We probably come here at least once a month for dinner and enjoy sitting at the bar. On this particular night, the normal bartender that we have wasn't working behind the bar so we ended up with somebody else. She was polite enough, but didn't really feel like she was engaged with us or wanting to have a conversation. In fact, she didn't even offer us bread with our meal we had to ask for it. My husband got their seasonal special with the ribeye, garlic, mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetable. It looked amazing until he cut into a steak and realized that it was well done. He ordered it medium rare. This is not the first time that this has happened at this location and while they're pretty quick to fire a new one it is frustrating that there's not always consistency. I got the shaved brussels sprout salad with salmon. It's truly one of my go to dishes as it's refreshing and hardy and the salmon is usually cooked really well. I also tried their seasonal watermelon martini and I have to say it is absolutely delicious. Very refreshing and perfect for these hot summer days in Florida. read more

Went to Bonefish Grill for brunch and was pleasantly surprised. I'm not usually a fan of Bonefish Grill based on past experiences, so I honestly wasn't expecting much but this visit completely changed my mind. Our waiter, Christopher, was outstanding. He offered great recommendations, was incredibly accommodating, and didn't hesitate to let my party make whatever modifications we wanted. His hospitality alone made the experience memorable. The food was very good, especially the Shrimp and Grits. The grits were creamy and rich, and the roux was seasoned perfectly. I paired it with a non‑alcoholic beverage that was so refreshing I ended up ordering a second one. I can genuinely say I'm looking forward to my next trip to this Bonefish Grill location. Nice happy hour at the bar. Wish the parking was closer to the entrance as there were 3-4 spots for "to go" orders. Feel one would suffice. The martini flight was great but a little sweet. Liked the spicy one best. The wine choices were limited but very good. Enjoyed an absolute dirty martini and the cauliflower and bang bag shrimp were like full meals. I do feel like they had the same sauce and I think the cauliflower should have been toasted and crispy. We've eaten here many times and it can be hit or miss with the service. The last time was not the best, with our waitress walking away multiple times mid-ordering and never clearing our table. The table behind us was complaining of the same issues. The manager ended up visiting us and he was really wonderful and ensured we were attended to the last half of the evening. For the main dish, the meal comes with ahi tuna, mahi mahi, salmon and shrimp. We ordered the Au Gratin Potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. Blake was very observant and asked if everything was fine with our food as we do not eat Ahi Tuna. He was very nice in letting us choose another piece of fish to substitute. Stopped by the Winter Garden location during their $5 martini + margarita promo on Mondays . Tried three martinis: first two were super sweet, and the other one was a dirty martini which it was strong and definitely for those who like a kick. Also had the bang bang shrimp and it was amazing! Shoutout to Zack, my server super friendly and accommodating. Only downside: the smell when I walked in. Not fishy, but kind of like dirty floors? Took me a bit to get used to it. I had not been to a bonefish Grill in 13 years and today went to celebrate my guys birthday. It was amazingly good from the lovely interior, to the gracious server, the ahi tuna, the rainbow trout, AND to top it off boyfriend got a FREE amazing coconut pie birthday dessert. I admit I haven't been to Bonefish in maybe a decade. The food was excellent. The service was solid except for the bar. We waited over 15 minutes twice for a beer. Our table had empty drinks (with new ones on order) for 2/3 of our meal. Menu offers grilled fish but no option for blackened, spicy, Cajun, etc. Easy add. Tuna and Bang Bang shrimp apps did not disappoint, Grouper was excellent. Fish tacos (you can get those blackened) were good but could have used pico/salsa or spice. Butterfish was "fishy" which was odd. Small, crowded, loud location. But, obviously popular. read more

The bang bang shrimp was excellent and consistent with taste, flavor, and portion size as our experiences at other BG locations. The chowder was equally tasty. I very much enjoyed the grilled shrimp and scallops with ample rice and broccoli. Ideally, it would have a pasta option (I didn't inquire). I could skip the bread and the pesto lacks flavor (just good olive oil would be fine). All in all we enjoyed dining at this location. Let me just say that I have enjoyed many dine-in and takeout meals from Bonefish Grill in Winter Garden over the years. This past weekend and today were times when I wasn't cooking, and once again they did not disappoint. I just finished a delicious Blackened Salmon dinner with garlic mashed potatoes, and it was absolutely incredible. The salmon was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and cooked just right. Over the weekend, I had a taste for shrimp fried rice and asked Manager/Chef Shane if they could prepare a shrimp fried rice dish for me. Not only were they accommodating, but the dish was amazing! A special thank you to Chef Shane and the entire team for consistently providing outstanding food and exceptional customer service. Stopped in for happy hour at Bonefish Grill and was really pleased with my experience! The blueberry lemon drop I ordered was one of the best lemon drops I've ever had -- and at half price, it was a total win. We sat at the bar because they were hosting a monthly private event, but that worked out perfectly for us. Our server was super attentive and even gave us a quick rundown of the private event, sharing how to join in on the fun next time. We stuck to appetizers to go with our drinks. The ahi tuna wonton crisps were packed with flavor, and we also tried the bang bang chicken. It was good, but I'm still partial to the bang bang shrimp! Ceviche, bang bang & calamari. By the time our food arrived I was already full so I just ate one taco, comes with three on the fish tacos. Bonefish is always an upscale experience. I wish we didn't have to drive 32 miles but it's worth it. It took a while for eyes to adjust to a dark interior but as they did, the light revealed white tablecloths, and upscale fishy art on the walls. Our server, Robin was friendly, polite and Johnny on the spot. The menu has been somewhat reduced since our last visit, or maybe it was just lunch. Either way, my wife would order Lily's chicken without looking. It is fragrantly spiced and smothered in cheese. The chicken is moist and I don't know where they get them, but the flavor hasn't been bred out of their flocks. I had a hard time deciding, but ultimately the bourbon glazed salmon appealed most. We started with blackened chicken egg rolls and scarfed up the two small bowls of dip. My salmon was a generous cut, well covered in glaze and came with delectable roasted potatoes and green beans with sautéed mushrooms. My Bang Bang Benedict from the Sunday Brunch menu arrived on a stale, seemingly untoasted English muffin that just made me sad. The eggs were over-poached which denied me the pleasure of a nice unctuous yolk to run over my shrimp. The stingy application of hollandaise sauce was maddening as the dish was begging for some moisture to rescue it. The spicy potatoes on the side were fine. The beer rescued my meal from being a total disaster. Carlos is overworked and deserves kudos for attempting to make everything right. Bonefish Grill was good many years ago. I ordered a salad with salmon and my mom ordered a burger. The food came out fairly quickly and tasted ok. I really think this place is overpriced. I feel like I could have gotten similar items at Chilis or Applebees for a much better price. I don't particularly like Chilis or Applebees, so now I'm going to have to put Bonefish in the same category of chain restaurants that I don't really like. I mean, if this is where everyone else wants to eat, you can find something to eat, but don't expect too much. As for the service... meh. I didn't find our server very friendly and she didn't check on us after I told her that I didn't love the food, but that it was "ok".
