Freshest fish I bought in a long time. Arlene helped me decide which snapper to choose from their wide variety. She even gave me idea on how to cook it & had it cleaned and cut the way I wanted. I walked away with enough ice to keep the fish fresh until I got back home. Their prices are reasonable and both Arlene and Moises were welcoming. Moises use to be a fisherman himself! I went to this fish market last week and was very happy. They had a great selection: tilapia, mahi mahi, snapper, hog fish, grouper, and lots more. They even had shark! All of their fish, with the exception of the salmon, is fished locally and they fillet the fish for you on the spot. Good prices too. I took home some mahi mahi and fried it at home. It was so fresh and delicious! Much better than what you get at Publix, and you support a local business, which is great! So if you live in Cutler Bay, you should definitely check it out. read more

So happy I found this little hidden gem thanks to all of you! It's just too bad, I've been living down south since 2009 and I just came across this place. Well like the saying goes, better late than never! We walked in and were greeted with great service and place looked clean and fishy. Just like it supposed to be. The owner's son was very attentive even though he had a few customers while we were there. We finally made the hard decision to pick a few snappers (that looked so fresh and beautiful) and some lobster meat & scallops for a nice Paella. They ask you how you want the fish cut and it's free of charge. My Dad loves to fry it so we asked for it to be cleaned only. Now the real test was taking it to my Dad's house for him to check out our buy. To sum it all up, he was in HEAVEN! I forgot to mention we also bought some homemade shrimp ceviche which was amazing!!! My Dad also approved Well back to my Dad, he loves fish and knows a good fresh fish when he sees one. He immediately cut it up into chunks, put the oil to heat up and to make a long story short, it was sooooo darn good we ended up eating Sunday's fish dinner on Saturday night so I'll be heading back today to buy a few more. The market is very clean and the employees always wear gloves while helping pick/handle your fish. Unfortunately I bought 7 so called fresh lobster tail, had to throw one away because after cooking it and cutting tail off the meat was black and disgusting to taste. All the tails had to be at least a year old, freezer burned and for $24 per lb it was definitely not worth it. Don't ever buy from here. As an update, the owner called me to apologize and assure that this has never happened before. He was very pleasant to talk to and said he would speak to the distributor and get some answers.
