Cross section of the chocolate cake

I had an excellent interaction what I'm fairly certain was the owner of the store while visiting Chattanooga last weekend. She was welcoming and accommodating and literally went above and beyond for me. The interaction really brought some sunshine to an otherwise difficult weekend (for personal reasons). I got two of the smaller cakes -- one was lemon raspberry and the other was chocolate. I could not pick a favorite if I tried!!! They were moist and light and PERFECT. And the icing!!!! Oh. My. WORD. These cakes are out of this world. Truly. Definitely will be back!

I don't really like cakes since they can be so sweet, but Nothing Bundt Cakes is so good. I got the individual Red Velvet Bundt Cake bundtlet and it was simply amazing. Even though I was in-store for a couple minutes, the staff I talked to were so kind and sweet. Exceptional service, will come back again!

These cakes are great I purchased several flavors as gifts. I got the Red Velvet, Lemon, Confetti and the Carrot cake this time. All of them were fresh, delicious and moist.

Oh my goodness... RUN to try this place! Haha seriously the cakes here are so moist and flavorful! The Bundtlets (small cakes) are great, but the Bundtinis (bite size) are my favorite because they are more moist. The cream cheese frosting has such a rich and creamy taste... it's delicious. I highly recommend getting the Bundtinis because they come by the dozen and that gives you the opportunity to try all of the flavors and determine which ones you like best. My personal favorite is the carrot cake it's sooo yummy.

Loved loved loved this place and this idea of bundts. The name of the place is very clever and the people are so friendly and helpful. Mom and I sampled a dozen different bundts. We loved them all! If I lived anywhere near this place I would definitely frequent it. We tried peanut butter, red velvet, chocolate chocolate chip, strawberry and cream, chocolate raspberry, carrot cake, pecan, and lemon something. Definitely go out of your way to have a bundt!

The wife,…read moreAnna, stated "if you want a good cup of coffee and an excellent pastry, this is your morning stop!" Even a little after 10am on a Saturday, you can tell this place is a very popular hangout. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, but the line moves fast. I concur with other reviewers that the staff is so friendly, helpful and energetic. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait with a shot of caramel syrup. Once I looked at the pastry items, I knew the Blueberry Lavender scone had my name all over it! I sat outside on a sidewalk bistro table and enjoyed both items immensely on a gorgeous Chattanooga morning. This place also has inside seating as well as a nice patio setup. So happy I got to experience this place! (P.S. The line is still out the door when I left!) :)

We didn't know and went straight to outdoor seating, which worked out because we got a table and about a minute later we figured out the ordering process. I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!

So woke up the next morning and no food or breakfast is located in the three or more buildings. You have to walk about a city block away. When you arrive for breakfast your food is delivered in a cardboard box - which was actually gross ! You will NOT wake up to fresh coffee, orange juice or anything in the common area. You will find all areas are locked except for a very cold room with an actual church Pugh bench in the common area. Next I return to the room and the maids were outside. I asked for extra bathroom towels and was told "can only give you more towels in exchange for your dirty towels. I also asked for another blanket to sleep with and the maid states " now I have to goto the other building for that". Later that day I turned on the shower, the shower knob was stuck on all hot, and could not even take a three minute shower. The actual room had a small television in the wall, behind the television was a curtain. I moved the curtain back to find a huge hole on the wall (where and old tv was filled with dust). Tony's pasta restaurant (onsite) was a sodium filled nightmare. Tried the pasta- over cooked , the meatballs were unetiable. It was getting late and I was also tired of walking around the city, so I wanted to find a place that I could drive to easily that would have accessible, free parking, and that was still open -- many bakecafes had already closed. A quick Yelp search revealed this place as a great option! I scooted on over and walked inside. Very friendly staff members, super welcoming. The place was clean and smelled AMAZING! No real seating inside but that's okay. They have a cooling drawer and a room temp drawer depending on the need of the pie. I'd say mostly dessert pies are available but they also have a nice selection of quiches and pot pies. Flavors/varieties rotate depending on the day. They'd sold out of a few varieties when I arrived, but I was still able to get plenty of yumminess. They have a deal for four pies at a reduced cost so that's what I got! All pies are individual though you can preorder larger pies if you need one. Since I had the ~2 hour drive back home, I of course had to opt for non-refrigerated options. I wound up with a lemon blueberry chess pie, a chocolate bourbon pecan pie, a regular pecan pie, and a chocolate chess pie. Seriously, they were all delicious! Somewhat surprisingly, I'd say my favorite was the regular pecan pie. Don't get me wrong, pecan pie is a beloved pie of mine...just thought it would go to something with chocolate. But the amount of sweetness, the ratio of gooey inside to nutty outside...just so good! Each pie had a delightfully buttery, flaky crust. You really can tell the difference -- they're the real deal. Hubs and I split a mini pie each night for four nights and the quality really didn't suffer! I'd say they're the perfect size to split, though I'm sure I also could've devoured a whole one if left unattended, lol. Would love to try more flavors in the future. If you're in the area, give them a visit!

Our first visit was near their closing time, so there were not many items left. We did find a few we wanted to try. Our next visit was earlier in the day and the selection was significantly greater. I cannot identify everything we saw or even purchased, but I can tell you everything was quite good. The filled items had fillings like cheese, fruit, one was even ham and cheese. The others were more like sweet breads and muffins. It was very hard to limit ourselves when making our selections as everything looked so good. Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.
