My husband and I try to bring our dogs out here every weekend. There are a good amount of paved trails, and the entire park is really well maintained. The main loop goes around a lake, then some sports fields, a playground and a dog park, so there's always a lot going on. The dog park there is huge and there are always a ton of dogs out playing.

    Beautiful, shaded, park

This park has so many amenities! There are different parks for your kids to have fun. One of the parks is completely shaded with beautiful trees. The workout area is nice. The walking/bike trails are in abundance and clear of debris.

A beautiful park in the neighborhood, has everything covered for everyone. Has a stadium, trails for walk and bike, a beautiful pond where you can sit and picnic. A playground for kids which has swings, ziplines, spiderweb, and also a small rock climbing not the typical one though. On the other side they have a gym with instructions on the wall, spacious and is under the roof but opened up! On the other side has a covered stage for performance or an event, really a beautiful park to hang out. We did a small picnic, packed some food and drinks and spent a longtime here. This is a really huge park with ample parking space and can do a bunch of different things. Of all, my most favorite one was the walking path around the pond. Wish it was much closer to home so I could hang out with kids more often.

This park is incredible! It has everything! It has something fun for all ages, including multiple places for kids to play, a pond, biking and walking trails, jungle gyms, an outdoor fitness center and sport fields! Definitely coming back here.

I bring my dog here to the dog park. I love all the trees for shading. It's very large for running and playing. They have several kiddie pools and water park for the dogs to play in and drink from.

    Such an awesome park!

This park is one of the best in the area! A good length trail that's wide enough for strollers, runners, skateboarders, and bicyclists. The trail is cement all the way around. There are some off path areas in the grass that bicyclists have gone through. The dog area is wonderful! A lot of kiddie pools placed under the water fountains so the dogs can drink and splash! Each area is gated separately so you can keep your dog contained in one area. There's a big fenced in area with picnic tables, benches, and a huge running space for the pups. The picnic tables are even placed in the shade! I have seen a few dumb people bring their dog in on leash (that's obviously not a friendly dog) and leave them on leash in the off leash areas, expecting that another dog won't come sniff. Well, they're wrong. That's what dogs do. If you don't have a friendly dog, stick to the trail. The off leash park is for well behaved pups that can get along with the crowd. Overall, this is a wonderful place to unwind.

It could go either way rating this great park. I will leave the specifics of that to a later update…read morereview. Today I want to describe why I am here. Passing this park on an out-of-the-way side street for the last two years, I noticed a "workout area" towards the entrance to the park. I made a mental note to stop and check it out but, never did until today. I usually work out daily at the recreation center but, recently due to Omnicron, I've been looking for an interesting outside place to get some exercise. I remembered passing this place and decided to check it out. On pulling up I was initially disappointed. I guess I thought the structure should be bigger, more interesting, more challenging! then I started using it. Bam!!! Hello! I thought I was in decent shape for my age but, boy was I wrong. I couldn't even make it through a few exercises on this "adult playground"!!!! It just shows you can't judge a book by its cover or make assumptions. You have to Do It. this great little outdoor gym known as the Miracle is just that. In a fairly small area, several exercises are demonstrated via placard if you need them. It will wear you out, challenge you in ways you didn't anticipate. I'm so glad I found this outdoor place to exercise in the fresh air at this time. I feel I'm getting a type of physical challenge that I didn't inside a gym. Definite Go!

If you're looking for the gold standard of playgrounds in Frisco (or honestly, anywhere nearby),…read moreHope Park is it. This is hands-down one of the most thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and inclusive parks I've ever visited. The playground is massive, separated into different sections by age group, which is a lifesaver if you have both toddlers and older kids. Everything is built with accessibility in mind ramps, wide pathways, sensory features, musical instruments, and even mini pretend storefronts that spark imaginative play. The rubberized ground covering is such a bonus for safety too soft, clean, and comfortable for little ones learning to navigate the world. There's also a splash pad right next door, which is an absolute magnet on hot Texas afternoons. Shaded picnic tables and benches are scattered throughout the park, making it easy for parents and caregivers to relax without feeling like you have to hover the entire time. What makes Hope Park extra special is the heart behind it. It was created by the Frisco community with the dream of building a place where all children no matter their ability level could play side by side. You can feel that spirit when you're here. It's not just a playground; it's a celebration of inclusion, joy, and togetherness. Pro tip: It can get very busy on weekends, so early mornings or weekday evenings are perfect if you want more space to roam. Parking is plentiful, and restrooms are nearby. Five huge stars!
