Very deceptive. I saw a truck on their website advertised at $31,619 with no asterisks, no disclaimer, just the price. I get there and the truck is almost over $5K due to prep fees and other dealer costs. I told the sales manager that wasn't stated on the webpage and he insists it is. I go home look up the truck and nowhere is there any information stating this and IF it is it's very hard to find. Ya know, like in a deceptive kind of way! I haven't even mentioned the fact the day before I came in to look at another truck the rushed to put on the site and the floorboards looked like a movie theater floor that hasn't been cleaned in years, and in no way ready for sale. I am very upset with Boniface Hiers Chevy. Treated terrible by service manager Glenn and assistant manager Tim. My car broke down twice. Bought brand new 2021 trailblazer. Car stalled several times. Once in middle of a major intersection near my home. It only had 12,760 miles. They sent out two different tow trucks and gave me a rental car. My understanding was I had warranty forever.the car stalled twice And the first AAA guy came to HRMC where it did not start told me it was not the battery and never even tried to jump it. The man said it was not battery and had no codes when he checked with his machine. A friend came and simply jumped it and it started right up. Got home and had to leave to go take care of a patient and once again it died. Unable to go to job that made me lose income. The proceeded to send out a tow truck driver from different towing company. He tested it like the first man did and he stated it's not battery and likely electrical issue. He jumped it and I drove around. I returned home and went in for night. Got up next day to go see my mom in ALF after her hospital stay. This is where I was driving home from ALF. And it died in the busy intersection. My friend came and a nice person helped push it into a restaurant parking spot. One again I had to call for a tow truck. I was not there because I didn't have a car to go anywhere. A friend rode his bike to meet and watch tow truck driver. I was told he checked the battery. Chevy want 396$ for a battery and I refused because once again I was told it was not the battery. My friend finally installed battery and Glenn and Tim said my friend cracked the box that battery sits in. Said he over tightened the one of the bolts. Please note 12/4/24 the car was taken in for scheduled oil change. I had been to Advanced Auto Parts and 2 gentlemen came out and checked oil and there wasn't any per their observation. My friend crawled under my car and oil pan was full of oil. Tim from Chevy stated it's full of oil and sent me a picture and it was magically clean. Accused my friend that installed battery. After multiple people including assistant manager said he tightened the bolt himself. This all started after oil change. The car does start but every warning light stays on. I get text stating things are not working properly daily. Glenn the head manager stated mam it's your fault and I kindly stated where is proof. I refused to pay 632$ to have a battery placed with no proof of who broke the box around battery. Now when I do drive which is rarely do. I requested all the paperwork work since I bought car and have followed the warrant requirements. I have many friends that have experienced troubles with with several different Boniface Hiers locations. I put it all over Facebook and people expressed all negative issues with Boniface Hiers locations. I have a friend that bought a used corvette and cost him 50k. Ended up they sold him a stolen recovery car and said the people at Chevy were horrible. I have a mutual friend on facebook that messaged me privately and asked me what was wrong. He proceeded to tell me Chevy is not the company that fixes cars that it was a 3rd party repair warranty. Again this was never stated to me. The funny thing the only person that could tell me the problem is the guy Erik that picked me up and is not a tech or anything but a worker that has multiple duties. I will never buy anything from any Boniface Hiers dealerships. And neither will anyone that responded to my complaint. I was encouraged to write review on Yelp. I fear driving the car and picking my mom up that has dementia and take her to her dr appointments! They are not true to their words. 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty. They all lied. I followed the rules. I politely thanked Glenn and again he said mam it's your problem now. I had to increase my car insurance to get roadside assistance. To this day the car has only 12,800 miles on it. I felt belittled and stupid by the to managers. I watched closely as my paperwork was moved from person to person . If you want to know where NOT to go for service, then go to Boniface Hiers. My husband and I have a 2021 Chevy Silverado that we had an appointment for Monday 8-11-2025. We checked in the truck as i needed to get to work. Not only did we have an appointment, but there was hardly any communication. Our service advisor Christine did text me on that Monday stating that we needed to check in with her even thought we had already made an appointment. We did check in with the service manager. When she texted me as she never called me, I let her know that I had important documents form when we first purchased the truck that may have related to the issue. I e-mailed her the documents, with no confirmation. The next day on Tuesday, we called to check on our truck and we were directed to voicemail. I was then texted by Christine. She stated that there is a FEW DAYS wait for diagnostic. I texted her and told her that communication is important and that we had an appointment and why would we make an appointment for diagnostic and have to wait til Thursday to even have them look at it, I asked if I should being it back and stated that we would loose our place in line. I did not contact them til Thursday because I wanted to see if they would stick to their promise. They did not. My husband and I drove there on Thursday as when we did call, we did not receive a call back from Christine or the service manager. We drove from Grant and approached Christine and she stated that our truck still had not been looked at even though we were told Thursday at the latest. Now she stated that her tech would for sure look at it on Friday. It was finally done at the end of the day. She never looked at the e-mail that I sent. Our company is a first tier supplier to General Motors and I can assure you that I will report the POOR Customer Service that Boniface Hiers has. In Indiana, where i lived previously, if I brought in my truck for service not only would they do the diagnostic that day, but they would COMMUNICATE what their findings were and would actually speak with their customers. Not only did the truck have multiple problems when we first received it, the service department can't get its act together when ordering parts and making appointments. I purchased a 2020 Toyota Tundra on 1/05/25 from Boniface Hiers Chevy. I traded in my car because I needed a truck for two jobs I work. I am a First Responder and also run my own lawn company so a truck was imperative. The purchase process was seamless and I had a good experience. Because of the age of the truck and the miles (162,000) I purchased a supplemental warranty through Boniface as a safety net. I drove the truck for 9 days and brought the truck to a certified Toyota mechanic (ToyLex) for routine maintenance and an inspection as the truck had developed a clunking/whining noise which I thought was coming from the transmission. This was on 01/14/25. After service was complete, ToyLex informed me the sound was coming from my right rear axle, which needed to be replaced in order to avoid further, more expensive repairs. I immediately called my salesmen at Boniface who told me my warranty was not active yet but that I could bring it in to them and they would handle it. The truck was left with them for a day and a half only for them to tell me that nothing was wrong and no repair was needed (1/15/24). After being frustrated with this, I called the warranty company (Endurance) and explained my situation. I was told by Endurance that my contract was active the day I purchased the vehicle. This is not what I was told be the dealership. The truck was brought back to Boniface Chevy for a more "thorough" inspection. During this visit, I was not told when it would be done, I did not receive a call as to the status of my vehicle and I had to call frequently and leave messages which were never answered. Finally I was called a day and half later (1/18/25) with the same result; nothing is wrong with the truck, come pick it up. At this point I am frustrated and ready for the problem, which I can physically feel and hear while driving to be resolved. I brought the truck back to ToyLex for repair and to deal with the warranty company directly. The truck was repaired and the warranty company denied my claim, stating its the dealerships responsibility to pay for it. I came out of pocket $1500 for this repair which according to Boniface, did not exist. Also, why would I purchase a warranty if it's going to be denied and I'm told to bring it back to the dealership? Seems crazy to spend the money on something that doesn't cover you. This has been an extremely frustrating process and I have not been helped at any point. I needed the truck to be in working order, I needed the warranty and I cannot afford to be spending this kind of money on a truck that supposedly was "good to go". No help from Boniface and no help from the warranty company which I purchased through them. The axle was supposed to be covered under warranty (it's in my contract) and I was also told Boniface would handle it. None of those things happened and now I'm out over $1500. I have had my phone calls fielded, I have had promises made that were not kept, I have had rude customer service and zero attention to detail in regards to my issues. I am not a confrontational person and have never had to deal with something like this and I would just like for the problem to be resolved. I do not leave reviews like this. I am so sorry to say but do not take your vehicle for repair there unless you are in warranty. Even then I would apprehensive. I have yet to bring my truck in and get it back problem-free. From 1200 dollar tires the did no balance. To a service check that resulted in metal to metal brake pads a week later, now a brake job that left me with a leaking caliper. All of this costed me extra to go to Gattos and have fixed because the will not call back. They had my truck for two weeks! They did not put my lug key back and can not find it. Service Dept. telephoned me saying that they received a OnStar Diagnostic Report about me needing service for my Equinox 2018 Tire Pressure Monitor System, and asking if I wanted to schedule service. They LIED. I get the same reports and that report for August 2025 said Tire Pressures were within acceptable limits and nothing about the Tire Pressure Monitor System. The way they found out is that the DIC on the dashboard indicated I had to get that system serviced so I scheduled a Service Appointment. That is how they found out because when I scheduled the service appointment, I listed that as the reason for the needed service. I subsequently canceled the appointment when I discovered that their 'Warranty Forever' did not cover the repair/replacement of the Tire Pressure Sensors and knowing that the dealer charges 30 to 50 percent more for repairs. I had the sensors replaced by SoloTech Autoworks at a very reasonable cost. Had it been the Sensor Module itself I would have been forced to take it to the Dealer because the repair/replacement would have required proprietary software that (surprise, surprise) GM does not share with anyone, or other repair facilities. I can understand them wanting to keep their service dept busy but lying to a customer to obtain service is unconscionable. Their practices mark a kind of weird desperation. I cannot abide such dishonesty and neither should YOU!! Take it to an honest service facility such as the aforementioned SoloTech Autoworks. read more

What a dreadful experience! To start, I couldn't get through on their phone tree... It would not patch me through to any of the service people or parts. So I found a number on the GM site and was finally able to get pass-through to a service manager named "Claire". It took me nearly two hours to get someone on the phone. Claire was rude and unhelpful. She was difficult to understand and really didn't seem to care about helping me get my vehicle serviced. No appointments on Saturday and no appointments after 10:30 AM on Friday is what I was told by Claire that's pretty unbelievable for a brand new Chevy Silverado with less than 1000 miles on it. A month of nothing getting done. Bobby, in service was probably the most difficult to deal with. Never got the same story with the truck. Each time I got an update, he had something different wrong with a needle 2020 truck I bought from the sister store in Cocoa. Took a month to get in. Nearly a month of calls from Bobby full of "I don't knows". Me: it's a check engine light which is covered under at least one of the warranties and service plans I purchased. Bobby: Don't know if it's covered. Me: How much is it? Bobby: Don't know Do you have the parts? Bobby: have to order them. When will they be in? Bobby: No telling, some of them are on back order. How long will it take to fix when you get the parts in? Bobby: .... Never mind. I can't leave it overnight because I need it in the morning Bobby: technicians out again. I'll pick it up tomorrow can you please have it ready for me to pick up at 8am because I'll be on a time crunch. Bobby: Ok Still took an hour and a half to get the truck because it was gridlocked in the back. I canceled my services and warranties and everything I could with Benefice because nothing was certain and it took weeks to get answers while they just held the truck and did nothing with it. Horrible service department. Their car wash was never in service. They use scare tactics to frighten a customer away such as extremely high "diagnostic fees." I purchased a 2020 Trax new from them and when the AC quit working at 12000 miles I was given reason after reason why I might be responsible for the repairs, even thought the vehicle was still under manufacturer warranty. I finally used Chevy points to pay for the diagnostic fee and was able to get the repairs completed under the warranty. I then purchased a 2019 Silverado with an additional 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty which I could never use. The back glass developed a leak and I was threatened with a $750 diagnostic fee to determine if the warranty would even cover the issue. I don't know about most people but I can't to afford to guarantee a $750 diagnostic fee on a maybe. I did nothing to cause the leak and it seems obvious that it is a product defect. My most recent issue involve shuddering engine starts, check engine light and multiple information screen messages. I Had an oil change scheduled when the check engine light came on and I just figured I could have it checked out during the oil change. The service writer asked if I was going to leave the truck with them for the light and I asked how long it took to diagnose a check engine light. He stated the it could take as little as two days or as much as two weeks. I was shocked and angered by his response and told him to just do the oil change. I then went to the sales floor and spoke with multiple people then a finance manager and cancelled the remaining bumper to bumper warranty since I couldn't use it anyway. All they had to say was that they were "Sorry I had had such an experience with the service department." About two weeks later I was driving home after a 13 hour shift at the hospital and my truck died at a busy intersection on Wickham Rd. in Melbourne. I had to have my truck towed twice to get it to a different dealership to sort out my problem. This was the Tuesday before Milton hit us and I was told that they might have my truck until after the storm as they were busy with vehicles in shop that were scheduled. I was fine with that. Bob Steele Chevrolet had my truck ready for pickup the same day. The issue was just a dead battery. In total I paid $900 between towing my truck twice, the battery and a rental car for the night. Thet took me in right away so I thank them However 1) They take your car in the back and then wheel it out you cannot see the mechanic do any work on the car there is no viewing window nor any open garage so as to view the work being done - so you dont know whether the job got done 2) after they tell you the job is done they do not put the car on a lift so they can show you the work that was done - so you don't know whether the job got done or not 3) they do not show you the old part that was replaced - so you dont know whether the job got done Conclusion - you are not allowed to watch the work, inspect the work, or see the old part, bottom line -was the job completed - nobody knows, Though they feed you a lot of coffee and donuts - I have a right to see what was done to my car I would stay away for your safety read more

So two days ago going to visit another dealership and leaving with a poor taste in my mouth I chose to goto aboniface and upon my arrival I was greeted by a gentleman Matt who was a sales rep and I had explained about how I just moved down here a few months ago from up north and was potentially looking into trading in my current vehicle because of how old it was and the mileage I explained that the dealership I purchased my truck from up north had screwed me and I now still owed $15,000 on my 2011 and had a car payment of over $500 a month he stated he fully understood and he had explained then that my best option would be instead of buying pre owned to look at brand new due to brand new could bury the negative equity on my truck and he could also keep in or lower round the car payment I have now so with that being said I had him show me a vehicle a 2023 Chevy Equinox LS to be exact and I fell in love with the car so I chose to look into moving forward having my truck appraised before anything upon my truck being appraised they come back willing to give me $4,000 for my trade in but now claiming they need $7,000 down and my car payment would range between $7-800 and I stated that in the beginning I told him I could not go any higher than where I'm at now with a car payment. He kept staring well you're buying a brand new vehicle. Well I can't speak to the actual service, because that never happened. I waited for 2 weeks for my appointment and dropped off at 7:30 Tuesday 01/17, after 2 days of waiting, the car was never dispatched to a technician. I picked up my car and we now search for a new Chevrolet Dealer to service my car. It was a minor warranty issue, so I kind of needed a dealership. It seems in this time of short supply of new car inventory, you would focus on service customers and deliver at the highest level possible. It seems Boniface Hiers isn't capable of delivering great service and from the reviews I read before hand ....and still took an chance on them. So 2 month since my original service for a new catalytic convertor and I am still having issues with the repair. About a week after picking up my truck from them (the 2nd time), I am losing gas milage and there is now a rattle coming from under the truck that is especially noticeable during idle and shifting. I have attempted emails, phone calls, and no response. I have even called Chevrolet Corporate and they are as useless as the dealership. I dropped off my 2023 ZL1 Camaro for warranty issues a gas line and a faulty steering box , the car was there three and a half weeks I wish I would have looked under the hood they cut my blinker line and as a other mechanic before started to fix the blinker line showed me what Boniface hears service department did to my car , they fixed the main issue but to get to the main issue they cut up sawed off a bunch housing on the inside underneath the left of my hood the air intake plastic sawed off rubber covers over parts to keep from corrosion left flaps of rubber they cut hanging and close the hood on top of maybe a wrench they left inside the motor dented the hood upwards so beware before you take your car home inspect not just the body open up your hood and look inside the engine compartment guess they got frustrated couldn't get to the part needed to be fixed so they just cut up a bunch of rubber plastic and housings thinking it wouldn't be noticed ? Well until the blinker stopped working they also cut the blinker line it was hanging by a thread beware bringing your car to this establishment my car was there 3 weeks and wouldn't have noticed this damage but because they cut the blinker line which now I see the damage the car has not been anywhere else but Boniface hears in Melbourne do not bring your car there to be fixed even if you are under warranty bring it to another Chevy place it's going to take thousands of dollars to fix this damage to my ZL1 Camaro they no longer make do not bring your car to Boniface hears in Melbourne bad Shawty service department read more

A while ago I took my car here for an oil change. It took over 3 hours WITH an appointment. Today I took my car to get an oil change somewhere else today and they found a nest in my engine. The issue is I found a black walnut in the nest. A nut that is native to Connecticut (where I relocated from 18 months ago). Which means the nest was there when I went to get my oil change at Boniface Hiers and they did not tell me!!!! Additionally, at BH they tried to sell me on basically everything they could on a car I have put less than 15k miles on in 3 years. AND now I get frequent junk mail from them. No stars if I could! This my experience with BH Chevy....I'm a disabled veteran & purchased several cars over the phone in the past. In Feb 2021, I attempted to buy 3 cars at the Chevy location on US1. My sales guy was a super kind, handsome young man & had just had a baby. I really wanted to close these deals for him b cuz I figured it would be a nice kick bk to him. The sales mgr got involved (I guess that's what procedure is) & I found him to b very harsh & non caring. I did not feel my requests were too over the top. By that I mean, something I'd requested in past deals (not there) but not unreasonable. I requested to deal w/someone else...I'm told it was the dealer mgr but did not get his name. I was so upset & almost in tears from the behavior I received...I just hung up & told everybody go look elsewhere. I ended up making deals & receiving the best service - all the way across the state at a Jeep dealer (purchased an 80th anniversary LUX) - & I NEVER set foot in the building. They even delivered it to me! Why can't your dealer ships work like that. We also bought a new Cadillac XT5 & a Mustang. I spent some $...maybe that's chump change to you guys...idk. About a week after, I received a call from Chevy Hiers & the man identified himself as the dealer Mgr & he gave me his name, apologized profusely & said pls find me when you need your next vehicle...I want to make this right w/u to gain your business. Now while I realize THIS particular vehicle is a used car for less than $20k, but in todays world when cars r not b n bought b cuz ppl r doomsday prepping & holidays upon us & kids need gifts - I truly did not expect to hear that. I have been trying to talk my sig other into a new Z71 & even one for my parents (& then we could give the kids one of our SUV's)...but I'm sitting here in tears & so taken back by the rude staff that these places have in their employ. I just thought AJ would like to know that I've been chased off a 3rd time & I was looking for that used Ford & 2 Z71's...they were so nasty about the used car, I didn't even want to look at y'all's Z71's! Very hurt...want to contact the VA to see if I can post something somewhere to forewarn these good ppl (who have already been jerked around in life) about how they will b treated at all of your locations. I called 3 others this morning just saying "good morning, how r u today? May I speak to AJ pls?" To have 2 of the 3 instantly snap bk at me w/a chuckle under their breathe "he's not here!" One even followed it up with..."& even if he was, he don't take calls...he would NOT b taking yours!" She didn't know who I was. I am left to assume that AJ knows of this behavior & he is ok with it? Flabbergasted! Thought someone should know that they cost AJ to lose almost $150k now. I'm not gonna end by wishing you continued success, as I usually do after a conversation like this b cuz I don't wish that. I have a taste in my mouth & id almost rather go buy a damn new AUDI suv & stick em in that to drag kids & animals around in b cuz I just don't care anymore. At least at Audi they like the color of my $. That's my experience here! BEWARE KIND HARD WORKING PPL B4 U SPEND UR MONEY HERE!! Saw a truck on their website that I was interested in. Clicked the check availability box and it said it was available. I assumed someone would contact me but silence. I went back on their website and found a contact us link and I sent them an email asking about the truck. AGAIN...SILENCE! Heard nothing from them! I've learned over the years to email dealers rather than call as I like to have things in writing. These clowns can't even answer an email. In all honesty, after reading the reviews on here, I'm kinda glad they didn't have the courtesy to respond. No biggie. Lots more Chevy dealers out there that know what customer service is and actually want to sell a vehicle. read more

There are many places I can start w how awful this dealership is. We'll go w customer service, since that's the most recent problem I've had. I tried called them to find out about the warrantee in actively paying for. Kept getting cut off and transferred to an answering service. Not wanting to leave a message over a pressing matter, I called back. The same operator sent me over to the department where an employee answered, asked me what he problem was, and then said, "ok hold on" and then HE transferred me to a message service. So I left one. Hadn't heard back in about 2 hours so I called back. Same operator. I asked to speak to a manager, she asked which one. I told her warrantee? Tire? Idc any of them. I get sent to you guessed it, an answering service. Haven't heard anything since. This was yesterday. The place is never busy but they claim to always be swamped. This is the 3rd issue I've called about and none of them have been resolved. I bought a 2023 malibu. I can't wait to pay off and never do business w this place again. ​ read more

When out shopping for a mid-sized truck I had the pleasure of working with Dave Jacobs as my Salesman. He was a joy to work with while picking out the truck I wanted. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. I really enjoyed how he asked a lot of questions about what I wanted in a truck. I enjoyed the Colorado Z71's however after a couple test drives he made me realized that I really didn't need all the extras the Z71 included. I really was only looking for a WT with some extra add ons. Dave Helped me come to this conclusion which was nice. I like how he didn't push the more expensive truck.
