But what really got me was her man employee that had to get the thing out of the store. It's like someone just ran over his cat and then backed back over it again in front of him. He was grouchy and uncomfortable to work with as I had to help him get it taken apart and then out the door. Not a thank you for helping him or nothing. So not only did I pay full price, I didn't get the whole hutch AND I had to do manual labor, but the worst thing of all was his demeanor. Put a freaking smile on your face dude. Or get out of the customer service business, you belong at the DMV honestly.

The only comics they sell are small indies and their own imprint. That being said, their collection is strange, weird and just not good. If you're a reader of Marvel, DC, Image, Boom and Dark Horse you'll notice the difference. Just the art alone is a turn off. Just go to their website and see the bizarre comics they sell. Another thing you'll notice is that they market a lot of comics as "optioned", meaning someone has bought the rights to turn a property into a movie or TV show. This means absolutely nothing. Big studios do this all the time just to have the rights in their catalog of possible projects. This is a good way to market but in the end is exactly that. Trying to sell comics based on the fact that you may be buying the next Something is Killing the Children, Stray Dogs or Oblivion Song.

The drop in star is because I don't understand their idea of "sipping" and sending. I get the "send" part. I don't get why I'd want to drink wine or buy it before sending my packages. That being said, this place saves me a drive across town and is super close to my home. I also appreciate how helpful and welcoming the ladies can be even when busy. I tend to come here for quick amazon drop offs and have now started buying my stamps here as well. The set up the place isn't terrible but it's a bit tight although I don't think it should be. The walk up to the register is basically an aisle full of stuff you could buy, a lot of it wine and trinkets. Since I'm not there to drink or buy wine (normally because it's early in the morning), the stuff is sort of in my way. =/ Oh I'm definitely coming back but for my post office needs.
