This store has absolutely everything from comic books, collectibles, MTG/TCG, D&D items and books, Warhammer, and also board games. Honestly if you are into any of those then this place is the place to come to. The absolute widespread level of inventory is only matched by how friendly the staff is and how comfortable of an environment they've created to spend your time there. They even put on events on nearly a daily basis depending what you're into. Pricing is very reasonable and I do majority of my shopping here as it is extremely competitive with online pricing. Not to mention being able to find the product that you're looking for locally is hard to find for most shops. The gameplay areas of the store are clean, tidy, and do not smell (yes... we know the stereotype of hobby shops). Plus they're always willing to spend the time to explain and help you get into any of the games they sell. I haven't played MTG for decades since I was a child and they were so kind to take me thru the differences from what I knew then to the large and vast game that it has become. They also make it simple to sign up on their website for Prerelease events and specialty game nights. I'm so glad to have found a store that has a staff that is passionate about the games as much as its customers. Thank you so much for having such a great shop to keep coming back to.

Real orderly (not surprised) and clean large comic book and other fantasy games. They seem to have alot of employees working and stocking. It seemed like a lot of them may have been lacking in social skills or customer service. Upon entering I stood at the main check out counter and a handful of workers looked up saw me and did not acknowledge me or call somebody to help me and nobody smiled. I was about to walk out feeling I was outside to their realm because essentially I was! Just came by to get a gift card. My visit left me with the impression from my experience as "what are you doing here outsider" or "you can wait we dont need your business" kind of vibe. So anyways nice clean well stocked store but the vibe meh!!

The purpose of the Mana Up Showcase 2025 was to give ten local entrepreneurs and four local musicians/singers a chance to introduce themselves and their small business. I truly enjoyed learning about how these businesses started; how they chose their names; how these entrepreneurs get their ideas; etc. The audience got to vote online for their favorite in each category. The merchandise was from more than the ten featured Entrepreneurs on the television program. I recognized Ulu Mana and the Hawaiian Chip Company. I didn't know about the other companies and products. Service was very helpful and friendly! The manager knew exactly what I was looking for and told me that the featured companies will be stocking the South Shore Market store soon. These products are sourced locally and can be ordered online. I just wanted gifts to send to the mainland. It's a convenient one-stop shop for gift giving! I appreciate the free, covered parking! I will be back!

Another House of Mana Up location, right here at South Shore in Ward!…read more Beautifully designed, well appointed, and quite the spacious store, it's filled with products from the Mana Up Cohorts, including the newest, some of which are shown in this "unboxing"! Imagine the joy of browsing the store, curating a thoughtful set of gifts, and delivering a House of Mana Up box similar to the photo (and yes, they have several different sizes) - to someone special, your family, or, yourself! You could also save yourself some time and call on their corporate gift team to help you curate your own client gift box! Imagine the joy of your recipients as they open their gifts! Carefully packaged, along with the bio card of each company, highlighting the story behind their business. Parking: Street parking for the most part, free on Sundays! Vibes: It's in Downtown Honolulu area that's pretty close to the mall, eateries and other activities. The spot itself is pretty neat. Intimate space that's well intentionally designed to make space for all the records and for people to see the main things they need to see - records, merch, etc. I went here during their 3rd Sunday: Records Should be Played sessions and it was dope! Oliver was chill and welcoming and DJ Drew had a dope set. Good people and music, what more can you ask for! Overall: 5 stars. Love it! The little studio that could. Got about 10 albums and all the albums were very clean and original inner sleeves are separated from the albums to avoid damage. Filipino cats inside were very friendly and even offered me a beverages if i wanted to. DJ was playing inside at the time. I will definitely will visit again when i am back in Honolulu.

Located right on the curbside of Aloha Tower Marketplace is this shop that's filled with all sorts of items you wouldn't imagine to find as bookstores are basically books of course and various accessories in relating to books though the sign says Barnes & Noble which is more a student supplies shop where it's filled with all things "Sharks" all sorts of outerwear from hats, shirts, decals, mugs, blankets and more along with a bunch of items every students need at their convenience as well. Remember this is part Barnes & Noble so there's a section filled with books of all kinds and a bunch of games...jenga, scrabble and even Monopoly lol! With that being a student does have it's issues...for me there always is and I noticed a section that's all things Essential Oils with individual various scents I was excited and intrigued the variety they have and actually picked up a Pen Diffuser which is nice and portable as you can open one or all four scents (Joy, focus, Energy and Calm) now how cool is that! Staff here is just a delight and told me that it was the first pen diffuser sold lol and they do validate parking (which is free for the first hour) so you can shop guilt free which creates more calmness as I shop and find unique items that makes me find my zen. For example, pictures of Hello Kitty face masks, scrub tops with cute prints, and Cony items (the white bunny from Line Friends). Thanks, Donna! Most recently, Donna sent me a photo of Line Friends items at the Ala Moana Shopping Center location of Barnes & Noble. I thought that I would be smart and go to the Barnes & Noble at Aloha Tower Marketplace for a better selection of Line Friends products. This Aloha Tower Marketplace location is closer to me than the Ala Moana store. However, parking is in a paid lot. Luckily, I found metered street parking on Bishop Street about a block away and walked over. This particular Barnes and Noble is more like a bookstore for Hawaii Pacific University (HPU). There were many items with the school logo: a shark! Isn't that kind of cool? Besides having books and school supplies, this Barnes & Noble carried HPU Aloha Shirts, t-shirts, jackets, hoodies, coffee mugs, key chains, lanyards, koozies, face masks, caps, etc. There were no Line Friends products. Shucks! I did enjoy the air conditioning, pleasant decor, and looking at the cute plushies, greeting cards, and other merchandise. I guess I will have to go to the Ala Moana Shopping Center location of Barnes & Noble for Cony items. I did look online, but I didn't want to pay for shipping. I should just bite the bullet because online shopping is more convenient in the long run, right?
