Booklink & Prive Cafe- Miami Airport.

Booklink & Prive Cafe- Miami Airport -Terminal D is the absolute best tucked away private spot for good coffee and breakfast bites. Fresh Empanadas, pastries and croissants. . Located in the back of the bookstore- Clean tables and comfortable chairs in a private setting- no long lines and great service with a smile- I got very lucky to find this spot as I was headed to my gate.

Nice selection of savory baked goods.

As far as airport hideaways go, this is the best. Quiet music, back of the cafe tucked away from the airport traffic, super nice staff that would let you try soups (their tomato is better than broccoli imo), delicious tomato soup, free wifi, and bright lighting and comfy seats to do work between flights. I dig it.

Coffee is always hot and tasty. The baristas are efficient and friendly. The empanadas are pretty good. Especially considering the nature of the store. It is a hidden gem in the Miami airport. Quiet, hot (and cold) coffee, pastries, books, quiet. Christmas music today. I imagine until the 25th, of course. And, lots of books.

This place is a little gem in this airport! I have a 12 hour layover and I stumble upon this store as I'm strolling through the airport to waste time. I spent at least an hour there looking at their vast collection of books. The have books for small children, young adults, the most recent bestsellers, classic novels and even board games. They also have a great assortment or pens, erasers, pencils, tablets and journals. And just when you think it can't get any better they have a nice cafe in the back of the store with a nice amount of seating for reading in a quiet atmosphere and eating the little treats and drinks they offer there for purchase. The employees were helpful and nice.

Nice little book store in terminal D east of the Miami airport. Has several sections for your normal book categories, as well as a seasonal section (right now it's Halloween) and a good kids section. My kids enjoyed looking through their books as we killed some time between connecting flights. They also have a nice coffee bar / cafe in the back of the store with a few tables to sit at. Definitely better than any of those newsline stores that are more geared towards magazines and snacks.

You walk through an outdoor entrance with black iron gates and the first thing you see at this bookstore is a bar! Ha. They have a cute outdoor patio seating area where you can eat, drink and read a book. There is an indoor cafe space and seating area as well. There are literally books EVERYWHERE!!! On the left side is an entrance to one side of the bookstore and on the right side is another entrance to the other side of the bookstore. Super organized with tall shelves of books, books and more books!!! f you walk past the bar outside and pass the outdoor patio area, there is another entrance in the middle to the indoor cafe with more seating. The indoor cafe entrance also connects to the bookstore inside too. We stopped by here during the day when we were walking around Coral Gables grabbing lunch and checking out the local museums. But we didn't have time to browse so we came back at night after dinner. At night, there's a bar/lounge vibe which is cool. They also had live music when we were there on a Saturday night. Beautiful bookstore set up and organization. They sell cute gift items too and the kids section is great! Love everything about this spot and I believe they have several other Books & Books locations. The Coral Gables location I think is the original and biggest one? Go check them out.

Whether it's a solo trip for a quick purchase or a meeting spot for a quick bite and leisurely stroll, they have everything you need and can cater to any in search of some good books without the secondhand hassle. The open courtyard at the entrance has a bar offering light lobster options and wine. The floor plan has a winding maze-like layout making your browsing experience much more interesting. They also host book signing events with local authors so checking their social media pages is a good way to sneak peak what's in store. They have something for every reader and even plenty of independent and local newspapers. The staff is very helpful and they're quick to help you find whatever material you're searching for. The prices are reasonable and there's plenty of categories to choose from. It's perfect to come here when you want a chill activity without the hustle and bustle. There are deals on the wine bottles during the week so check their calendar. I recommend this place over the conglomerate booksellers because they really support local business owners and their prices are extremely attractive for the range they offer.

Every item sold here comes with a backstory and really brings out the raw talent our community has. There's nothing like it in the area which is why I recommend paying them a visit. It seems like the whole strip of this center has something cool to offer. The business next door is Nerdvana which is the perfect extension of this spot offering rare collectibles of noteworthy comics and figurines for the 80's kid on your shopping list. The best part of Booktanica is the passion behind the project. Visions like these often get dulled out and rarely come to life.
