The new location is good. It's much more spacious than previous location however there is not a cafe or much seating ro mingle or read inside the store. Very disappointing because sometimes like to read books before and after buying. read more

I love this store because it's the only big bookstore in the area. But it is so much potential to be better. Whenever I come here, I grab what I need and head out because the inventory is just so cramped up and not organized. The store is split in two down the aisle. You can't go across the main aisle because there's inventory blocking every step. If they would clear it out and organize it more, it would seem more bearable to walk around the store. Things are decently priced, but majority of their books are overpriced. I do like how they have a sales selection, though small, it's better than nothing. I'll continue to come here only because it's the only bookstore but I do wish they could organize it better. read more

Nothing like going to a bookstore and grabbing a book to read every now and then. You don't have to buy it per se...just find a place to sit on the floor or stand up and read if your neck can take it. The customers or staff won't say anything. I remember when this location opened up in 2004. The previous location was on the corner of Dawson and Old Dawson Road which was a bit larger in my opinion. BAM has every genre of books that you can possibly think of, including XXX books to enhance our sexual taboos complete with illustrations and pictures. Not porn, but more like instruction manuals type books. We could all use improvement in the bed right? Makes me wonder where and how the author learned them. Be careful reading these types of books in the store, as there are children here. Anyway...this store is neat, clean, organized, and very well stocked. Nowadays, people use their laptops or tablets to read, but there is nothing wrong with coming to a brick-and-mortar facility and reading the old-fashioned way. You might even meet some new people as well :) read more

I personally loved this Books A Million! They had all the categories I was in search of displayed very nicely. I like the atmosphere as well, very kid friendly! I found a great book from there that I am reading now. I could spend hours in this store just browsing. I love this books a million read more

I love this bookstore! I can always find the books I want and the people who work there are super nice and helpful! I've bought books and toys as well as cute mugs and t-shirts! I went in to purchase a book, went to the counter, ask where I might find this book, and was sent to the magazine section. I asked again, referred to a center table in the aisle, the particular was $10 higher than Barnes & Noble as well as Walmart. I asked the cashier to scan the price and then explained I could purchase it for less. She said this was their price, I at least thought they could/would price match. Have any readers been in there lately? It is not a bookstore any longer! Walmart has about as many books as they do! Legos and toys which is likely to have put Toys are Us out of business! Anyway, my body will never go into one again! They put Walden Books out of business and at least they carried just about any book you wanted! read more

Books A Million had gone down hill. It's beginning to look a lot like a dollar store. I've been coming to BAM for over 5 years. Usually my wife sits and reads at s a belt at least he coffee shop. As for me, I play an acoustic guitar. Have had no complaints since I play relaxing music such as Greensleeves. Yesterday a WW II veteran came in and sat down and I play a patriotic song for him and he thank me. My wife and I stopped by after church and the coffee shop girl said that the district manger who just happen to be their yesterday said he did not want me paying their. He was gutless to ask me himself and had to have a employee ask me who by the way ask if I take requests. Well we will no longer be coming to BAM. We are moving to TN. Where music is appreciated. Perhaps I should bring all my crying and yelling grand babies to the store and see what they say about their music. read more
