DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! NEVER AGAIN will I take my business here and I will make sure to warn any and everybody about this place after the way they treated me this past Saturday. I had gone to this place two different times - once earlier this year and I was happy with how they hemmed my black slacks, so I decided to return past Tuesday to take in 4 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of slacks, and a sweater for alterations. When I stopped by to pick up my clothes that following Thursday, I paid and left per usual. I got home to review the alterations and man, the job was so sloppy, my slacks had two holes at the bottom AND they were left much longer than I requested leaving me to have to go back to get them altered again. I tried on all pieces of clothing at the business the Tuesday that I dropped off my clothes so I am not sure how they messed this one up. Well, I called on Friday and Greg answered the phone. I kindly let him know that all bottoms except for the sweater were done wrong. He let me know to take in the pieces of clothing that were done wrong when I had time so they could take a look. Keep in mind, that would be my 3rd time stopping by within the week it takes me 20 minutes to drive there from my home, but I had no problem showing up and pointing out the work that was done wrong because I didn't want them to think I was ripping them off or being dishonest. I let him know that I would go in that Saturday morning and he said that was fine. Well, to my surprise, I went in to a very aggravated women (the lady that does the alterations, Greg's mother) ready to go off on me the moment I was about to speak. I showed her my slacks and she accused me of the damage and repeatedly asked me "how did these holes get here?? How did these get here, huh?? That was not me!!" I was like WOAH. I reassured them both that I didn't want to cause any issues or come off as problematic, but no matter what I said or how calmly I explained that to them they both decided to team up and argue with me. She started speaking to her son, Greg, in a different language, continued to tell me things and argue versus coming up with a solution. They offered to fix the work, but I kindly refused because 1. I didn't want to risk ruining my new clothes more than they were already and 2. I didn't want to do business with them based off how horrible they acted with me. I let them know that I would pay for the sweater that was done right, but I wanted a refund for all jeans and my slacks because I needed to take them somewhere else to get altered/corrected. They both got so extremely upset with me, grabbed my clothes, and told me that they were going to remove every little stitch that they did. I was left looking like a deer in freaking headlights, could not believe that business owners were acting this way. She and Greg continued to tell me things as she was ripping off every stitch from my jeans. I let Greg and her know that I couldn't believe what was happening and that I was left with my body shook up from the altercation. She then proceeded to tell me things even after I let them know that I didn't feel comfortable with how they were handling things, clearly distressed and shocked, but that didn't stop them. She said she was "offended" and that in her "whole 27 years of business this has never happened". YET, I go on YELP reviews and clearly this is not the first time this happened. Halfway through removing the stitching from my jeans, I told them they could do what they needed, but I needed to leave. Greg grabbed my jeans and threw them at me. I grabbed my clothes and walked out while he yelled something at me on my way out. I drove off and had to pull over from how shook up I was from this. Never have I ever experienced something like this before!!!! BEWARE PEOPLE. Horrible people to do business with!!! What a nightmare!! I went to another alteration business right after, and I felt such relief as they were able to fix my clothes same day and at a reasonable price. LEAVE THIS BUSINESS. read more

I've been looking for an affordable place to get my formal wear dry cleaned and I found this place nearby. I think it's a great value without breaking the bank, love that. However, it is quite slow. 2 dress shirts took about a week to dry clean. But everything came out good. NEVER BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE FOR ALTERATIONS!!!!! I brought a couple of my jeans here to get altered and they cut over one of my denims that is a $200 jeans. So I came back to ask if they can fix this mistake because I know this happened here, because I definitely did not bring the jeans in like this. I came in calmly and asked them if they can fix this, because this happened when I brought it in, and the woman got so aggressive and defensive, so I walked out because I did not feel comfortable, and at that point there was no fixing this problem. It would've been such a quick and easy fix for them, and it would've been resolved, but they were just really nasty the way they handled the situation. Greg comes to the rescue once again!!! I normally use them for all my dry cleaning needs but this time I needed a copy of a key I broke. I had been to two locksmiths and both said they couldn't make a copy of the broken key and I felt defeated with nowhere to turn. At that moment I remembered my guy Greg makes keys as well so I called him and explained my situation and he was extremely helpful and polite and told me to come in b/c he was willing to try. A few days later I stopped by after work and he was able to work his magic on the broken key in which he easily was able to copy it. He even assured me that if it didn't work he would try again. It's really simple. I had a new sport jacket that needed the sleeves shortened a bit. I called Greg's. Greg said bring it in and he'd be able to do it in one day. I'm still trying to find a good place to do my dry cleaning and alterations in the north Hollywood area. Decided to give this place a try. Came back with some good pieces and devastating pieces. I had a pink blazer altered so the sleeves could be shortened and they were made too short also had a beautiful wool skirt with leather trim cleaned and the leather got beat to hell and they gave me the skirt on a hanger with BOBBY PINS through the leather. I am VERY dissatisfied with the recent service I received here. Not only do they have to send out for your garments to get cleaned and have no control over the process, but it also takes longer than going to a direct dry cleaner. I took my faux fur pillows here a few weeks back. They were starting to look matted and dirty. They also had an unclean smell to them. When I went to pick up the pillows, they were in a bag, but still looked grey and matted and had little grey fabric particles stuck to them. I told them I was unsatisfied and that they looked the same. They told me they would send my pillows out once more and that they would be ready in a week. Well, when I went to pick them up, they were laying on the floor. The owner said he didn't put them into a bag so that they wouldn't matt...they looked and smelled exactly the same! Still dirty, matted and unfresh! When my fiancé got home, he asked why they weren't cleaned and that they looked exactly the same!!! I was not the only one. Mind you, the cleaning cost was $10 a pillow!!!! This is absurd and now I have to go find another cleaner to actually clean them and dish out more money. Save yourself time and money and DO NOT come to this establishment for your dry cleaning needs. OH, and did I mention that they only take cash if Greg isn't physically there.
