The ease of walking in and getting a table while being greeted with a smile is always inviting! My kids and I went for a family dinner(first in a while) and we were greeted by Cameron, our waiter, with a beautiful smile and energy! The drink and dinner menu are always delicious as I had a vodka and tonic and my daughter had a margarita!! We started our night with stuffed mushrooms which were so creamy and a good size, they were delicious and moved onto a large salad with dressing-so big I couldn't finish it. For dinner we had Flo's filet and an Outlaw Ribeye, all came out medium as we asked and did not disappoint! The steaks were of good quality, cut like butter and the perfect size! We love walking in and checking out the decor, which has some pretty interesting wall hangings! A favorite is the huge Buffalo above the bar(where you can eat and watch sports on the overhead tv's). Swung by LongHorn Steakhouse in Winter Garden on a Sunday afternoon, along with what seemed like half the local post-church crowd. Despite the rush, we were seated almost immediately -- booth right by the main entrance, which wasn't ideal, but hey, no complaints when you're hungry. It had been a minute since I'd been to a LongHorn. I wasn't expecting a dry-aged, wagyu-level experience -- just something to scratch the steak itch. They kicked things off with their signature brown bread and butter. Surprisingly addictive. We tore through the first loaf so fast they brought a second without hesitation. Points for the carb hospitality. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye, medium rare (because I'm not a monster), with a premium side of bacon mac and cheese and a house salad. The salad, oddly enough, came with a bonus ingredient: an actual ice cube perched on top. Weird flex, but okay. Even the server looked at it like it had just landed from another planet. She swapped it out promptly, and the second round was much better -- fresh, crisp, and properly chill without actual cubes of ice. The ribeye itself? Solid. Cooked properly, juicy, and well-seasoned with just salt and pepper -- the way nature and cattle intended. No steak sauce necessary (because I have standards, thank you very much). The mac and cheese started strong -- cheesy, smoky, promising -- but kind of fell apart halfway through. The bottom was dry and the crust was flirting with "burnt." Still edible, just not love-letter-to-my-mouth material. Service was great throughout, especially considering how slammed they were. Overall, it hit the spot. Came here on a Wednesday for lunch with a few other people. We trickled in one by one but the host was very attentive to getting us all seated together. We were on somewhat of a time crunch, but our waitress was quick to take our drink orders. I order a Coke, which happens to be my go to at all locations and let me tell you - it was crisp and cold. On a hot day, I definitely ordered a second one. Everyone else at the table ordered different beverages and felt the same. I ordered the potato soup, which was decent but a little on the cold side. I shouldn't say cold, but definitely not soup hot. I ordered the filet and Mac and cheese as my main entree. The filet was cooked medium rare and perfect. It was tender and well seasoned. The mac and cheese was good, but would I order it again? probably not. The waitress did an amazing job getting us taken care of and out for work on time. What can you say about Longhorn? It's a great steakhouse. We come to this location often because of the food and because of the service. Longhorn is a chain restaurant so their menus are all the same. This location in Winter Garden is one of the best that we have ever been to. The inside is not terribly huge, but even if there is a wait it's usually not more than 20-30 minutes. They do have a call ahead as well, which I usually forget to do. If you have to wait they have a nice seating area inside, a few benches outside, or you could sit at the bar. We have always had really great service here even when they're very busy. Servers are attentive, but don't over crowd you so you have the opportunity to enjoy your food. Some of our favorite appetizers are the stuffed mushrooms and firecracker chicken wraps. I have always gotten some sort of steak here, and the same with my husband and my family. We have tried a few of the other items including chicken and the salmon and both of them being very good as well. The steaks are always delicious and cooked usually very well. There have been a few occasions where they were way under or way over, but they are always willing to fix it for you. All in all if you're looking for a good restaurant to have a steak, that's not going to be super super expensive, Longhorn is an excellent place to go. They sprinkle their steaks with seasoning seasoning that gives it a really nice crust and taste. The bread they give you is always hot and warm and just delicious. We met some friends at LongHorn Steakhouse last weekend for dinner. It was a Sunday evening, so I was surprised to see the restaurant so incredibly packed. After we were seated, it seemed like the restaurant and staff were also surprised to see it so packed on a Sunday evening. I'm not sure they were prepared for such a crowd. We didn't see our server very often, and a manager was nowhere to be seen, making sure that everyone was happy. 3 of the 4 meals came out at the same time. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. And waited for the 4th. It finally came, and it was just a steak. No side. My partner questioned where his sweet potato was. They went back to check. Why on Earth would you even bring out a main dish without its side items? And why on Earth would you bring out 3 of 4 entrees knowing that there are FOUR people at the table? He was almost done eating the steak before our server came back to the table to let us know that they're out of sweet potatoes. Why on Earth wouldn't the kitchen advise the server(s) in advance? Why wasn't the expeditor notified when they were bringing out the food? Where was the manager? We were almost finished with our meals by the time a replacement side item (mashed potatoes) came. The bake was nicely done but the sauce had no real flavor. It was replaced with the mushrooms were delicious, but my wife seemed to think they would be better with shrimp stuff, but they were fine and creamy by me. The mojito was fine and it wasn't on the menu, so kudos. I prefer a pumpernickel bread and was dissatisfied with that portion. We always go to this Longhorn location. It is a bit farther from us but is easier to get to than the one in Altamonte and the parking is much better. We always have good food and good service here and tonight was no exception. I got the strawberry margarita (long pour) and we started with the Red Rock shrimp appetizer. The strawberry margarita came with the option of salt or sugar, which was a nice option-but I chose neither. The shrimp appetizer was fried cocktail sized shrimp, comes with some cherry peppers mixed in and ranch dressing. The shrimp were freshly fried and crispy. The ranch cooled them off and added a nice flavor contrast to the spicy pepper and shrimp. I then received my Caesar salad which was a large salad of chopped romaine hearts with lots of dressing and croutons. Delicious! My meal was the 6oz Flo's filet with a side of grilled mushrooms. I almost always request well done but this time went out on a limb and asked for medium well. What came out was more medium so I sent it back for a few more minutes on the grill. It was better but I learned a lesson to stick to well done next time. The grilled mushrooms were underwhelming and a bit blah in my opinion. Next time I'll stick with the baked potato. It looked better. My husband got the NY strip and baked potato with butter only and loved his entire meal. My daughter got the Parmesan crusted chicken breast with loaded baked potato (her usual there) and enjoyed every bite They bring a loaf of warm bread and butter to the table while you wait for your dinner which is a nice crusty loaf of light brown bread with a slightly sweet flavor and nice soft bread on the inside. Yes, the food isn't as hot but it's convenient for a busy weeknight. Online ordering is easy to navigate and only takes 30 minutes. They send a text so you can enter your parking spot number on arrival and will bring your order out. So right now this is my oldest son's favorite place to eat. To say he is obsessed with the chicken tenders and broccoli is an understatement. I want to like it, I really do, but every time I go I just end up with mediocre food and a wishfulness that we had gone somewhere else. First, let me say, our server Samantha was good. She tried to interact with my youngest, who was just not having any of it. She was quick to bring our drinks, and was friendly. She was also very quick to fix the problem below, and should not be held responsible for the fact there was an issue. Our food started to come out, and that's where things went south for me. I had ordered the chicken tender salad, but requested grilled chicken instead. The grilled chicken came out raw - still very much translucent. OBVIOUSLY this puts a huge damper on me wanting to eat anything, but Samantha was quick to recognize something was off and had the kitchen remake my salad. It only took about 2 minutes, but here's what I noticed in that 2 minutes. Not once did the manager stop to see how we were doing, or why I was missing food. We started with salads, and both had too much dressing. I like a good amount of dressing, so for it to be too much is not good. We both ordered ribeye's. Mine was the Outlaw Ribeye as I prefer a bone-in steak, hers was the regular ribeye. Both ordered medium. Hers was done fine, but mine was rare, way undercooked. On top of that, it was fatty, tough - not a good steak. Frustrating when you go to a steakhouse, order their specialty, and it's not good at all. The manager came over and I showed him the steak. He was nice and offered another steak, but I declined. He took it off the bill. This is not the first time getting a bad steak at this location, so we won't be going back here. I'm still in shock over my visit to this Longhorn Steakhouse. I'd been to another Longhorn, years ago, and it was fine, but I never actually had steak. This time I was in the mood. Somehow I'd expected the result to be closer to Sizzler than Capital Grille (which Longhorn owned before selling both to concepts Darden). But I didn't expect to have the best steak of my life. Better than Capital Grille. better than Mortons, than Flemings, than Ruth's Chris. Better than I can cook at home. The Outlaw Ribeye was literally the best cooked, most tender, most flavorful and best seasoned steak I've ever had anywhere. The Caesar salad was also right up there with any steakhouse. The bread was okay, but more like Ruby Tuesday's now gone breadsticks (not a bad thing) rather than genuine steakhouse sourdough. Of course the wine list is so short it can't really be called a list, but the choices are fine. Service was very professional and attentive, and the environment is, frankly, better decorated and cozier than at those high-end places. At about half the price. I'll be back. read more

Perfectly situated across the street from Winter Garden Village (outdoor shopping mall area). Plenty of parking. Upon arrival, notification on the doors about extra precautions/cleaning requirements the restaurant is taking to ensure our safety. Hostess seated us with disposable menus. We were sat away from other tables. Labels when table has been sanitized and ready to seat and also signs on tables that cannot be used to maintain social distancing. The restaurant was not overly crowded. Bathrooms were super clean with hand sanitizer location right out of the bathroom area. Staff was very friendly, calm and looked happy to be at work! I highly recommend visiting this location. We ordered lunch chicken sandwich with salad, renegade sirloin (6oz) with loaded baked potato, chicken tenders with fries and firecracker chicken wraps. Everything was HOT, fresh and cooked to perfection! No condiments on the table but server asks if you need anything. I hate to say this, but I feel that the Darden restaurant concepts are going downhill. The food and the quality of service are just not there anymore. I decided to have a casual lunch here and get some work done while I did so. I sat at the bar, which was a weird location to begin with. No matter what seat you were in, you saw Into the kitchen, which was not my favorite view. I was supposed to get peanuts to munch on with my meal but apparently the bartender just forgot or couldn't be bothered? I ordered a glass of wine. Not too many options on the menu. Mediocre at best. I decided on a 6oz filet with broccoli for my lunch. It was seasoned and cooked beautifully. I'm used to filets being a bit too bland since there is not fat, but this one did justice. The broccoli was broccoli. Not much to say. The food came out so fast though! I was in and out in half an hour. So much for a relaxing lunch. I definitely felt rushed. My husband and I walked in a little over an hour before closing. Oddly enough it took about fifteen minutes to get seated in a nearly empty dining room. Three different employees asked if we have been helped before someone popped up and asked us to follow them. As soon as we were seated our waitress showed up immediately and took our complete order. About fifteen minutes passed before we received our drinks. The drinks were wrong but we rolled with it. Our appetizer came out quickly afterwards and our entrees took another twenty minutes. Since we ordered salads and there were only two tables in the restaurants this felt like slow service. We ordered Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms ($8.99) and two 7 Pepper Sirloin Salads. ($31.58) The kitchen did a great job. Our food was all very good. The steak was perfectly cooked and the salad was cold and had plenty of greens in it. read more

We went here for lunch yesterday. Haven't been here in a while . Since the economy is rough these days. My friend and I were able to pick one of the meals from the lunch menu. Server was so upbeat and amazing. Great experience. Plus, the food was amazing and we even had leftovers. If anyone is trying to save or stretch the dollars these days..try this place. read more

We were a group of 6. The wait was about 30 minutes, so that was ok. We were seated right at a table bear the front amd we were squeezed...absolutely no elbow room, so that made eating quite uncomfortable. Food was excellent, no complaints and Mr. Gibbs the manager was very personable!! read more

We went here on a Saturday night. It was somewhat busy but it definitely seemed like they are understaffed. The service was kinda okay and slow which I'm assuming it's because they seem understaffed. Our server was nice however, he was apologetic for the slow service. The food spoke for itself, delicious steak and broccoli. I don't recommend the Texas but all the food was great! read more

Meh. Not much to say about my visit. The wait was pretty average for a Friday night. 25 mins for table for 2. For appetizers we ordered the petals, they were okay. My husband and I both ordered Caesar salads and that was awful. The lettuce pieces were HUGE. I literally had to cut my salad into edible pieces. For dinner my husband ordered the chop, which he enjoyed but his fries were undone. I ordered a 6oz sirloin that was decent, it was more medium well than medium. Service was fine.
