Dr. Stephan Barrington is my new dentist and I am so grateful I found him and this office. He and his assistant took great care of me and never seemed rushed or distracted. I was able to get a crown and a filling all in one appointment. The permanent crown is done that day! No waiting weeks with a fragile temporary. The entire staff is great and very good about answering any questions I have. I even received a call today (Saturday) from the Dr. to check and see how I was doing. The dentist seems nice enough but he tells you that you have all kinds of dental issues and then they give you an estimate with billing codes that don't exist and each treatment charge is in the thousands that are mostly not approved by your insurance. GET PRE-APPROVAL FOR EVERYTHING before agreeing to have anything done. Delta Dental Which is heavily lobbied by the American Dental Association will look the other way and will not advocate for you. You will end up paying out of pocket for most of their bogus charges. BEWARE!!

This dentist will scrutinize your insurance and then convince you to have unnecessary procedures so that he can secure as much of your insurance money as possible. For example-he convinced us to redo an already existing crown that had no issues simply because it was old. I questioned him about it, and he admitted that it was not medically necessary. That was the last time my husband and I ever had anything to do with this office. Additionally, his skills are outdated and his equipment is antiquated. His skill level was discovered by my new dentist that was mortified at the quality of his work that she saw when she examined both my husband and my teeth. We have since found a competent dentist, and are astonished at the difference an actual modern, smart, kind dentist is actually like. It is entirely my fault that this happened to me and my husband. I should have been more diligent, less trusting, and more questioning.
