The location and view from this restaurant are just spectacular. You can spend the whole afternoon, watching boats come and go, or just check out tourist strolling on the beach. And of course, Nido's towering monolithic rocks certainly adds to the atmosphere of awe. The main issue that I have with place is that the food just seemed to be ok. Now, to be fair, this may have more to do with the state of culinary affairs in the Philippines than this restaurant in particular. My Carbonara, like so many other dishes in the Philippines, cried out for seasoning. I tried to bring it back to life with salt, but it just wasn't happening. On the other hand, the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Filipino owned with beachfront views on the back side of the restaurant. There are 2 sides to the restaurant and 2 entrances, so even if there is a wait, it will not be long. The aunties here are incredibly accommodating and QUICK; they really push orders through, simultaneously serving your food hot and fresh. Another restaurant we visited twice and by happenstance since they happened to be open on a Sunday morning, the day of rest. We had Garlic Shrimp and Bistek Tagalog an evening before and some Silog the following morning. The lunch/ dinner entrees are also family style portions here and come with rice. They are ~300-350 PHP for each entree. Bistek was on point and the garlic shrimp was so big and buttery. This is such a steal at 350 PHP. The silog dishes were gratifying. Bigger helping of tasty meat too. Only 1 fried egg, but the garlic rice was unique and delicious. The restaurant is very no frills; they even have a tabo in the bathroom! So Filipino! Experience the best and the most here!
The food is good but but I think our server forgot to put our order in. By the time that the last food order arrived the food in our table was already cold. I took pictures of the initial food items that came but after that I quit because I was already annoyed about the wait Ambiance was egghhhh place was kind of dirty.
Great restaurant for seafood in El Nido, with a beachfront view. We came here for lunch and though there aren't as many options as there is during the dinner hour, we were pleased with our seafood meals. It was quiet on a weekday for lunch service, so being the only table there, we had great and fast service. While my boyfriend ordered the Grilled Marlin Plate I ordered Shrimp Sinigang. It didn't take long for us to get our food. I loved the broth of my Shrimp Sinigang! It was very sour, just like how my mom makes it, so I really enjoyed it. Fresh shrimp was perfectly cooked and there was a lot of shrimp in it. You just have to remember to de-shell the shrimp yourself since that's where all the flavor comes from, so it was messy to eat. But it was worth it. I also liked how much green beans and eggplant were in the dish, too. It was one of the best sinigangs I had while in the Philippines! If you want more options, visit Angel Wish during dinner where they have a stand of fresh seafood that you can select and request however you'd like it to be prepared and cooked. They also open up their tables right out on the beach during the evening, for that beachfront experience that El Nido is known for. We were glad to have checked out Angel Wish during our visit.
Do you know how much we paid for a seafood FEAST and alcohol beverages for 4 people?? Less than $50!! Yes, seriously... Don't even look at the menu - just ask what they have fresh out of the water and tell them how you want it cooked. We've ordered lobsters, crabs, huge shrimp, grouper, and all types of fresh fish. We ate goooooood. Make sure you try the garlic rice! Plus, service is good. The best part is that you can haggle with the guys on the prices. We got our lobsters for less than $10 each! Oh yea, and you're right on the beach.
I only went to 2 restaurants in El Nido, but I was very satisfied with the food here. We ordered some Mussels on a sizzling plate, it was very good. And also this dish called Gamba Shrimp and its was very good and spicy. And also some grilled pork bellies (liempo), this was also very good. The calamaries was just OK. The place wasn't fancy, but I like the authenticity of it.

We had the best meal of our entire trip at Angel Wish! This place was recommended to us by the owner of our hotel. It is on the beach but is not a place that would necessarily catch your eye if you were walking by. I had the fried calamari and then squid ink pasta. Everything was divine! So fresh, so well cooked. The service was good and we sat at the window overlooking the water which was a great experience and perfect way to end the day after island hopping. Highly recommend this place if you are in El Nido! read more
Upon arrival in El Nido, and a short walk from our hotel, we found this front beach resto. The food was delicious. We had seafood chowder, fresh crab, and steamed lapulapu. For dessert, we had fresh buko ( coconut). Service was excellent to say the least. Just a refreshing lunch experience with a front view of the beach and mountains. read more

Thinking this might be the most authentic Filipino place in town. No gimmicks just fresh food and nice people. Three nights in a row we went there. I recommend the chef JoJo fish. It's the fresh catch of the day so it's not the same twice. Sisig is good as well. read more

Great food. Great view. Fun atmosphere. What else can you ask for after spending your day island hopping? My mom and I had dinner her two times while in el nido. Our first night we ate here sitting on the beach front. We had shrimp sinigang and grilled fish. I'm filipino so these flavors are normal for me, but being a balikbayan, I truly taste the freshness of the seafood. Our last night we had dinner here again and sat at the up stairs balcony. I liked sitting here better cos (no offense) but the vendors couldn't come up to us unlike the first time. We had giant garlic shrimp and pork belly barbeque, both very very good and also very high in cholesterol. Lol. So to brake the fat down we had hot calamansi tea with honey. BEST DRINK EVER!! That was probably my favorite part, I love calamansi!! Which I miss very much since we only have lemon and lime here in USA read more

Great food and really fresh. Love how they cook the sizzling squid and sweet and sour lapu lapu. Price is just fair enough for its quality and quantity. Price is about 1700 pesos or around $ 36 including tip and can feed three person. Still with a plate of leftover sizzling squid. read more
