He has impressed me with his kind hearted Ness for everyone who visits his farm. I did not know Brandon at all until we started working together a year and a half ago. We have a crew of young men and they try very hard to get things done. We replaced the roof on the main house and helped get the kitchen refurbished in the small pickle kitchen. We installed a heat pump and the list goes on. I got to spend lots of time with Brandon and his family. I really appreciate the kind nature of him and his family. They treat everyone so very kind and are always happy to see people who stop by . I just wanted to say thank you Brandon for always being patient with my crew and I. Over all place need cleaning and improvement. Maybe more breakers for reliable electricity. I took these pictures on the way out. Apple cider float was amazing! From the bakery, we split the 3/$23 cutie pie deal with friends and got an apple pie and a pumpkin pie. Pumpkin pie wasn't great, but we loved the apple pie! It's a lot of fun but can also be a bit overwhelming- there's a ton to do and see.

The Nash Ranch (NR) is Shasta County's "original" Pumpkin Patch (PP) since 1991. NR is a real working farm that actually grows its own pumpkins, as well as a host of other things (i.e., alfalfa, oats, barley, and bird seed millet). Family farms are hard to hang onto...the costs roll in all year without anything coming in ie water, labor, seed, taxes. And then there is a summer with 119 degree summer days with weeks of triple digits. Pumpkin production is lowered. Despite hardships, Nash Family makes the Ranch work, while still sharing generously with the community.
