship formed between specialists and their patients seem a strange thing to attach a review to. In any case, the scenario is easier when you have only good things to report. Over the years I have had to switch primary physicians a number of times. Since having left my pediatrician for obvious reasons, insurance changes have forced these necessary adjustments. Fortunately, these exchanges have led me to Dr. Michael Campbell's care. Dr. Campbell is an energetic, knowledgeable, and personable physician practicing Family and Internal Medicine in Fall River, MA. A 2001 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, this physician works out of Millview Medical Associates and is affiliated with several surrounding medical establishments. As a healthcare professional myself, it is sometimes difficult to find a physician who will treat you like a patient. What I mean by that is many physicians expect and assume that you know everything there is to know about certain conditions, lab work findings, and medications. This is not the case with Dr. Campbell. He takes the time to willingly review and explain concepts that though familiar to me, are a nice reminder, refresher, or lesson when it comes to my own life. I can only imagine this service is enhanced for those lacking a medical background. He never appears to be in a rush with appointments and don't let this statement fool you... I usually only have to wait about 15 minutes to be called into an examine room. I always feel as though my statements and concerns are heard thoroughly and options in care carefully weighed between the benefits, risks, and what would work best for me individually. It's nice to feel as though you have a working and collaborative relationship with your physician. If you are looking for a primary care physician and he is available to accept new patients, I highly recommend Dr. Campbell for your overall health needs.

First, he would ignore refill requests sent to him by my pharmacy. That continued for months. That is not the only game that he played with my prescriptions. He said that I could pay the bill "over time", so I started paying him $10 per month. Several months later, he demanded that I pay in full. Bear in mind that this not-so-reasonable demand came after MONTHS of getting jerked around by him and his so-called office, and when confronted about the games, he denies it -- at one point even blaming his wife who also works there, because he's a sideways coward and not a professional. The receptionist is a ghetto-momma covered in home-made tattoos and looking like shes in a 12-step program. The office is old, dark and dirty, the carpet looking like it hasnt been replaced in 30 years. It's not wheelchair-accessable. Avoid these people at all costs. I'm sure that Medicare requires that all patients receive the same level of care, which Valley Primary Care is obviously not providing. I'm sure he has pledged to give all people the same level of care via his medical license, or otherwise. It's either written, or implied. Their bill-collection methods have got to be illegal and are contrary to professional behavior. Little did they know there is something called Yelp where the true story gets out. I have since found a wonderful doctor at Aquidneck Medical Center, who informed me that Dr. Del Guercio had me on the wrong kind of Statin drug, and more. My pharmacy is relieved they don't have to nag my doctor anymore.
