I brought in a phone for repairs. Instead of fixing it, they performed some dark ritual that somehow made it worse. They charged more than the phone is worth, so naturally I assumed it would come back working like new. Silly me. It came back acting like it had survived a car crash and a lightning strike. Twice. They "repaired" two things. Neither one actually worked. Shocking, I know. Now I have a phone that's about as useful as a brick with a screen. A really expensive brick, courtesy of the geniuses at Apple Juice. If you're looking for the thrill of overpaying for absolutely nothing, this is your place. If not, run. I like this location on Deerfield Road because it's right in the medical center of Boone and is easy to get to and park. The folks who work here are always kind and friendly and will easily go out of their way to help you, whether its with a pharmacy question or related to something in the store. They are professional and knowledgable. My favorite part about coming here is the store portion -- they are always selling local, Boone/mountain themed items, including jars of preserves or frozen Moravian chicken pies! I accidentally came here the other day thinking I had a prescription for pick up. Turns out I didn't, but I still couldn't leave without spending $80 on unique candles, notecards, notepads, and healthcare products. Whoops!

A note about the service--I actually was happy to be not suddenly approached by an overly enthusiastic employee when I initially walked into the store. You know the kind of place where you walk in just to browse and someone just comes up to you and asks if you're looking for anything? I was looking for a specific item and after a few minutes of browsing, the guy behind the counter came up to ask if he could help me find anything. He was super nice and helped me look for items similar to what I was looking for. When we couldn't find the size I wanted, I asked for a few other items and he found some for me right away. I ended up finding the perfect shirt for my kid that was the right size, player, and team. As I was paying, I chatted with him that I had gone to High school here and was glad to see my school's shirts/gear were being sold--it turns out he was also an alum of my school too (about 8 years before so we didn't know each other), but it turns out he owns the store and opened since 1990. They have expanded to a few other locations as well. I was just about to leave a nice review but noticed some 1 stars on here from people who have done a total of 1 to 3 Yelp reviews--really people? Those should have been filtered out. So just to address some of those 1 star reviews on Yelp complaining of not having attentive service--if you needed something, why not just ask the person who is behind the counter instead of writing that the employee was not paying attention to customers? This place truly lacks customer service. They lack it so much they don't even know how to spell…read morecustomer service. I went with my parents to buy 4 rocking chairs and two small end tables. My mom asked if they had a military discount, my dad is in the Air Force. The lady literally said "I've sold furniture all day and no one has asked for a discount." First, we were buying them regardless, and a lot of people give a military discount and there is no harm in asking especially Memorial Day weekend. The lady was so rude. She found someone else who said we could have 5% off but we had to pay check or cash, if we paid credit card we had to pay full price?! What?! That isn't a military discount that is a CASH discount when you have to pay cash or check?! So we finally bought them. $2,220.93. This was not a cheap purchase. They promised to deliver and then said it was $60 to deliver less than 3 miles. So we decided to make several trips to pick them up, since we could make the trip to and from I less than 5 mins. We got back and our 4 chairs which we paid dearly for, are sitting I the PARKING LOT! We picked them up and on our last trip we in to tell them we got them, had our receipt if we needed it, and they older lady "we don't care." So yeah, I would not even buy a dang plant from this place. It's my mission to make sure they never treat anyone like this again, especially someone who fought for their freedom.
