If they really wanted to make it easy, adding alphabetical shelf labels would be great. Simple labeling would bump it up to a four star book shop. Other than that, it's a good selection with broad genre coverage.

While the new location is small, it adds to the charm--though it does mean there's no indoor seating. You can enjoy your tea at one of the two outdoor tables, or simply take it to go. The shop is run by two lovely ladies who are not only incredibly knowledgeable about tea but also entertaining and friendly. I make it a point to stop by every month to restock my favorites and explore new blends. Every visit is a fun experience, and I always look forward to returning.

It feels so inviting in there. I love the children's section. All the colors and the wall decor is so fun. I've visited the Starbucks inside the cafe and it's pretty good but the one downside is you can't use the Starbucks app, but I know that's an overall B&N thing and not just this particular site. I do feel that they are typically understaffed and I realize this is a very small cafe but it gets extremely crowded in there and people are not always patient with the staff when they're clearly doing the best they can. My one negative about this B&N is that the black author section is very small and difficult to find. Maybe if it was in the main area more people would gravitate towards that section. Other than that, this is probably one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in a not so great mood and need a pick me up.

I was also in the Cooking section and again a big disappointment. A small middle eastern area. There was a Gaza Kitchen cookbook but I couldn't find a single Jewish holiday cookbook. Not a single Jake Cohen cookbook. They did have one by Eitan Bernath, but his cookbook isn't about Jewish cooking. So really Nothing. I feel this isn't a B&N thing because I get a lot of my Jewish cookbooks at the one near my house.

Open, light, well-organized, with colorful and interesting displays! They are in partnership with Foxy Loxy and there is plenty of space to bring your coffee over, find a table, and discuss ideas and books with friends, or check out something new to read. They had a large variety of fiction, LGBTQ, feminism, children's books, the classics, non-fiction (history, politics, jazz, Black history), biographies and autobiographies (Steve Martin, Mark Twain, and more), classics (American, Greek, and more). They had a Blind Date section, where you get a vague synopsis or profile of a book wrapped in paper and have to buy it "blind," which I always find fun. Books meant to inspire you to think, to be creative, to change your worldview. I bought several cards from here because I love snail mail. Fun and artistic cards with cute phrases, adorable raccoons, rambunctious possums. Staff was helpful and friendly. Right in the heart of the Starland district, meaning lots of independent boutiques, eateries, coffee shops, and cool art/architecture nearby.

The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Instead, there were only a few macarons, maybe one sandwich option, and the café itself was...pretty much nonexistent. The retail side also felt a little underwhelming. The space is nice, but a lot of the merchandise was sourced from vendors you commonly see at the larger merchandise markets, so it didn't feel as unique or curated as we expected. That said, we're still glad we stopped in if you're nearby. It just didn't quite live up to the experience we had imagined
