This place Is a 2 minute walk from my apartment and I couldn't be happier. The environment is super cozy and the perfect place to catch up with a friend. As soon as i walked in, I was seated right away and the service was super quick. My friend and I were always being checked in on. I also loved that they are experimenting with new food on the menú and not just sticking with traditional viet.

Went here late on Memorial Day at 9, there were a few people but it was mostly cleared out. The service was fine, the place is decorated pretty nicely. As for the food, both were fine but could be better. The noodles were a little mushy in the pho. They didn't give us soup spoons and the ones given were tiny, like for coffee. Wouldn't go back personally. Pho Combo - 6.5/10 Rice Plate - 7

Have you ever been sitting at dinner and became curious at what's really going in the back of the house?! Well, tonight I had the pleasure of having dinner & stumbling upon a speakeasy! We were eating our food and kept seeing people come in and sit down then walked to the back of the restaurant. After a few times we asked what was in the back and low & behold it was a beautiful speakeasy behind a secret door of lockers. I've always heard of a speakeasy but never actual saw one! The ambiance of the back of the house is 10/10 for sure.

I normally finish my pho, but only had half. I got the combination pho. For those that love the savory broth with ample savor, you may enjoy this a lot. For my taste, the soup was too greasy. The meat seemed a bit overcooked or not fresh. In the end, there were a lot of noods and meat left. My friend got a bowl of some kind and enjoyed it a lot. She was also very hungry, and finished it in like 10mins. Will give that a try next time. :) Service was quick and even though we stayed there a long time, the staff were very polite and only checked in a few times, leaving us to chat and catch up. It was a pretty quiet spot, and not very busy so it served our purpose well. :)

I came in on a Sunday for lunch and had high hopes for this place since I am Vietnamese. Unfortunately this place was a major disappointment. The only reason it even received two stars was because the server/host was very friendly and kind to us plus I enjoyed the atmosphere. My husband Vietnamese ice coffee with condense milk was bitter, his pho was missing ingredients (he asked for two types of protein but only received one) and for my bowl of vermicelli the egg roll was spoiled plus the included bean sprouts in the bowl even though I specifically requested no bean sprouts. We didn't make a fuss about it ,but this will be our first and only visit to this restaurant since there are plenty of other Vietnamese restaurant that is cheaper and does it better.

Pho broth is very flavorful, very good quality of meat and service was superb. Walked in to a self seating restaurant, waiter came up to us within a minute. Took our order and we received our pho within 3 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant is very calming and peaceful. The place is very clean and well managed. I will definitely come back whenever I'm in the area again.

Love the lights in this cute restaurant.

New to The Junction - Bonjour Vietnam was a winner tonight. I had the short ribs vermicelli bowl and my husband had the prawn vermicelli bowl. Wow! The short ribs are special. Very generous protein portions. Check out this cute restaurant and support a new business. And: To the three people who used the restaurant as a walk-thru--probably from Beer Junction; how rude! It's not Bee's anymore. Jeez....

Service is exceptionally fast and was sat immediately - the staff are very kind. I did not take a picture of it but I ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and shrimp fresh rolls to go after my visit. They were both very flavorful and I recommend anything off their menu - it's delicious and worth the effort to dine in but not the right place if you want to chit chat and dilly dally. Fast forward a year later to a Sunday at 12:30pm and I finally made the long drive here without going through Aurora Ave since my GPS randomly decided to give my road rage some grace. This place has plenty parking around the perimeter, so it was easy settling in. Only confusion was finding the entrance to this place, but when I did I was actually surprised where I was stepping into. Inside is laid back and cool with plenty of seating for groups of various sizes. There's tables and booths, and I got booth seating for myself when I walked in. There's a TV playing sports nearby where I was, and Vietnamese pop music was playing in the background too. Menu consists of regular foods in most Vietnamese restaurants, though their provincial noodle soups and banh mi sandwiches caught my eye. They even have bún măng vịt (duck and bamboo shoot noodle soup), my favorite that I gotta try next time I come here! From my IG feeds and as a starting point, I got their bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich), which comes with all the works of a regular banh mi sandwich, though I was kinda surprised how brightly orange the grilled pork was. Regardless, it was tasty and the meat was juicy. The pork pate added a nice savory touch to the sandwich, and no other condiment was in excess that it took away taste from the flavorful grilled pork. Staff was very kind throughout, and refilled my water every now and then. It was also nice chatting with one of them about our day and other recommendations from the menu. We got the banh uot tower with heo quay, banh khot, banh mi chao, and com tam. I see the appeal of the eye catching banh uot tower, but unfortunately I felt like it was very mediocre. I felt like the portion of veggie and meat wasn't enough for all the rice rolls, plus the actual heo quay was dry with barely any crispy skin. I think they also forgot to give us the heo quay because we had to ask for it much after the banh uot came out. I would skip this next time. I would also skip the banh khot as it was on the softer, chewier side when my personal preference is light and crispy. Those who do like it soft will definitely enjoy it though. As for flavor, it had an extremely prominent coconut taste- it usually isn't so strong in banh khot so I wasn't so fond of this. My family did really enjoy the com tam and banh mi chao. I only had one bite of each, but I would get these items again. Their drinks on the other hand, were delightful. I got the tamarind black tea and my step dad got the lychee green tea.
