I called Blur bird for an estímate for the repairs. Blue Bird sent out a Mr Underwood, I requested a quote for that repair and an additional estimate for under eave repair. He came me a quote for $900 for the metal piece and $700 for the eave repair. Way too much Blue Sky built into this quote. I got it repaired by another roof for a total of $550. My opinion is get multiple quotes, don't get rippt off

Wow. Just horrible. Where do I even begin. Going in and…read morelooking at carpet was fine. It was the starting of the planning and installing where we started having problems. In the other reviews that stated they were lazy and uncommunicative - I can get behind that. Apparently no one but the original person you interacted with can explain or answer questions on your project. Even through everything is entered into the computer. Or supposed to be. So if your person doesn't work six days a week you're just SOL. And they don't return phone calls. I have a call log to show it. When setting up an install appointment we were supposed to get an email confirmation and set up the computer project notification system. I'm purely guessing. We were never told about this. Fast forward 3 weeks and still no email. The day before the install, because again, no email confirmation, I called. No one could speak with me as they weren't my project person. I was supposed to get a call back. I didn't. About that time we received an email confirmation of the INITIAL set up. A reminder came within minutes of each other. I had to call back at 4:55 so I could at least get somebody to answer anything before close. I was told yes he knew about the install and it was scheduled for Thursday and Friday (remember that - important) and would be at my house at 10 am. Next day 10 rolls around. No one. 10:30 rolls around. No one. I call back to inquire as to why no one showed up and I was informed well, they have an hour window. What? Did you tell anyone? Nope. Dude finally shows up at 10:58 flying though the subdivision. Pretty sure the rocks moved in the driveway. After installation things got even worse. As if they weren't crappy already. There were waves in the carpets the z bar at both bathrooms were crap installed and you could feel the height difference of the pad. And now the worst part. Baseboards. OMG a 5 yr old could have done better. Afternoon complaining and sending pics I was told he couldn't come back the next day bc he had a commercial job to do. Remember when I said I was scheduled for 2 days? But now all of a sudden he has a commercial job? Yeah, we know where your bread and butter is. Not us getting house installs. They found someone else who came out and fixed some corners and a wall. Afterwards we sent a message requesting someone to look over the install as things were not ok. No response. No one ever got back to us. We waited a week. Crickets. We had to physically go to the store to complain. Sad really. I did not sign the work order as I found out later that, that is what usually happens, and I was NOT offered, told, or discussed that a final walkthrough was done. Nope. No one reached out to us. Finally got someone to come out and look. Took pics and said I'll make some phone calls and get back with you. Next point of contact was the owner and some other peeps were coming out to look. Took up carpets and rearranged pad and was supposedly fixing the baseboards. Again. I have pics. It's terrible. And I provided baseboards. Not them. All and all this was a terrible experience. I will not be back. I have the rest of my house to do and I will go elsewhere. I'll drive to TX and pick up the same carpet if I have to, but it won't be from here. Before the owner responds with crap I got a $100 deduction for my troubles. I still have to fix my baseboards so it's no consolation. The pics are after install, after the 1st fix, and then 2nd fix. Trustworthy and communicates well. Miguel kept us updated on the daily processes and progress. We watched the process and let me tell you my deck is more than what I imagined. It is beautiful and relaxing and solid. I have never seen any contractor out here, take the extra steps to make sure a deck did not rot away and was level. Miguel is a little ocd, that's a good thing. The little extras go a long way. We have other projects around our home that we are hiring JD Land Development for. He was responsive to all of our questions and requests, his bid was less than 80% of the other contractors, and finished the job a week early and under budget. We added a bathroom & bedroom to the first floor for my father and could not believe how great the job turned out. His crew/subs were here early or on time, not one mess was left behind every single day, and would personally go over what was completed and asked for input at the end of each week. We were gone one day when the extremely expensive tile we picked out and bought for the bathroom but he sent his tile subcontractor to another job because when he started the tile it didn't look good to him in terms of color and size. He left a voicemail, text and email, all with photos and we were so happy he had stopped the tile from being installed. He also saw how much we paid for the tile and suggested an alternate tile that was more than half the price for both the tile and labor due to the size of the tile. I looked at the review left by another person who had used them for another job and I'm having a hard time believing what she had to say. BTW, Miguel, the partner/contractor only recently completed this work for us has a great reputation for the work he has completed on every job out here in California. We checked with the people he listed as references and even visited with a family he had worked with and got to look at the work completed and got to ask questions about his work. No follow up questions about quality or why they would install something wrong and not attempt to do it right the first time.
