Then, if she has any inclination you'll give her a negative review, she refuses to review you. She says "hi, I just gave you a 5 star review", but a week later I still never got a review. This is someone's investment property, and they charge a premium price for a poorly maintained facility. Take your business elsewhere if you're looking for honesty and integrity.

I was so happy that she had a cabin available (cabin #2)! And what a cabin! These are log cabins with long decks that overlook the Arkansas hills. Everything was clean and just really, really nice. I was looking for a place with a full kitchen, and this had it (well, minus the oven, but that was OK, it had a toaster oven!), including full-sized refrigerator, microwave, stove. The kitchen had everything you might need: pots, pans, all manner of utensils, all the dishes and silverware, storage containers potholders, etc. There was a dining table, and couches and a coffee table in front of the fireplace. There were games on the shelf that you could play, there were lots of power outlets, big fluffy towels in the bathroom, and parking for 2+ cars. The downstairs bedroom had a queen bed (I think) and upstairs in the loft was a twin and a double. Lots of room to spread around here! The deck had a birdfeeder and a hummingbird feeder (and, yes, the hummingbirds do show up), with rocker-swing two-seater, barbecue, bench, and two chairs, just plenty of room to hang out. Our deck overlooked a beautiful field in front of the view of all the pretty Arkansas hills. Oh, and the sunset was almost directly in front of us! I felt like I was living in the hunting lodge of a Lord of the Manor and thoroughly enjoyed being there. It is about a quarter-mile up a side road from Highway 7, just south of Jasper, and it was very quiet there except for the sounds of birds! Kelly was extremely accommodating and gracious, and again, I was thoroughly thrilled to find this place on short notice because it was really spectacular and beyond my expectations!

Sitting on the side of the mountain, each cabin features spectacular views of the valley. With three full size beds, our cabin was just the right size for a group looking to explore the nearby river or hike in the mountains. The kitchen is fully outfitted and they even provide a grill! The only drawback is that there is no internet or TV. Of course, this might be seen as a benefit to some as it adds to the charm or being in a cabin in an area known for its outdoor activities.

I came away with no diamonds but some decent sized stones, one of which was amethyst. The first cavern was the big one. It had some beautiful formations. We received great information from our guide and a little history lesson. Be sure to wear shoes with good grip as the stone steps may be damp as you go lower. At the bottom of the second cavern, you are 110 feet below ground level. Again, wear the right shoes as it is damp. The formations were beautifully lit for your viewing pleasure. If you are visiting Branson, this is just a little more than 30 minutes on down the road!

They have two caves but we only did the mystic cavern one due to time. They closed at 5. They also have a pretty extensive gift shop filled with crystals and knick knacks. The tour lasted about 45 minutes. Make sure your shoes can get wet because the cave floors were damp and had puddles. It can also be chilly in the caverns. Amazing experience! P.S I have to say driving up the mountain to get here was a journey in itself! There were not many pit stops to use the restroom and the only real food place was subway which was about 30 minutes from the caverns. They have a small community in the mountains but it is small and not everything is always open. Beautiful drive up though. Not for the faint of heart if you are scared of heights because there are many drop offs where you see the valleys 1000 ft below.

I was initially going to stay at an AirBnB in Leslie for $350 for 2 nights and realized that was way too much for a place to sleep. I found The HUB online and made a reservation. We hit a quiet weekend and only about 10 of the 50 rooms were occupied. The place is older, but well maintained and clean. The owners, Debbie and Randall, are great people and were very helpful. I just made a reservation here for late October to catch the changing of the leaves in the Ozarks. The restaurant, Scooters, is also a great place to eat. We had dinner there 2 nights. The Prime Rib is excellent.

Was supposed to be an updated room, but its not. Smelled musty. Wife had to use inhaler 3 times…read moreduring the night. Sink sprayed water on the mirror and counter and was green around handles. Curtains would not shut all the way giving no privacy. Carpet was stained. Bed is an old spring mattress type which gave feedback very time you moved. Light bulbs missing from lamps. Told them we wasn't staying more than one night because of the condition of the room and they want more than onenights pay out of 4 days. Says we owe two but only will refund one day out of the four so far. Had to get credit card company involved because owner plays games. Room next to ours smelled so bad wife could not enter and other couple wouldn't take it. One other couple was given a room with just a bed and no other furniture with lamps placed on floor. Then moved them to a room with broken furniture.
