Terrible customer service across the board from the sales staff at Boniface Hiers Mazda. At first, I was ghosted by the sales person I was communicating with on day one. I really wanted to make a deal happen so I called the dealership back a few days later so I can try and speak to someone that could sell me a car. I ended up being called and texted by upwards of three different sales rep's simultaneously. By all accounts, this created a confusing and unclear sales environment for me and would for anyone else. After the sales people at Boniface Hiers Mazda were informed I was an active military member out of state they ghosted me again. And as to spite me after the fact, a week after they proceeded to taunt me with "text-bait" giving me a number to call them back at because they have "great news" for me. They make up prices hide window sticker and alter contracts to the price they want you to pay rather than the one you negotiated. It's criminal and I was taken for more than 5k above what I said I would pay for the car. They never showed me my contract so I didn't see the number till a few days later. My fault for not seeing it immediately but they doesn't excuse the fact they knowingly took advantage of me. After calling the manager and letting him know I was deceived he did nothing to help me. The service department had daughter's Mazda 3 for 34 days. She was told it was the high pressure fuel pump. It wasn't. Then they said it was rat damage to the harness. So they had to replace the harness and wires. When it still wouldn't run they said they had no idea what wrong. Then they said it was the computer. It still didn't run. Now they say it is the low pressure fuel pump. Over $5000 dollars of repairs and diagnostics for a car worth $12K. They don't know how to fix their own cars. I feel if she were a man, this wouldn't have happened. Stay away from this dealer. read more

The whole establishment is shady. They have at least 7 complaints with BBB just this year. And I'm sure it's nothing new. I was ripped off and betrayed by a salesperson named Trent Barrett whom put down number on my sales contract that were added without my consent. the car was listed for 26k and I agreed to pay taxes title fees then they sold me gap insurance which I didn't need and a package where they spray chemicals inside your car and detail the outside and then thy put something else in my contac for $2,900 their removing all three charges thanks to me contacting Mazda corporation and letting them know what the dealership and salesperson knowingly added without consent. Another stunt they pulled was taking the window sticker off the car I had an appointment to test drive. I asked the salesman where is the window sticker and he had it folded up between the seat and console. I agreed to the price listed on the web site which was 26 k plus txs and dealer fee. They made up a contract and put in a price of $34,788 . The saleperson kept me from seeing those numbers and the contract was e signed with my signature they had on file I'm guessimy. I'm getting everything back that I didn't agree to but they put me thru hell. managers not taking my calls and calling me an idiot so many words. They are horrible and don't give a crap about their customers and will go thru any lengths to make a quick buck. BUYER BEWARE! I have exclusively used Boniface Heirs Mazda's service department since 2017 when I brought my Mazda 6 GT and before that when I owned an older model RX8. In the beginning I was impressed with the value and quality of the service department. However, 2 years ago I took my car in for a full brake job. I paid and trusted that they did the job. The following April I came in for an oil change only to find out that I had to replace all 4 rotors. Why? They told me because my calipers were not tightened. Well, the last one to work on the rotors and calipers was them - but they refused to take responsibility. Needless to say, I chose to go someplace else to get my next oil change. Wouldn't you know that the new shop found that Boniface Heirs warped the drain plug and it will have to be broken and replaced for me to get an oil change. To make it worse, I called Mazda to get some resolution and at a minimum, an apology. Instead, I got yelled at by the Service Manager and full denial of any wrongdoing. Way to go with that Customer Service - screw warranty forever - I will FOREVER avoid that place and I recommend you do too! read more

When I went back to address an issue that was caused by them, Frankie was incredibly rude, he actually started yelling and cursing at me in front of others. In addition to Andre the porter / shuttle driver Ken was also great. They gave me a ride home and also took less time for the service than they said (underpromise and over deliver) Another pleasant surprise was my receipt of a video l, directly from the service technician, outlining the current level of wear with my brakes and tires and an overall description of the work performed. This place is an absolute dumpster fire. I bought my vehicle here. My parents bought theirs as well. 11:30 appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Didn't leave until 2:20 pm almost 3 hours later. I've seen third world countries more organized and efficient. Oh, and my car came back absolutely filthy inside and with scuffs on the inside running boards. So thank you for that; my car came back worse than when I brought it in. I had an appointment and it took 4 1/2 hours for a oil change. Very excessive and no one even cared. If it was going to take that long be up front and honest. No call that it would take longer. I called inquiring after 3 1/2 hours and told it would be 10-15 min more. It was whole another hour. The manager who called didn't care. The service advisor was pretty rude. On Monday, 13, 2024, I went to Mazda Boniface to service my Car, CX5 2024. Then, after several attempts to claim how to get the money from the Insurance Gap, which is still pending, I took the issue again. I have been here in person and talked to the finance person and another person by phone. And though I have been patient and still feel in limbo about it and wait for a miracle, but nothing has happened.  That is why I asked my Dealer to take ownership and actions or tell me with whom and what phone number I have to call to take the actions needed and call them myself, but Frankie got disturbed and challenged me in such a way that I told him that this is the first time II feel tempted to write a review regarding the issue. That triggered his reaction and loss of control; the Sales Manager Brian was always under control and polite because I felt uneasy with the Customer service and lack of backup from Mazda Boniface. It looks like he felt hurt in his ego as a GM; I have to remind him respectfully that I am a loyal customer of Mazda and bought 6 Mazdas, four of them in Mazda in Orlando, and there I was never treated or ignored when I had an issue.  In the same way, Mazda demands to be paid on time, I also want my refund now and not "someday". The Sales Manager, Brian, promised to investigate again, and he did and came later to me saying with a Dealer Portal paper indicating that the contract was canceled on 3/13/2024, the check should be in process, but it has been over two months. I asked the Sales Manager the name of the insurance company, he said and wrote on the paper N WAN. I asked him for the phone number. He said we didn't know, and the money was still pending because the insurance company didn't give it back to Mazda. If I did business with Mazda, Mazda would have to return the Gap Money and resolve this with the insurance company if it should not be to the customer. This was the first time I felt uneasy in a Mazda dealer. Mazda Boniface does not prioritize my issue, leaving me feeling neglected and undervalued as a customer. As a loyal customer, I deserve better service and a more proactive approach to resolving this issue. I have to say that later, Frankie approached me and gave me a handshake, but I believe only there is a problem that needs to be addressed and resolved, not at the clients' cost. I had no idea how bad this place was until my experience caused me to look up other reviews. If you need service on your Mazda go anywhere else other than here. A combination of overcharging you for something that should've taken five minutes to diagnose and fix, ridiculously high prices, rude and condescending service people, not even being able to make sense of what the problem was and extremely disorganized service department that makes you wait extended periods of time despite making an appointment. Especially if you are a woman these people still haven't learned to not speak down to the female population of vehicle owners. I wanted to purchase my Mazda locally, but after reaching out to the salesman Michael Durkin who had tons of good reviews on here, I couldn't get him to budge on the sticker price + fees. I can't be Hank Hill'd into paying sticker price + aaaall the taxes and fees. That being said, I went with Sport Mazda in Orlando because they worked with me to get the price down AND did all of it via email - very accommodating and flexible. Worst customer service advisors I have seen in quite some time. Contacted them about an 08' Lexus. Received a call a short time later from customer service rep Tommy. All good so far. Asked him if there were any additional photos as there were only 3 posted of the vehicle. Was told they would get the photos to me quickly. 3 hours later, not a peep. Sent an email asking if the photos were forthcoming. Was told yes. I then asked if they could provide some out-the-door numbers while I waited for the photos. Never heard back which is funny as I was actually considering making them an offer based on the figures as the listed price was very good. The next day, still no word. I again inquire about the vehicle. Never got a response so I assumed the vehicle had sold. Earlier today I get an email from Tommy asking if he can speak to me about the vehicle. I respond and tell him I am not happy about being blown off for 2 days and ask him what he would like to discuss. You guessed it, never got a response. So you lost a sale here Boniface Mazda. My suggestion would be to get your customer reps trained up a bit as Tommy was horrible. read more

Three trips to this place for service on a CX-5. First trip they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it until the warranty expired then it suddenly became clear and costly. Second trip to actually resolve that issue and to do an oil change, all new tires, alignment and balance. Third trip, several days later due to constantly refilling the brand new tires as they ran out of air. They happily charged for the labor even though the warranty covered their faulty installation of the tires. Fourth trip--going to go to an Orlando dealer instead because this one didn't use Mazda recommended oil and because the coolant was low and triggering alarms--which also still warned service, oil change, and maintenance were due. So they just forgot to check the fluids? This company is deceitful and blatantly incompetent. read more

Been here 3 times with my 2020 CX-5. All 3 times were not satisfactory to say the least. At this point I don't think I would trust them with an oil change. First time they said new key fob was going to be about $900. My BMW key fob was not even that much. Went to local locksmith and fixed that issue for $350. Second time for brake noise, was told nothing wrong. Third time for brakes and wipers skipping. Was told need new rotors & pads for $600. Went to independent shop and fixed that for $360. Wipers they said they are skipping because they are not Mazda brand. Lack of expertise and service here. read more

I bought a 2016 CX-5 in 2017 and bought the extended warranty! With in 3 months my 1 year old vehicle had to have new rear brakes and within the first year and a half the battery had to be replaced. The maintenance department is a joke. If you don't bring your warranty information with you they say they don't know you have it and they end up charging you for everything anyway. I paid over $600 last October for things "Darla" told me would be included if I bought the extended warranty. Then when I had the battery issue I was charged $99 for a diagnostic test and $30 for rags? I decided to go elsewhere to buy my battery at that point. I also requested to cancel my extended warranty in writing with the finance department about 2 months ago and had yet to receive my refund check for my remaining balance. I've made 4 phone calls, left voicemails and messages with the receptionist. It's weird how the finance department is always on a call when I call. I would not recommend a Mazda to any due to the Maintenance issues and poor customer service. There are too many other better companies out there to get stuck with something like a Mazda. I would like to add that they kept all my floor mats? They said they weren't in the vehicle when they got it but I have noticed that they remove all the mats from their rentals. As a prideful owner of a 2021 Miata X-5, a sports car I very much enjoyed driving around in for the past 2 years, I never thought for a minute that I could ever get into another car. But with 70 looming up on my horizon... I was beginning to feel that it wouldn't be long before I'd have to start doing shoulder rolls to get out of that little thing. It so happened that while I was in the dealership, I spied a QR Code on a Kelly Blue Book poster that I scanned into my phone just to see what their "Cash Offer'' might be... never assuming that I might be able to actually get into something else more comfortable and more enjoyable than what I was currently tied to. But after Trae's insight and helpful recommendations, I was introduced to Jon, an awesome sales guy who was never aggressive but very professional in his manner. He listened carefully to my plight before showing me what he had available. He took "possession of the ball," and went the extra distance to find me a solution that would work out well for me. Of all the car salesmen I've known in my past, Jon made the whole experience not only enjoyable but short and seamless. He wondrously matched my lifestyle as well as my wallet. I can't thank him enough, as well as everyone else I met that day-- from Trae's expert Customer Service, to Jon's quality professionalism, to Barry's efficiency in Finance to darling Chelsea who gave me a loaner to drive home in (a few days later) while they applied the Paint Protection to my car... If you look for it, you can readily tell how much pride this team takes in what they do and how much fun they have while doing it. Boniface Hiers is truly a superior dealership in the area and a credit to Brevard County. As a senior citizen, it was a pleasure to drive onto their lot and find my Miata's problem serviced so quickly... but it was even more than a dream come true to find myself driving out of their lot, that same day, in a BRAND NEW CX-30 that has far surpassed any and all expectations. These guys don't want to sell cars. I called and asked 3 times to get a couple photos of a vehicle they had for sale. I told them im buying this week... they wouldn't do it. My only option was to drive an hour and a half to come see a vehicle they weren't willing to even take a photo of on their phone so I could see it before driving an hour and a half. Their loss. Buying another truck that 6 hours away, flying there and driving it back. Because they were willing to take photos, videos and work with me over the phone. This review is based on their service department. Wesley and the staff are wonderful. Everyone was extremely friendly in the service department and the sales manager was also very cordial. All of the staff were working hard and almost all of them stopped to make sure I had been assisted or asked me if I wanted something to drink. The customer service is amazing here! I like that they are open on Saturdays by appointment. Even though I waited a little longer than I had anticipated, I know that Saturdays are busy. Plus, they have bottled water, Kerig coffee, Nutri-Grain bars, and other assorted fruit and nut bars to graze on if you get hungry (complementary). But what really surprised me and was extremely nice was that they wash your car when they are all done. I have not had my car washed after an oil change for 15 years! This is an old fashioned "extra" that will keep me coming back. Nice job service department! read more
