I've been using Bonjour Cleaners for over a year. They are excellent at dry cleaning and laundering and at good prices. So good.

Unfortunately, I have to say it's not the best place! Do not recommend this place because of customer service failures. I had a pants for a zipper repair. I explained the hooks brake. First the lady told me without checking the problem it's need a new zipper. I wasn't sure this is the case but I agreed. I left my pants. A week later I picked my pants and she told me it was a hook only and I saved money. I was happy because the price was only $4. Paid cash and left happily. Few hours later my phone was ring showing the cleaners calling me. I was on a meeting and did not had a chance to answer. But she called me again and again desperately like no tomorrow! So I left the meeting to see what happened and what so important. She told me she don't know if she given me the right pants back and I need to check. I had the pants with me in the office so I checked it right away. It was a right pants. She told me somebody had a same problem but my pants was needed a full zipper replacement and she stated she made a mistake and change me wrong. I owe additional $12!! I need to go back to pay the balance! I told her when I dropped my pants I explained it could be the hook is the problem not the whole zipper. When I picked up my pants she told me I was right. But few hours later she called me and now the whole situation changed! It's not about the $12 of course! I have that money to pay. But if this was a good business and customer oriented, focused then won't make a big deal of this situation. First she would take a responsibility of her mishap and she should call me to explain the mistake she made and say sorry for bothering you with this I just want to inform you about my mistake. No additional payment required and we waived the amount due to our mistake and love to have you a satisfied customer! Instead she called me and pushed me to go back ASAP and pay the $12 immediately. What a bad experience. They make me feel I run away without the right payment and with somebody else pants! How it is my mistake? No! This is not a friendly place! Okay, so I tend to be biased toward any and all Middle Eastern establishments because my boyfriend is Middle Eastern and I have been thrown head-first into the culture but that aside; Bonjour is a trusted dry cleaners. They have terrific hours open until 7 M-F and 5 on Saturdays which is much later than the usual cleaners which barricade their doors at 5pm sharp. Bonjour cleaned two of my boyfriends nice dress shirts and they were returned sparkling clean and amazingly pressed. They didn't smell too fresh (I almost caught a hint of smoke) but I may be imagining it. She cares about the details and is genuinely passionate about clothing and making sure things are taken care of well. There is a really nice family field to the store. I recently took three pair of pricey slacks to get dry cleaned. As I got home I noticed one of the slacks seemed to look burned. The fabric was thick rather than silky and the pants were no longer wearable. I went back to the cleaners and asked for an explanation. Not a refund, just an explanation. It was complete denial and they blamed the manufacturer, granted the other pants were from the same manufacturer and the same fabric. I was told to return to the store and get my money back there. I had 3 zippers replaced, they did a great job. They worked fast, and for a great price. I believe that the things other people here have considered rude or short, may just be misunderstandings. I asked for prices for zipper replacement, the woman said that she couldn't give an exact price quote over the phone. I explained that I'd never had alterations done professionally, and that I didn't know anything about the price range, even, and she explained much more fully the process of zipper replacement and why it was hard to give an exact price (type of zipper, condition of fabric surrounding the zipper, what was actually wrong w the zipper, whether it had to be replaced or just repaired...). I met the old man when I took my items in. He wasn't as talkative as she was, but he was great. he looked at the items, gave me a quote, and said he'd have them finished in 2 days. I think the man is just old and efficient, not rude or mean. He was friendly, but not overbearing about it. I believe he doesn't want to hear a bunch of trivial excess about the why and who of what you have going on, he just wants to fix your sh*t. He's old, he's great at alterations, just give him your stuff and don't take it personally. When I picked up my items, they were BEAUTIFUL. I don't have dry cleaning... never have so i know nothing about it... or it's price. What i do have (all the time) is broken pants. faulty zippers and legs too long (cuz i'm short). So i went to bonjour based on 1. it's proximety to my house and 2. the yelp reviews. I had never had pants repaired before because years of them breaking taught me to just buy cheap pants so i don't get upset when i have to get rid of them. A friend of mine does wardrobe for tv and gave me a really expensive pair of pants (over $100) so when after only 6 months of having them they zipper broke i was pretty upset. even though it wasn't me out the 100 bucks i still felt like if you're gonna charge that much for pants sew the zipper in better. (in their defense i do have a labor intensive job that's rough on all my clothes). So i went on a limb and decided to see if this place could fix my zipper... i went in the older guy was there and he said $8 2days. I said ok and came back in 2 days. $8 later (no tax or it's included in the quote) i had pants with a zipper that worked (and now 3 years later has outlasted other aspects of the pants). I've since returned for more zippers on even my cheaper $20 pants as well as hem-jobs on pants i find that fit with the exception of being long and the hems are professional looking and they even go so far as to match the zippers to the clothes (black pants get black zippers grey get grey etc.) The cash only thing is a bummer since i never have cash but the prices are so low i was able to pay with the singles i had and change from my car before. I can't speak to if they are rude or not as i've never really hung out with them. I just go in drop things off and pick them off. I did see an older lady customer going ape shit trying to describe the alterations she needed to the older guy once (it sounded like she had gone elsewhere before and was unhappy and he was supposed to be fixing whatever happened) the older guy didn't seem to mind that he was getting yelled at in advance and threatened as it if he made the same mistakes some other person did. he just kinda stood there and took it until she gave him the dress and left. so in terms of keeping his cool with a crazy person they do ok. The lady that works there is always nice to me in that she smiles when i come back from inevitably forgetting to bring cash and having to run to 7-11 to use the atm. So I go this morning and my shirts are ready but not my pants, so the guys tells me to come after 3 and the pants will be there. So I come after 3 and my pants are still not there. So I end up coming for a 3rd time to pick up my clothes. I went to them with 2 pair of pants and 4 shirts. I told the lady I talked to laundry, not dry cleaning, with light starch. Got ticket and came back at appointed time. Another lady took my ticket. My shirts were not ready. I found this out as she came to the front with my shirt and was using a steam iron to remove wrinkles on shirt collar. No problem, things happen. Then she returns with another one of my shirts and does the same thing on this shirts collar and she even laid the shirt down to spray starch a sleeve or body of shirt and iron. I said I will come back when the order is ready. I came the next day. The lady that was fixing my shirts the day before was there, took my ticket and brought me my clothes. I asked the total and she said $24. $24?? She charged me $4 per item for laundered clothes not dry cleaning. I didn't argue. Paid my bill and am not going back. read more

I've been going here for a year, and my husband since 2008. Madlyn even once opened the store up for me so I could pick up my alterations on an outfit before leaving on a trip. They are lovely people, and go above and beyond.
