I'm in California and needed a local florist to deliver an arrangement for my dear friend in New York. She had to put down her beloved dog and I wanted to send her a doggie arrangement to let her know I was thinking of her. I called Boos based on their location and Yelp reviews. Billy took the call and told me that while he was still a bit away from delivery location, he could get it done for me. I gave him all the details and he told me I would receive an order confirmation email as well as a delivery confirmation email. I received neither, but 1) my email is a little long and maybe it was transcribed incorrectly, and 2) I figured since my card had been charged, all was good. When I didn't hear anything from anyone, I called Boos back and Billy answered. He knew exactly who I was, explained to me that the system did not save the order, and he was so, so sorry. He sounded genuine and very apologetic. He asked me if he could deliver that day. I accepted and gave him the details once more. I received the email confirmation he originally mentioned, and a few hours later received the delivery confirmation. Shortly thereafter, I received a message from the recipient and she was so happy to have received such a thoughtful gift. She sent me a picture and I think it is adorable and exactly what I asked for!! Boos flowers didn't let me down, and while there was a hiccup with delivery ... Ordered my boyfriends mom some flowers from here. I spent time looking at bouquets and chose one specifically for the tulips. The florist called me and said they weren't in season so he can match the color scheme but the bouquet wouldn't have tulips. Said it was fine as long as it still looked similar. She sent me a pic and they looked nothing like the bouquet at all. However, the flowers were fresh, colorful and nice. She was happy. I went to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's the next day and saw tulips at their flower corner..... not sure how they got them out of season but overall would order from the again. read more

Just this past Tuesday, I rec'd the sad news of my good friend's Father passing away. I wanted to send flowers immediately, since the funeral was a short time away.I am so glad that I chose Boos based on reading the positively glowing Yelp reviews. Ordering through their website was easy and painless. Good follow up and confirmation of delivery was sent to me. Even better was the complete surprise of excellent values for moderate cost. When I checked the florist that was recommended by the funeral home, there was a $20 service charge per order for delivery. There is no delivery or rip off service charge at Boos, it is FREE. When I saw my bouquet at the wake, it was gorgeous. Someone in the trade saw it and said the flowers used were hi quality, costly and very FRESH, arranged with nice volume ( not sparse ). Boos included a nice card with my message, written accurately. Many people asked me where I had ordered it from and they laughed when I told them "Boos", since today was St Patrick's Day and it sounded like "booze''. LOL. I live in Atlanta, Georgia and needed a floral arrangement for a funeral in Hicksville. Telephoned Boos after reading their reviews and spoke to Billy. I told him that I wanted something different in a spray. Perhaps some tropical flowers, not the ordinary carnations, etc. I mentioned that I would see the arrangement when attending the wake. I ordered a basket and I received both an acknowledgement of the order and an email advising me the arrangement was delivered. When I went to the funeral home I saw the basket sent, and it was very nicely done. Prices are moderate, quality was high. This shop is dated, real old school. Nothing creative my daughter got same corsage for 3 yrs. white tea roses w/baby breath & white ribbon. Not cheap not innovated, no good. The flowers in Trader Joe's are nicer than what they have displayed in the refrigerators. Run don't walk this florist stinks!!!! read more
