Have some courtesy and show people what they are in for BEFORE running all the unnecessary tests. Most of us don't have an extra $700 laying around.

The attention to detail that they have and the love that they seem to develop for our dogs and any pets that are brought there is really remarkable. I don't feel like they are just trying to make a bunch of money off of people, but rather are in this business because they really care about animals and the families of animals. One dog in particular we have had a nightmare with and have had repeated issues that we need to take him in for. So even though they have good pricing, the bills just kept racking up higher and higher. Thankfully his issues are under control now and they actually reached out to an organization called Helping Paws on our behalf who made a donation toward our bill! We really appreciate them and our dogs feel very comfortable there and are not frightened like they have been at other vets. It's kind of a little home away from home for them. :)

SoCal Vet quoted me 1/3 of the price of other Vets in my area- about $700 for a 20lb doggy with poor dental. The price included blood work, x-rays, anesthesia, meds, AND extractions. My pug needed quite a few teefs removed. They clipped her nails free of charge. The Gentlemen (forgive me, I forgot his name) who went over x-rays and cleaned her teeth is great at what he does! I have since taken her back for a dental check, and brought my other pug. Both were sedated and received the full dental treatment. The price has remained the same for each! Dr and Staff are sweet; they are busy, but very kind. Def recommend them.

First was my big Maine coon cat who was having severe kidney issues. Dr. Bowdre and staff were so thoughtful and kind and with all of their recommendations he is still thriving today. About 10 days ago my 16-year-old rescue Yorkie was failing quickly. I'll spare you the details. I was treated kindly and respectfully at a time where I was truly heartbroken. The next day I brought her in and held her to the very end. I miss her a lot, and the other dogs mourned her. But what happened before all of that was what I want you to know. The vet-tech came in with a little silver platter. On it with a tongue, depressor coated in cheese-wiz and three Hershey's kisses. She had not eaten in three days, however, she lifted her little head and enjoyed her final treats. Chocolate, you say? Something I would've never given her, however, I figured this was her Thelma and Louise moment. That act of kindness and a little bit of a chuckle still warms my heart.

When our cat was sick and we called for an appointment, not only did they not help us get in, but they also didn't recommend any other places. Furthermore, the woman on the phone wasn't empathic and, dare I say, borderline unprofessional. As a former business owner, I wouldn't want that person answering my phones. It's because of her that this clinic lost our business. She was short and not very helpful. We ended up going to the VCA in Escondido (Acacia) and had a really good experience from the first phone call to check out. It's all about touch points with clientele and from the first touch point with Tri-city, we were disappointed. Not even because they couldn't get us in same-day, but mostly because of the woman on the phone completely FAILING at her job. My wife and I hung up and both said synonymously, "we will never take our pets there."
