I had a small amount of wind damage; the metal flashing was torn from the facia (7 ft metal strip held in place by 8 nails according to the estimator). I called Blur bird for an estímate for the repairs. Blue Bird sent out a Mr Underwood, I requested a quote for that repair and an additional estimate for under eave repair. He came me a quote for $900 for the metal piece and $700 for the eave repair. Way too much Blue Sky built into this quote. I got it repaired by another roof for a total of $550. Our insurance company surveyed our roof damage and sent us a check for $25.00 to repair the damage. Bluebird stepped in on our behalf and the insurance paid for an entire new roof. $25.00 vs $18,ooo. -Company will knock on your door if you have no soliciting signs and are not very kind when you turn them away. -They will make a circus of their company and bring 5-6 cars all over neighborhoods with 15-20 guys, park on one street typically and place signs all over peoples yards that do not give them permission to do so (they tried that with my house too). -I live in an HOA that does not allow door to door sales but they ignore and still choose to harass people. -The neighborhood app my HOA has makes fun of these people and have called cops to get them out of the neighborhood. Bluebird does not respect individual privacy and WILL HARASS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. -Based on how they go about business, I do NOT recommend. As for reviews, some post good things, others don't. Bluebird replaced our roof and added a ridge vent per our request a few months ago and we could not be happier with their professionalism, service, and the quality of workmanship. They thoroughly explained options, made recommendations, and never tried to pressure us into anything. Bluebird only uses high-quality materials and the right materials for the job. In addition to storm damage, our old roof shingles had cracks all along the ridge because the wrong shingle type was used, which Bluebird pointed out to us with live drone video. Other roofing companies we got estimated from never mentioned a word about this. Bluebird got the job, and they were punctual, very thorough in protecting our property, the entire crew was courteous and considerate, and they cleaned up after themselves as if it were their own home. The drone images of your roof "before" and "after" to verify a job well done with the homeowner were also much appreciated. We had a small hiccup, something that can happen, which was a broken outdoor lantern glass. They notified us immediately and replaced it with the exact glass needed in a very timely manner as if it had never happened! They never tried to cut corners and we trust them 100%. We worked mostly with Kevin and he was fantastic - courteous, punctual, responsive, and a good communicator. I was already a big fan of these guys. I wanted to let them know "thank you again". I had an issue crop up with some terribly torrential rains this past July (2020 right..). Anyway they came back here (it's been almost 2 years since the roof was installed) and they more than took care of business. They insured all was put back better than when it had all started. Make no mistake, Bluebird did do a decent job on replacing our roof. Delays in scheduling did occur as can be expected, and resubmissions to insurance added to delays. The installation itself was great. They complete work quickly and do a great job with cleanup. My rating has to do with the fact that months after the job completion, they are insisting, and threatening litigation, that we owe them money. Thousands of dollars. Our insurance company met their obligations after several resubmissions of added supplements, and paid them all the money due. Bluebird even made refunds directly to us for other parts of the claim, there was interior damage, as well as supplemental work approved by insurance that they did not complete. I don't fully understand the whole roofing/insurance contractual language, but to collect payment, provide refunds, and then claim more money is owed seems pretty unscrupulous to me. Justin and his crews did a fantastic job with the replacement of the roof, siding, gutters and flashing from a storm that we had in May of 2016. He came and met with us and consulted about colors and options and what others had done in the area to enhance the look of their home, which in turn, will increase the property value just because of curb appeal. Huge thank you to BB Roofing for a job done in a timely manner with superlative workmanship and attention to detail. A complete replacement on our 7700 square foot 3 story home in 4 days. Our roof is very steep and high off the ground with a turret whose gutters are over 44' in the air. The crew worked seemingly without breaks and with great care to not cause any collateral damage. Clean up was thorough and speedy. The job was managed carefully at all times and only the best in materials were used. Bluebird Construction did an excellent job installing my roof after it sustained storm damage. My insurance company made the process much more difficult then it needed to be but Bluebird came out each time they sent a different inspector to observe the inspection and exchange information about the damage they found. It took over a month to come to agreement and I believe if I hadn't had someone on the roof with each inspector they wouldn't have settled the claim. Bluebird tore off the existing roof and installed the new one in two days and cleaned up quickly. Even covering and moving my patio furniture to protect it. The installation experience was easy and they even made a change to the flashing next to the front door at my request the next day. Thank you Bluebird. read more
