    Shrimp "Bow" Buns
    Paul J.

Golden Rule has a large Chickee Hut surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping. There's a fish market inside and you're able to order those fresh catches on the menu as well. My blackened grouper sandwich was delicious, but the portion seemed a bit undersized. The same could be said for the "bow" buns--great flavoring, but I was surprised there was only one shrimp per bun, and the order only came with a pair overall. My girlfriend also enjoyed her lobster bisque and side salad. They also had a nice list of craft beers to choose from & we'll certainly be back again, hopefully for some live music too.

The standard. Been there forever. Fresh seafood in P-rine. It IS the place. Indoor, outdoor, great scenery, clean and fast service. A very complete menu, ice cold Red Stripes. Put this one on the list, kinda a locals joint, and that's okay cause i am one !

Very down to earth ambiance, tables and bar are under a large Tiki Hut and there's live entertainment on the weekends. Great spot for simple seafood, although they do offer other options. Service can be slow if it's very busy, but servers are friendly and attentive.

For my birthday I went to lunch with my family at Golden Rule. It is one of my favorite places for lunch! It never disappoints! We ordered a pitcher of beer and then our entrees deciding to skip an appetizer this time. I always order the Caribbean Fried Conch, and my boyfriend decided to try something new and ordered the Shrimp and Oyster PoBoy. The Fried Conch is so fresh and when the lemon is added it is perfect. It's always cooked perfectly and not excessively chewy. It is my go to entree, every now and then I try to mix it up a bit though. But not today! My boyfriend really enjoyed his Shrimp and Oyster PoBoy he said it was delicious! Everything was fresh and it was not greasy which was great! It was a big meal as well! We will definitely keep coming back to Golden Rule! It's a great spot for lunch with the family! The ambiance is very relaxing, sitting under the tiki hut with all of the greenery provided from the plants. Overall, the service was great and the food was delicious as always!

I love Golden Rule. It's a nice place to sit down have a drink and some good food. Last week for the first time we decided to order take out and not eat in the restaurant and it really disappointed. The bang bang shrimp dish was sloppily put together and the portion for the price was not worth it. The fish and fries were ok. The Greek salad again seemed sloppy and just thrown together with no care. It was a normal salad but swimming in dressing. The taste was just ok on all dishes. Honestly it was not worth what we paid.

Visited Golden Rule on a Saturday evening and waited about 15 minutes for a table outside. They had such a good atmosphere going on with the live band that it was worth the wait to sit outside instead of inside. I ordered the shrimp and grits as my entree. It was so delicious. The sauce with the bacon went well with the shrimp. I also ordered a mojito that went perfectly with the vibes of the restaurant. Really looking forward to visiting again. I'd probably order the same thing it was that good!

Came here with the fam on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy! We sat outside and it was nice and cool with the fans. Our server was Don and he was so attentive and friendly. To start we ordered raw oysters and the blackened seared tuna. The oysters (even the small ones) were HUGE! Idk where they source them from but omg they were massive -- yum! The seared tuna was also delicious. The seasoning was just top notch it had great flavor. As my meal I ordered the Greek salad with blackened salmon on top. The portion was great and the salmon was delicious, a nice big fillet. My parents are big fans of the mahi Reuben and they said it was delish as always. My sister ordered the Cajun shrimp and grits. She loved it and I tried it and i agree it was fantastic. It's a heavy meal don't get me wrong but the flavors are delicious. Everything rocked here I can't wait to come back, great seafood spot!

Love the vibe! Outdoor seating under a tiki hut with beautiful plants and a koi pond surrounding. Service was a little slow but was very friendly and informative. The lobster bisque was great! I loved the Drunken Debbie salad, full of flavor and the Champaign vinaigrette was light and flavorful. My bf's grouper sandwich was delicious and fresh. The "bow" buns were good but small on the shrimp portion. I will definitely return!

Miami staple! First time paying a visit and truly had a memorable experience. The vintage vibes in the market felt nostalgic! The service was great and the owner Courtney was very pleasant. Don't miss out on the cities best crab cakes and by far the best conch fritters in town! Our party got to enjoy the honey glazed salmon, shrimp scampi, shrimp and grits and the Cajun Alfredo with chicken! No dish disappointed! Can't wait to visit again and appreciate that although it's known for seafood they have a variety for the meat eaters!

First time visiting. Almost sat inside where there is also a market with various items. I told the host it was our first time and she said, "In that case follow me." She led us outside where there is a Tiki hut surrounded by different green plants and trees. Place was full with the exception of two tables. Started with 2 Mojitos, one classic and one coconut. Both on point! Our waitress, Kelly, gave us a few suggestions. We chose to order the conch fritters which were the best we've had in a long time. My wife had the Lemon butter snapper with broccoli and sweet potato mash. She said it was very good. I had the Cajun shrimp and grits that I'm definitely going back to have again. Big flavor, small pieces of sausage, just the right portion. Nice size shrimp. Finished with a slice of Guava cheesecake that we had to order. I could eat that everyday and twice on Sunday! Felt like we were in the Keys, excellent service by Kelly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great spot to eat drink and chill. Gives a key west vibe with the bar and outdoor setup. The live music was great heard some Jack Johnson hits while drinking some good brews. Really enjoyed the food as well as my group. My blackened snapper tacos with mango slaw and the brownie skillet for dessert were so damn good. The lemon butter snapper was delicious as well. Service was not bad, it was like a 15min wait for a table on Saturday at 6:30. We just waited at the bar and were seated in like 10 mins. Really cool inside seafood market as well. Highly recommend and will be coming back

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. The food quality was underwhelming for the price. Buffet stations were frequently empty and took a long time to be refilled. The chicken paella was so salty it was nearly inedible, and the fried chicken was dry and lacked flavor. Overall, the food felt more comparable to a basic hotel breakfast buffet than a $65-per-person Mother's Day event. Service was also lacking. Our waiter rarely checked on our table, and we repeatedly had to get up and seek assistance ourselves. Several aspects of the event felt misleading. There was no clear indication during booking that the event would primarily be outdoors. We were seated in one of the elevated booths in the back where the fans provided very little airflow, making it uncomfortable. The advertised "live music" consisted of a single performer who was barely audible from our table. To add to the disappointment, the waterfall walkway was closed, which was one of the features we were most looking forward to enjoying while visiting the property. The only bright spots were the woman working at the front, who was kind and professional, and the employee at the omelet station, who was friendly and attentive. We chose Schnebly's for a special Mother's Day celebration because we had high expectations for both the venue and the experience. Unfortunately, we left feeling that the event did not deliver the quality, service, or value that was advertised. I also reached out directly to management regarding these concerns and, as of the time of this review, have not received a response.

The ambiance is very nice it's a cozy little hole in the wall that you would definitely miss driving by it. Outside patio area had a lot of seating and as well as couches. Everything was great and I am now hooked on a wine thanks to the recommendation by the team here!
