Be aware that the color of the flowers you might receive in an arrangement may not be the same or even similar to the colors you see in the on line pictures when you place your order. I understand substitions may need to be made but then it might change the overall primary colors of the bouquet you were expecting. I was not prepared for the obvious difference in the overall color so therefore was disappointed in the order. When I sent a photo over to the flower shop, Customer service did offer to resend another bouquet in exchange but I think that would be awkward on the person sending the flowers but most of all for the recipient of the flowers. I do think that if they can't match the color scheme from the on-line picture that a customer should be informed beforehand. With tax and delivery charge they are not inexpensive. read more

No vase to hold them in. They are holiday flowers. I have no vase to put them in for the table. I'm disappointed that they arrived like that. I received other flowers that came in holiday vase to hold them in on table for nicer presentation. These are pretty holiday flowers that I can't put in a vase that are sitting in a box. Decided to support a local florist when sending my sister a just-because bouquet, and I went with Bonnie's because it had same-day delivery. Except that it didn't deliver that day, and the flowers were arrived two days later. Okay. Things happen & the shop notified me of the problem. My sister will still get a beautiful bunch of flowers, right? Well, she just sent me a picture of the flowers she got, and I'm pretty disappointed that I paid $70 for carnations, daisies, and two sunflowers. Where are the roses and pompons that are listed in the description for an arrangement of that size?? I'm so disappointed in the quality & experience. I got married last month, and Bonnie's did my flowers. I couldn't be happier. In the months preceding, I had spoken to three florists who quoted me outrageous prices for such an intimate event, and then told me they "didn't have room" to do my wedding. I panicked, asked around, and called here on a recommendation. Best decision ever. I met with Bruce, who is about as nice as people get these days. I had an idea of what I wanted, but it was Bruce who put my ideas together and made it look fantastic. It was so easy -- and extremely well priced! The centerpieces were beautiful. Simple purple hydrangeas (I wanted white, but Bruce suggested to go with purple since the white would be too much white with the white tablecloths.) My bouquet was the thing that blew everyone away, though. It was gorgeous, gigantic and actually heavy. It cost next to nothing compared to the other quotes I received. The day of our wedding, it was pouring, and we couldn't take our portraits. We set up the shoot about two weeks later, and I called Bruce and explained my situation, wanting to see if replicating my husband's boutonniere was possible (with only an hours' notice) and Bruce came to the rescue. He not only made my husband's boutonniere, but when I showed up, he had a bouquet ready for me too, because "you can't take wedding photos without a bouquet." Scoop my jaw off the floor, please. I brought in pictures and he created exactly what I wanted while steering me in the best direction in terms of what is in season and what would hold up well in the July heat. When you walk in, it's not a fancy schmancy shop, but don't let that deter you... they do great work and they are super fun to work with and most importantly, their flowers are gorgeous. LOVE. THIS. FLORIST. I got married April 5th and based on a friend's referral, I gave Bonnie Flower Shop a call to do some info gathering. I LOVE this florist. LOVE LOVE LOVE! My mother and I went in and met with Bruce, showed him swatches of the bridesmaid dresses, and showed him pictures of bouquets I liked. He was so nice. He was totally honest. And extremely helpful. We decided on a gorgeous peach/coral/pink color scheme with springy tulips and roses and even peonies. He also pointed us in the direction of a lovely centerpiece with floating flowers (daises) in peach/pink tones. Our boutineers were peach/coral roses. Bruce told us to return in a week to see what he had in mind for my flowers. So a week later we returned and he put together what he had in mind for the bouquets. OMG. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!!! The bouquet was more beautiful than any photo I had shown him. The colors were breathtaking and springy and perfect!!! He even sent me home with a bouquet! His prices were SO unreal. SO affordable and reasonable. I'm telling you- GO TO BRUCE AT BONNIE FLOWER SHOP. Go. Now. On our wedding day Bruce out did himself. The bridal bouquets that we ordered also came accompanied with a "throw" bouquet. We got additional boutineers, additional centerpieces, and he even made us a GORGEOUS floral arrangement for our gift table. Seems like every time I get flowers delivered to me - they are from Bonnie's- which is odd since there are lots of other florists closer to my house. Get well soon bouquets? I have been a recipient of many of these. I have had the whole range- from the get well soon chicken soup bowl bouquet to the mega gazillion dozen roses and Casablanca lily extravaganza. Either way- fresh flowers are wonderful! The latest round of pick me ups came from Bonnie's. My office sent them to me. What a nice gesture! I know how much we spend on these, and let me say, it is not much (especially now that it is time to tighten the belt). When I got home from the hospital, I had a BEAUTIFUL bouquet of Iris, white lilys, and a few Gerber daisys. I was really pleased. The mix of flowers, colors and heights was done RIGHT! I will say that they have not lasted for very long. I have only had them for 3 days, some of the iris are blown and the lilies are crying. However, I am guessing that the freshness of the flowers is what allowed me to have such a fabulous looking piece. SO.. if you are looking for something spectacular for a day or two... this is your place! Just don't count on them to last too long. read more

I thought I would give a small business a try instead of using a big corporation. Boy what a mistake!! I ordered some flowers to get delivered to a business for Monday, So I decided to order online on a Sunday afternoon. I thought by doing so my flowers would be on the first orders for Monday since I placed the order on a Sunday afternoon. It was Monday afternoon and the person had NOT received their flowers! I called and spoke with a person named Bruce he put me on hold while he contacted his delivery person and check on the status on the delivery. Bruce then told me his delivery person was not responding and that he assured me that the flowers were going to be delivered. That would have not been a problem if it was 30 more minutes left for the person who I wanted the flowers delivered working shift to end!! I was so upset, Bruce then told me that the flowers I had ordered they did not have in stock, and that it took them all morning to get the flowers I wanted. He also told me why I had not clicked on the option of delivery time on the website? and why I did not select a second choice of flowers? Really?? I was the blame now for their mistake, for their terrible website! First off there was NO option of time one can select because I would have selected early morning since the person who I wanted to give the flowers worked very very early. Also there is no option on selection a second choice of flowers!! Hello I would I have selected it!! why not?? However there site did ask for my phone number, why did anybody contact me?? I asked Bruce why did anyone contact me to tell me that the flowers were out of stock and if I wanted to go with a second choice. He had no response for me, I then ask for my money back. He did not even offer to have them delivered somewhere else, he was just was okay with giving back my money, he had no solution for me all he said was I am sorry. Yeah I am just as sorry in giving this business a shot, and ruining the surprise I had for my significant other. Bruce, the owner, really gave me a great price on our flowers, and worked with me to do a special arrangement that took some special research and effort on his part. Unlike other reviewers, I found Bruce funny and pleasant to work with -- he has a real personal touch and a lot of expertice. Unfortunately, Bonnie Flower Shop did not give me the flowers I wanted for my wedding! I had asked for mostly ivory flowers with a few antique/dusty pinks and yellows thrown in. What I got were hot pink and lavender flowers delivered to my church and reception. I know that I made clear that I did not want ANY bright colors whatsoever. Although my flowers still looked great (they were pretty for what they were), they weren't what I asked for! However, I would still recommend Bonnie Flowers. Their prices are consistently about 40% lower than other florists, and I think there must have just been some fluke miscommunication. Oh well. read more

Flowers were not very high on our priority list for our wedding, and I was having a difficult time finding a florist within our modest budget...until I met Bruce at Bonnie Flower Shop. Bruce listened to what we wanted and gave suggestions on types of flowers that would work with our budget and cornflower blue-white theme. He gave us an estimate that was even less than our budget! We were very happy with the price and the flowers at the church and reception. I loved my bridal bouquet of white flowers (dahlias, japhet orchids, anemones), and blue delphinium flowers. Overall the service was great, but there were several areas where attention to detail was lacking. After our initial meeting, we arranged for another meeting to see sample centerpieces. At that meeting, he did not have all of the flowers available to see so we had to come back later that month (his store is about 30-45 mins away from us). Bruce did apologize, but it was still inconvenient for us to come back. With regards to the contract, two items were included which we didn't need: a throw away bouquet and a ring bearer pillow. Although we were not charged extra, we had told Bruce to remove them, but we were sent them anyway (a waste). On the day of the wedding, we were only sent 2 flower girl bouquets instead of the 3 we ordered. I was able to reach Bruce, who immediately sent the missing bouquet to the hotel. I would recommend Bonnie Flower Shop for their reasonable prices and flexibility. read more

When I first spoke to them on the phone, I was impressed by how nice and accommodating they were. I actually spoke with the owner (Bruce), the first time. It wasn't until later that I realized how horrible this flower shop was. I had ordered flowers for my girlfriend's birthday, which they didn't actually attempt delivery of until AN ENTIRE DAY LATER. Moreover, they didn't contact me to let me know that she wasn't home for the flowers to be delivered until late that day (after a time when they could not attempt to redeliver them). Finally, despite upgrading to the "Deluxe" package for over $50 (plus delivery and tax), the flowers looked like something I could have bought at Jewel for $20. They looked cheap, did not remotely fill the vase, and appeared to have been partly damaged on one side. I am not one to complain, but I urge you to reconsider ordering from this location. Next time, I will use 1-800-FLOWERS or visit a store where I can see the flowers myself beforehand. read more

He is an individual that you either like or may have mixed feeling about. He provides a strong opinion, and is to the point. He is not out to coddle anyone. He knows his flowers and offers some great ideas. I really enjoyed working with Bruce. We did have one guy's boutineer missing, but it was too late to do anything about. Also, we specifically asked the bride's bouquet not to have the plastic handle, but it came with it. The bride was fine with it. These are the reasons why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. My father ordered me flowers from FTD.com for my birthday and Bonnie's was the flower shop that fulfilled the order. When my father saw what was delivered, he was extremely upset as the flower arrangement was half the size of what the picture showed. We understand you can substitute flowers, but when you give half the flowers the order calls for, that is not acceptable. My father called FTD.com to explain his frustration and they told him they would refund his money. All this unknown to me, I get a call from Bonnie's Flower Shop the next day saying the purchaser has complained and they need to come pick up my flowers. Pick up my flowers? Who does that? So the delivery guy came and picked up my flowers and now I don't have any flowers from my dad for my birthday. I have been in the service industry for over 15 years and when the company does not deliver the service it was suppose to provide, you own the mistake and move on. You do not inconvenience the customer, especially since it was a gift, and take it back. I honestly was so disappointed and heartbroken over this.
