A cute little nook in sunset place. They sell beer, sake, coffee and teas. I love all of that so definitely wanted to give it a try. They have open mic some nights. It's so chill and pretty in there. I love the vibes. The barista was so sweet and attentive. We ordered a Nutella coffee and a caramel macchiato and she personally handed it to us where we sat. So so sweet. There's a bunch of jewelry, clothes and accessories to check out. I'm so glad this mall has this spot because I will be coming back very soon. I can't believe it's taken me this long to walk in. Love everything about it. Fingers crossed that this shop stays forever!!!!! It's literally what's keeping the mall afloat.

On my search for coffee shops in South Miami I stumbled upon this cute place. It's definitely a younger high school/college vibe. I really liked how they have a lot of jewelry, clothes, candles, miscellaneous items around the shop form local artists. There are an array of drinks and food items you can order. I got an alfajor and it wasn't that bad. I really liked how they have open mic nights and events during the month. Cute place if you wanna relax, play some board games, and drink a coffee with friends.

The place is really cute and I could see it would be fun to hang out. However, the matcha latte was depressing. Almost $7 for just latte and tiny bit of matcha. I couldnt even taste the matcha and the matcha wasn't blended completely at the bottom. They do have nice tea selection but the quality of the match was not good . They use Silk Plantbased milk. Not the best either.

That moment you walk into a place and you just know it's going to sell all the things you love. The vibe is laid-back and chill. Every piece of clothing and jewelry represents something special about the creator and tells a little story. The art on the walls compliments the handcrafted jewelry. The stones and crystal hold a vibe of their own. I'm sure you'll find a piece to take home. I found a couple of things that I just had to buy and a few that I made a note to come back for. There are plenty of seats for you to relax, grab a bite, a drink, bring your laptop and get your work on. And live entertainment will keep you and your friends entertained for the evening. Check out their calendar to see what's coming up for the month, it's posted on their website and on the wall as soon as you walk in. I took my time and shopped, and enjoyed the calm, cool vibes. It's just that kind of place. I'll definitely be back.

A beautiful shop with lots to browse around in from local artists. The drink selection was good, and I overheard the barista talk with a customer that they are known for the matcha. I would want to get that next time. Lots of tables and outlets to work in. The barista surprised me that he wasn't wearing a mask at all, even though I was under the impression that it was still a mandate to wear masks inside businesses at that time. That left me feeling much more on edge since he made my drink. I wish I had asked him why he was doing that but i unfortunately won't be returning until the pandemic ends because of this lack of following the mandate.

Awesome place to hangout on Sunday evening. At 7pm the place host amateur stand up comedy. They have drinks and food too. Make sure to order something here while watching a show it will mean a lot to the people in this establishment.

Inside of what was once a thriving but is how a half empty dying mall is what I consider to be a true find. While strolling the south miami art festival we wondered the mall and stumbled onto this place. It's very hard to classify it but is a light, bright space that is somewhere between a live music venue, a clothing store and jewelry store. I'll admit that the girl that was perfuming may well be what drew me in and kept me here. She was amazing and if there is a god will be a well known singer/musician. When in and she was singing an awesome ballad and was soon joined by her friend on violin and second friend on guitar. I would hav

I used to live by Sunset Place years ago. This was my first time back to Miami in awhile so I wanted to do a little scavenger hunt of places I used to go to and live in when in Miami. So I stopped at my old apartment and walked over to Sunset Place. This mall used to be my hangout on a Friday or Saturday morning. I would grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich from the Barnes & Noble Cafe while reading a book or a magazine, walk around the mall or go see a morning matinee at the AMC across the way. So a lot of happy memories here. The mall over the years has gone down hill and a lot of closed shops inside, however; I stumbled across Tea & Poets which is a place I would have frequented all the time if I lived there when this venue opened. It had a cute bohemian type store in addition to the cafe that had a variety of specialty drinks and some pastries. The guy working there was very friendly and helpful. Also, they had open mic nights, which I love. A great find! I hope the mall revives and keeps this place in business.

We randomly stopped by Tea & Poets on a Friday night as they were having Open Mic night and this place was packed. We arrived and found some very young kid bands rocking their socks off. I'm pretty sure their parents were there cheering them on as well. The kid bands took turns after a song or two each. They were all so good and entertaining that I'd come back for more. Tea & Poets has been around for some time now and they seem to have a lot of events like this Open Mic night. Pretty awesome as it exceeded my expectations.

I really wanted to give this independent tea and coffee house a five star rating. I've made a decision to not visit any of the chain coffee houses and to support local businesses. The pros: The space is very colorful with different vendors all along the store. They have art, clothing, jewelry and other items for sale. I had a carrot cake cookie and it was delicious. The staff is friendly. They have open mike on Wednesday nights. I did not get to enjoy this event. The cons: The smell of incense is overwhelming. I don't think an eatery should ever have burning incense. The carrot cookie was the size of a quarter. I'm not a big eater but this was ridiculously tiny. The air conditioner was on the warm side. The Americano coffee did not taste well; I could not put my finger on it... We will not be returning to this establishment.

    Great environment for families.

I really enjoy their layout and ambiance. The star of my experience was their Banana Foster hot latte. I wasn't sure what to expect, but it completely delivered. It has this smooth banana flavor with a hint of caramelized sweetness that reminds you of the classic dessert, but it's not overly sugary. The espresso still shines through, and the drink stays perfectly balanced. Every sip feels warm and comforting, especially if you're someone who likes specialty lattes that are flavorful without tasting artificial. What I appreciated most is that the baristas clearly care about the craft. The latte was beautifully made, the milk was silky, and the flavors were layered in a way that felt intentional rather than gimmicky. If you're anywhere near South Miami and want something different from the usual vanilla or caramel latte, the Banana Foster hot latte at Iconik Coffee is absolutely worth trying. It is a unique concept with unique flavors that I am very glad I finally got to try. When we walked in, about four employees stared at us while we were visibly confused about whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Nobody greeted us or explained the process, so I eventually walked toward the back near the kitchen and asked, "Hi, do we seat ourselves or wait to be seated?" The response I got was simply, "Yes." ...Yes what? I had to ask again before being told we could seat ourselves, but that the kitchen would be closing in 30 minutes. Totally understandable, and we reassured them we only needed a couple minutes to look at the menu. Once seated, our server again reminded us the kitchen was closing soon, which felt a little rushed considering we were ready to order almost immediately. Then when asking whether the breakfast sandwich or the truffle egg bun was better, the response was, "I fu*k with the breakfast sandwich." Honestly, it caught me off guard a bit. The overall service throughout felt awkward, rushed, and not very polished or welcoming. We decided to go with the breakfast sandwich, and then he asked if we wanted a side salad or potatoes. We said potatoes, and also asked if the sandwich could be cut in half. He responded, "The potatoes in half?" We clarified, "No, the sandwich." Then he replied, "Ok... what side would you like?" ...The potatoes Thankfully, the food completely turned things around. We split the breakfast sandwich and it was genuinely delicious. The lattes had a much richer coffee flavor than most cafés, and the pancakes tasted homemade and fresh. For about $50 total, I left satisfied with both the quality and portion sizes.
