Let's start with calling the practice. As no one here ever answers a phone, you will be treated to the longest recorded message I've ever had the displeasure of listening to. Leaving a message with staff more often than not accomplishes nothing. Trying to get routine forms for schools, summer camps, etc. is also an exercise in futility. A few years ago, after being ignored by both phone and fax, I simply parked myself in the waiting area and told the staff that I would be there until they provided what I needed. That worked, but who should have to do that? The last straw was waiting for three hours to be seen by a doctor. To be clear, we did not have an appointment - and while this wasn't quite an emergency, going to the ER was an option on the table - but we decided to go to the walk-in clinic at 8:00 AM instead. I think three hours is a bit. barring some extraordinary circumstances. It's a shame, but I am making an appointment for my son at another pediatrician's office as I write this.

I found her through my insurance and considering she is the only female obgyn on the island I decided to go with her. I called and there was no answer so I left a message. Later that day when I was out they called me back and left a message for me to call them back. The next day I called them back and again left a message. They called back later that day after I scheduled an appointment with a different doctor. So why 1 star? Well unless you have time to sit around and wait for their phone calls good luck. Also is this really a good doctor? I mean I could be 30 weeks along and what if I had a complication and called them to ask about it? I would have to again wait around for them to call me back, not really comforting.

Dr. Jenn Silva, sees me when Dr. Bond is unavailable. She is just as positive, knowledgeable, and very comfortable to be with. Either of these two ladies is very thorough, knowledgeable, and wanting the best outcome for their patients. I've never had a problem with the attending nurses, or the reception staff. I find if you are kind to them, they are just as kind and helpful in return.

I was a patient here for a little over a year and I have to tell you I have never been so aggravated, furious and disgusted with a doctor's office in my life! Just to give a couple of examples of my experiences a couple of months ago I went to see Dr. Bond because I was having trouble falling asleep. My appointment was at 8:45 am. I was in the waiting room until 9:30 am. After I got called in and the nurse took my vitals, Dr. Bond did not come into my room until 10:00 am! Second example I went in for my annual physical about a month later. My appointment was at 9:00 am. I was in the waiting room until 9:40 am. After the nurse took my vitals and left, I was in my room waiting and waiting. Around 10:15 am I hear Dr. Bond walk into the room next to me! I was like I am going to be waiting here for at least another 30 minutes. I said to heck with this! I got dressed and walked out of the exam room and up to the front desk and asked for my medical records as I was going to be switching PCP's. The girls who work the front desk are rude, miserable and not pleasant at all. And if you try to call the office to schedule an appointment, re-schedule, etc. getting a person on the phone is a task in itself. The office closes for lunch from 12:00-1:00 so the phones are off. There have been at least 3 or 4 separate occasions that I have tried calling this office at 1:15, 1:30 and still got the closed for lunch message. Absolutely ridiculous that this office practices outrageous over booking just to make a few more bucks at the patient's expense. Like we don't have anything else to do besides wait around for a couple of hours after our scheduled appointment time?!?! This office apparently does not value their patient's time, not to mention their horrible attitude. Oh and one other thing, Dr. Bond misdiagnosed my gallbladder attacks for heartburn. I explained to Dr. Bond that I've had heartburn for years and the pain was nothing like heartburn. But this went ignored and for the next few months I suffered with the attacks until they got so bad I went to the ER and had emergency surgery the next day. My sister in law just went in there last week to get a note from them stating when her physical date was and they made her wait there an hour....for a FREAKIN' NOTE! Sounds like your dream physician doesn't it? If you want a PCP that practices deliberate over booking, horrible customer service and just an overall unprofessional practice then this is the doctor's office for you.

Dr. Kelley is the most kind and giving man I've ever met…read more 30 years ago, he and his wife sponsored my family from Vietnam. They didn't know who we were, but wanted to help. They saved our lives. Despite having 3 kids of their own, they adopted an orphan from Vietnam. And since sponsoring us, they have sponsored 4 other families from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. I don't know if you all know what a burden it is to sponsor a family. You are physically and finanacially responsible for these people until they can get on their feet. It's easier said than done. Just imaginge a whole family of strangers (who don't speak your language) living with you. They have opened up their hearts and their home for people in need. And for the past 23 years, Dr. Kelley has been traveling to Haiti ( a place in political turmoil) twice a year to work in the local hospital and help with the local orphans. He and his wife will be traveling there next year to also help reform the educational system. What a truly wonderful man! If you live in this area, is there any doubt as to which doctor you should see?

It does not surprise me to see what Tu D. wrote about Dr. Kelley, I knew that he went to Haiti twice a year and that he had adopted a child from Vietnam but the sponsorship of families was something I didn't know about, but that really doesn't surprise me.... I've had Dr. Kelly as my PCP for a few years now and have always found him to be an incredibly caring individual who also is a really good, practical, doctor. don't expect a lot of bells and whistles when you go to his office, in fact he will probably complain to you about how the "damn computers" are making his life as a doctor a living hell... Do expect to find someone who will listen to you, treat you as an expert in your own care, and work with you to fix whatever is broken. He doesn't automatically reach for the prescription pad, but may just tell you why your mom was right about chicken soup is good for you when you have a cold and the science behind it.... I would strongly recommend that anyone go to see Dr. Kelley, being a good guy goes a long way in being a good doctor... and he's a great guy.

My 100th First to Review!…read more I always find it somewhat awkward reviewing medical professionals... from doctors to dentists, therapists and the like, the unique relationship formed between specialists and their patients seem a strange thing to attach a review to. In any case, the scenario is easier when you have only good things to report. Over the years I have had to switch primary physicians a number of times. Since having left my pediatrician for obvious reasons, insurance changes have forced these necessary adjustments. Fortunately, these exchanges have led me to Dr. Michael Campbell's care. Dr. Campbell is an energetic, knowledgeable, and personable physician practicing Family and Internal Medicine in Fall River, MA. A 2001 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, this physician works out of Millview Medical Associates and is affiliated with several surrounding medical establishments. As a healthcare professional myself, it is sometimes difficult to find a physician who will treat you like a patient. What I mean by that is many physicians expect and assume that you know everything there is to know about certain conditions, lab work findings, and medications. This is not the case with Dr. Campbell. He takes the time to willingly review and explain concepts that though familiar to me, are a nice reminder, refresher, or lesson when it comes to my own life. I can only imagine this service is enhanced for those lacking a medical background. He never appears to be in a rush with appointments and don't let this statement fool you... I usually only have to wait about 15 minutes to be called into an examine room. I always feel as though my statements and concerns are heard thoroughly and options in care carefully weighed between the benefits, risks, and what would work best for me individually. It's nice to feel as though you have a working and collaborative relationship with your physician. If you are looking for a primary care physician and he is available to accept new patients, I highly recommend Dr. Campbell for your overall health needs.

I can't offer solid reasons why I missed appointments, in alll cases, but as a single retired man, recently divorced, I found it difficult to make ends meet & at 55 its not easy to get a new job. Yea, its not easy. So during the past couple years yes my job (new) was priority over my appointments . I did call & reschedule, but those were never pleasent conversations. My last appointment my doctor (H.S.) treated me with distain, crudness, and lack of any compassion. Like he didn't know me. Next, I'm dropped as a patient. Yes, I didn't do my blood work, didn't know iI had an outstanding bill at blood work ? They wouldn't do it. Missed my appointment, yes, new job as manager of local small retail shop, couldn't leave, I'm manager/employee, 5 people. The missed appointments are billed & paid by BC/BS medical insurer. Now I can't find a suitable doctor. Who knows anything about my history. I have an injury, caused by prescribed medication (H.S,.) THAT HAS DEBILITATED ME, severe pain, and has moved me to near incapacitation. I have not taken medication for nearly two years for identified maladies, because I have no doctor. A few weeks ago I spoke with another retired friend, with out this being discussed, he told me voluntarly, exactly the same attitue and drop as patient story (H.S.). I, in disbelief, that a doctor would or could have this capability, capacity, compassion-less rude attitude. Does he know what trauma it is to lose a 25 patient/doctor relationship? NO BECAUSE HE HAS THOUSANDS OF PATIENTS, BUT WE PATIENTS HAVE ONE ONE DOCTOR! That I trusted his decisions, his life altering decisions as a doctor, that he was trusted with my life? Obviously he don't care, Aquidneck Medical Associate s don't care, & still have been unable to plead my position with either. It AMA is flushing old patients out for the new, with no reguard for the consequences on the patient. 25 years gone, no reprieve no discussion. I feel this is an a grevious violatiin of a care givers role. I my argument AMA said, and I quote "...missing appointments effects the Dr. schedule and income..." The doctor is paid a missed apointment fee. Yes, it may perdebate his schedule, but he is paid by me, my life survival day to day, trumps his schedule. I cannot give AMA, a good rateing for customer service or compassion, but all the doctors I have delt with, many there, are knowledgable & professionals. Consider this flaw if you think of being a long term patient of AMA. Its not just Dr. (H.S.) you dropped by the whole AMA! The Hippocratic Oath states the doctor is "for the convenience and advantage of PATIENT". Not the doctors schedule or income. The oath is lost & meaningless in this "doctor by digital" era. From that appointment until my release date, Dr. Reuter has been fabulous. Not only did he take excellent care of my foot but he also made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed.
