I've tried both the Downtown and Capitol Hill location and much prefer the Capitol Hill location. The vibe at the Capitol Hill location is that of a relaxed cafe where you can hang out and have your cute specialty drink and buy espresso beans at your pace. Whereas the downtown location is really a take-out order booth that can't fit more than four people. Service at the Capitol Hill location is more personable compared to the downtown location where the priority is to get the drinks out as fast as possible. The Lush Life drink is at least consistent between both locations and is a really nice specialty coffee drink. The espresso and the grapefruit are well balanced and the coffee is strong. The single origin espresso is good but a little too winey for my taste and I would've preferred trying the other espresso. It really depends on what type of vibe you want. Both Ghost Note locations provide good coffee but one focuses more on take-out and the other focuses on cafe sit down. read more

If you want innovative mocktail format coffee drinks, this is the place! This is a fairly spacious coffee shop in Capitol Hill that has many different types of coffee drinks that you wouldn't really find elsewhere. It's strongly recommended to enjoy the drinks for here than to-go since the presentation is nicer. I got the Sun Ships which is one of their more popular mainstay drink which has espresso and grapefruit, rosemary, coconut, sparkling water with a slight tartness to it. I enjoyed every sip. Had to take my partner to one of my favorite cafe spots in Seattle! Ordered a cup of mulling spice latte... so it is mulling spice syrup mixed with oat milk. It was amazing and unique! Very smooth tasting for a latte and the sweetness wasn't overpowering like other lattes with syrups around the city. The flavors in latte were full of cinnamon, clove, orange peel, and zesty black lime. Just perfect seasonal drink in the fall! Just love this selection of seasonal drinks in PNW. It's a pretty cute interior but the drinks aren't too stand out. I like that they had merchandise inside like apparel and spirits/bitters. It's nice to look around while you wait for your drink! I was interested in the seasonal drinks but I opted for a chai latte (8oz). It seemed quite small but I enjoyed it, though I've definitely had better chais. This spot has been popping on my IG feed for a while so when I was in the area, I decided to check it out. First of all, this is a cute coffee shop in CH. As you enter the shop, you'll see some merch right off the bat. I was tempted to shop but I controlled myself! We got the Winter Soda, which is a seasonal drink made with their mulling spice syrup, and their Lush Life iced latte, which is made with their orange blossom honey syrup. I love the fact that they make their syrups in house! I loved my winter soda drink! It was refreshing but not too sweet. The Lush Life drink was good, but not impressive. But maybe it's because I don't like iced coffee drinks that much. I would love to come back and try their hot coffee drinks as well as their pastries! read more

I'm recently sober, and never would have guessed that the best NA spirit and bitter loaded drinks would be from a coffee spot!? For dry January 2024 they have a fun menu with so many drinks it was hard to choose. They sell all of the spirits and bitters in store too! Coffee and vibe was also smooth and warm. I got talking with the owner(?)/mixologist working bc mentioned the new sobriety and they let me taste the options. Went home with a bottle of Ritual Rum Alternative, which has chilies added to give it a bite, would recommend. NA spirits are 10% off in January if you spend $30 or more, run don't walk!!! read more

First time here. The name immediately drew me in - I think it's one of the more beautiful names for a cafe that I've come across. Interior was warm and cozy with limited seating and fairly minimalist design aesthetic. I ordered a latte with whole milk and a slice of the pistachio rose cake. Both were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the latte; the espresso had a rich and deep flavor and the art inscribed upon the foam thereof retained it's integrity all the way down to the bottom of the cup. Three drinks were ordered in our group and all of them were really yummy. Oat milk cappuccino with mulling spice syrup - no need to add sugar or anything to this drink, it was delightful. Very light, and if you're not a super coffee drinker it was a good dose of caffeine with a really fun flavor. Chai - classic. Great spice and slightly on the less sweet side. I have been eyeing this cafe because it has one of the most creative drink menus I have seen in Seattle. And wow it did not disappoint! My first visit I ordered the Lush Life and the potato pastry. The potato pastry was meh: tasted fine but costed $5. I think I will probably not order pastries from here in future visits. The Lush Life was a game-changer. I have avoided getting coffee or espresso drinks with citrus because I didn't like it the one time I tried it, but I really loved this one. The orange flavor was a nice complement to the coffee taste. It wasn't too overpowering and added a nice tangy sweetness. They also add a slice of grapefruit skin which gave off a slight grapefruit aroma, further elevating the drink. This one drink has made me more open to trying new espresso drinks. I came back the next day because I kept thinking of the Lush Life drink I had. I want to try and drink everything on their menu! I ordered the Nefertiti (a seasonal drink) with fig and cinnamon bitters. The Nefertiti was chocolatey and rich. I didn't taste any fig flavors, but did taste some cinnamon. I think it was a good drink, but not something I would want to order again. I wish ordering the signature drinks didn't cost almost $10 (after tax and I think they auto add 10% gratuity). Otherwise I would come here everyday! There's a decent amount of space to work here too and the ambiance seems nice (although the first time I visited they were playing heavy metal which made me have to wear my earphones). read more

I've been going to Ghost Note for years and have always appreciated the quality and atmosphere. Unfortunately, today's experience was incredibly unprofessional. I waited over 15 minutes for a simple iced Americano, which was initially made incorrectly because the barista didn't write down the order. She then made the correct drink and I politely mentioned I was getting late for work. As I was leaving, she loudly remarked to other customers, "Why did she stop at a coffee shop then?" That comment felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, especially when I had already waited longer than expected and did not say anything except I have to go. Very cute and classic Seattle coffee shop. I ordered one of their seasonal drinks, the Naima. It consisted of cookie butter, spiced cookie crumble, cinnamon bitters, and oat milk. They only have one size and I believe it was 12oz. The drink was DELICIOUS! I know they make all their syrups in-house and everything's very natural foods focused as well. Although it was super tasty, the price is just absurd to me. And especially for the size of the drink. It was over $9 for this drink. I was in shock. A cute little cafe that I stumbled upon while walking around Cap Hill. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. Service was friendly and they have tables and seating inside their cafe. I got the London Smog tea latte because I'm not too much of a coffee drinker. They use a tea bag to steep the tea and this latte came with oatmilk and had a really interesting smoky flavor. It was tasty! Not as rich or indulgent as a chai latte but I enjoyed it. I also got their hazelnut, fig, cocoa milk bread. There was a special name for it, but I can't remember. This was just ok, it was really dry and wasn't too sweet. I should have went with their apple bread which looked like it would have been better. Overall, a cute coffee shop, not sure if I would come back unless I was near the area. read more

The best orange infused latte I've ever experienced was here in this small jazzy cafe called Ghost Note. Their menu has a collection of innovative coffee concoctions like I've never seen before-- in a good way. The flavors are sophisticated, classy, and creative. I felt like I was watching a former-mixologist-now-barista tend to my drink and I can say that I fully trust them with my life. I was skeptical of the Almond Orange Latte (Lush Life) and almost subbed oat milk but the barista said that almond milk pairs really well with the orange so I left it. I'm glad I didn't change it because my latte was so smooth and so delightful I can't even describe the experience other than looking forward to having it again. I always order orange infused lattes hoping each time it would be better than the next and Ghost note has topped them all. Kudos. Also the presentation is cherry on top. read more

I've never had a coffee with a orange peel in it before (as if it's an old fashion cocktail) but they do it here and I swear it makes it SO much better.
