Overall a pretty cool concept and very comfortable place to enjoy a coffee, read or work. There is a variety seating options at Gearhouse Coffee eg Booths, tables and comfy chairs. There is also a wall with books however I did not check it out, so I'm not sure if it was like an honor library or books for sale. I just really like the ambience of the interior. There are a variety of coffee and tea options and also some pastries. We got there about an hour before closing and looked like most of the pastries were sold out. The pastries I saw were by sea wolf, which is delicious bakery. I ordered a tea and it was piping hot. There's an area for sugars, however there are no milk carafes out. You have to ask the barista if you need milk. The tea blend was quite good. It looks like they rent out outdoor gear which adds to the vibe of this shop. I definitely go back

I randomly stopped by Gearhouse Coffee Shop in Seattle around 6 pm and honestly did not expect it to be this lively on a Wednesday evening. The place was packed as they were having a board-game night. It was actually really fun to see everyone was into their games, chatting, laughing, just super good vibes. I ordered a lavender latte and it was amazing. What really stood out is that this place is way more than just a typical coffee shop. It feels like a community spot, the kind of place designed for people to hang out, meet others, study, or just do their own thing. I noticed they seem to offer memberships and different activities, which I'm definitely planning to check out next time. If you're in the area and want great coffee & a genuinely warm, community-driven atmosphere, definitely check this place out.

Coffeehouse/cafe with a cool vibe, with a limited menu of food but a wide range of coffee and other drinks, including local beers. Enjoyed their sausage egg and cheddar breakfast sandwich which was premade but livened up on the panini grill. Their chocolate croissant was delicious warmed up. The Americano was high quality as was the iced ube latte. Service was friendly and pretty efficient too

I've come here a couple times to WFH out of the house. There's lots of seating options but it can get busy! It's a great concept bringing the outdoors indoor and great reading material around the room. Coffee and my food was great! Will be back.

Such a cool place!! The only downside is I never came sooner. I've been seeing signs for this place and finally decided to visit and it is such a cool concept. A gear rental place/lounge/cafe. Came to study and it was absolutely packed. Luckily there's a lot of space and seats and outlet. I got a lavender latte and I'm obsessed! Usually lavender lattes are too subtle and not very flavorful but this one had such a strong lavender flavor it was perfect. They also play great music and the overall vibes there are pretty nice

Super cute little cafe! Came here to do a little reading in the evening. They didn't have any baked goods (but we came later in the day), so I ended up getting their house made lemonade which was pretty refreshing. They offer burritos and a nice size coffee menu. Lots of seating inside and a really cool spot if you're looking for local and outdoorsy things to do! Looks like a wonderful place to meet new people!

    Cafe latte. Could've been better.

Spacious and nice ambiance but the coffee was a bit disappointing. Compared to other coffee shops the price was slightly higher yet my coffee tasted a bit burned. Just didn't have that great taste I expect from a well-made latte. Also, it turned bubbly (not foamy) couple of minutes after I received it. Bummer since the service was good! The space is cool and would make a good place to meet up with friends or to get work done. This cafe seems best for the people who joined their program and for those looking for nice aesthetics.

Bright and open cafe with a strong sense of community. There are a lot of tables and seating area where people were working or chatting and there were a lot of flyers and information about gear rentals and events at the cafe itself. I just stopped by for a quick espresso (which was good) but I'm looking forward to coming back

I've been to basecamp on two separate occasions and both times it's been packed and lively! It's a true third space location -- there was even a poetry group meeting at the table next to me. They also host numerous events and the last time I went was their trivia night! I would say to be mindful of their calendar of events since it got pretty loud as I was studying. You can also rent gear here which is pretty cool :) I ordered an iced caramel macchiato ($7.17) and it was really good!! They also have beer on tap which gives variety to the usual coffee and tea found at cafes. Also I thought the workers here were really friendly! They're located right in cap hill and I love that they're one of the few cafes open so late (7pm-9pm depending on the day). Also there's tons of seating even with how packed it gets!

What a cozy café with delicious high-quality coffee, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere. The space is huge! Lots of seating, perfect place to read, work, hangout, relax, play some board games. They serve specialty drinks like espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and cold brews, along with locally sourced pastries. This is a Perfect space for outdoorsy lovers and cafe lovers.

Stopped by Basecamp Coffee today and ordered a 12 oz iced latte and a dirty chai. The total came out to $16, which felt steep given the taste. Unfortunately, the drinks were nothing to write home about At this price point, I expected something more enjoyable. Additionally, the barista taking our order was constantly playing with her hair, which was unappealing and didn't give the best impression of cleanliness. There are far better coffee shops in the area, in my opinion, but I wanted to try this one given all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Basecamp is a super cute coffee shop with great vibes! It is located close to the cap hill link station, making it a convenient place to stop by. I really like the ambiance of this cafe, it feels very cozy and is great for studying, catching up with friends, or playing games with friends (they have a great collection of board games!) It can get pretty crowded but the cafe is relatively large so I haven't struggled to find a place to sit yet. Their drinks are good, nothing special, but I will be back again for the vibes!

    Inside, late afternoon

Randomly walked in to get a warm drink and the coffee was fantastic! Very very good flavor- and cool shop. Definitely worth going to!

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They used a good slab of coho, nicely seasoned with a aioli. The fries were crunchy and nice. I shared with my husband and it was just right, since we had a bunch of apps at the market. We also got a round of beers. Or in my case I got their hard seltzer, which wasn't too bad, I would probably just get a light beer next time. Service was great outside! There are several beers and some ciders on tap from all around and all the ipa's I've tried here have been pretty decent. from there you grab your brew and have a seat at high top tables within the tap room. Again, the setting is mid-sized good for a couple groups of four and a few two person tables. Music is at a decent volume and is lit dimly making it decent for a date spot or just a place to have conversation without raised voices. Fridges line the tap room so you can mix and match beers, ciders and wines to take out which is cool. I like Bottleworks, I want to enjoy it more, but there are some issues holding me to 3 stars. The staff are...alright. Not bad, but I feel could be a little friendlier. Also they don't allow sample pours? This is a common thing at most breweries, but maybe it's because this is a tap room, but beers run a bit higher here - $8-9 a pour so that's annoying that you can't even try a couple. Lastly, they rotate things out it seems weekly. Some of the more popular options I suppose they keep but seems like a lot of turn around on the drinks so if you like something they have on tap, don't get too attached. Perhaps on subsequent visits It will improve, and I can boost the score here, but besides the decent beers and setting, it's just OK here.

It's smaller than I imagined it to be but every beer inside, from the draft list to the cans and the bottles are carefully curated by the staff. We grabbed a quick beer (Hill Farmstead, which is the first time I've seen this brewery for sale in the since I started this trip 6 weeks ago and Ive been through 4 states) Then we shopped for some cans, we quickly had to refrain from buying too much as the refrigerator in our van only holds so much. We ended up with a six pack and then grabbed a mystery 4 pack on the way out (mystery 4 pack was stellar). While we're shopping they opened a sour from Jester King and shared it with us. I honestly wish I lived a bit closer (Las Vegas is kinda far) because I'd be here everyday... Honestly, they have a whole cooler just for barley wine! The staff are very knowledgeable about beer and are very hospitable. Thanks for a great experience!
