What an experience! Close to where we were staying and great find! Tried the mixed noodle fight for two and a veggie dish. Local micbeer is a plus.

    Boodle fight for four!

Fish n chips bbq shrimp. There was plenty of food and it was a nice clean place. Love seeing all the fresh fish. The view was incredible as well. We went back the Next night too. The service wasn't as good as the night before but the food was still incredible. We had the BBQ shrimp, the chicken soup and of course the calamari lol. Thank you for serving good food.

There are few legitimately owned Filipino businesses in El Nido. Jarace's is one of the few! Your…read moremainstay for all things Filipino food and FRESH seafood. They are located right on the beach in Central El Nido on Rizal Street. Unlike other "Filipino" restaurants around town, you will actually see local Filipino families dining in. That's how you know it's legit! We visited twice while in El Nido. The 1st time around, we pointed at the fresh seafood outside to have it grilled up and served to us upstairs some time later. I had a Unicorn Fish, a sweet, slightly briny white fish native to El Nido. My friend had a fresh Yellowtail and we also opted for the biggest should-be lobster prawn they had. So delicious. The 2nd visit, we watched the sunset from a window side table as a close to our island hopping tours. On said visit, we ordered Sizzling Pork Sisig, Beef Kaldereta, and Crispy Pata. Each dish was absolutely ginormous and automatically comes with rice. The ultimate best value on the island! Yes, dishes such as Crispy Pata and Sisig are on the fluffier/ fattier side but that's what makes it GOOD. Beef Kaldereta was saucier than I am accustomed but I engorged myself in its richness. Keep in mind, dishes are 250-350 PHP but are served as family style portions. Service was hit or miss at least when it came to getting the bill, but you really gotta raise your hand and yell at them -- it is the way, the Filipino way! They are also more likely to cater to the locals first which may contribute to a wait, but with such a beautiful view in paradise and the bustling of the restaurant teeming with people watching opportunities including some adings coming around selling home-made pastillas de leche, there is just so much to distract while you wait the some times 20-30 minutes for your food.

They serve beer, cocktails and some food -- mostly seafood/ Spanish and tapas/ apps. As its name would suggest, this is an easy place to witness the show stopping El Nido sunsets. The square footage of the bar/ restaurant is of a reasonable size with some high top seating looking out towards the ocean under any awning (upstairs and ground level), a few tables, and bar seating. I came a little before sunset for a couple of San Migs to experience the splendor at one of their choice high top chairs looking out to the sea. Front row seats at its finest. Oddly, Filipinos have a strange fascination with deep house which was bumping rather loudly and was off putting to some older gentleman who proceeded to turn down the volume without the permission of the workers. A little slice of paradise is sure to be had here if one chooses smartly just to sip and savor and shut out the rest of the world, especially one of the overprivileged tourist.

This is THE PERFECT place to come to drink, eat, chill and watch the most amazing sunset. I set up my time lapse camera to catch the view and drank my little heart out all the while enjoying tapas and laughing with new found friends! Don't think twice about ordering some munchies as this place is on point with food too!!

The shrimp on the sizzling plate was amazing but it is a chef's special so idk if it'll be here for long. The spicy squid was also delicious and tender. Drinks were strongggg, I asked the waitress what was the strongest lol #NeedThat Doggies will come by and will tell you through telekinesis that they are hungry but if you don't mind animals, then you're fine. Anyway live music is a plus. I also had two shots of don julio Anejo so yes it was a lovely dinner. This is not open 24/7 btw so yelp needs to update their hours

Perhaps a little touristy, but refreshing nonetheless with its lazy seating some of which are swings looking out to beautiful, serene Nacpan Beach. They have eye-catching and refreshing tiki cocktails which they serve in such fun glassware. I had the "More Fun Nacpan" (330 PHP) which was a light, gin-based cocktail made with calamansi juice. This came with a fun cut-out of an orange shaped into a sun! The cocktail was of decent strength but it was most importantly yummy. For food, we ordered the "pork" sizzling sisig and, oddly enough, a Margherita Pizza. The latter seemed to be a big deal with their wood-fired oven in plain view. We actually relished this greatly and, although doughy, I rather enjoyed that extra oomph of yeasty-ness. The sisig, on the other hand, was strange. First off, it was definitely beef and they only dusted something crispy on top. I could not confirm if this was pork skin or what. They had a band playing live music during our stay; some English hits, but Tagalog as well. The best kind of stray dog was begging at our feet while we ate, so cute! You're not a dog lover if their presence bothers you! A nice little spot to relax and escape the sun for a bit. If you need a bathroom, there is one located behind this restaurant as well.
