I loved the black and tan coffee beans when we made them the morning after our visit here. My husband and I had 2 cold brews with oat milk and vanilla syrup. They were perfect. Not too much acid. No artificial vanilla taste which we both cringe at when we taste it. The place is super cute and cozy too. It was busy but we got our coffees quickly. read more

A wonderful place for a great pour over. I have also bought their bagged beans to grind at home. I appreciate they stamped the bags to indicate the freshness date. Anytime I'm in the area, it's my go to place to unwind and gather my thoughts. There are tables for you to sit down but there's not many. There are also a few chairs outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Btw, refills is $1 even for a pour over. My personal favorite is Indo which is a medium roast but full body and low acidity. Heaven found here. It's a blend of Bali and Sumatra beans. A definite come back. read more

Booskerdoo is trying to reinvent the wheel! Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, Seattle's best, they are all very Successful and busy coffee stores. Correct? What do they all have in common? Great service! Booskerdoo Coffee Inc. decided they have a better way to serve coffee. There way you ask? They won't make your coffee! Here's your cup! The barista says. Now turn around and put your own sugar in and put your own cream in. They are still going to charge you a few bucks or more for that coffee don't you worry. But don't you dare ask for a regular cuppa coffee they don't make them there, you make your own coffee there. First rule of successful business- don't try to reinvent the wheel. I've never seen a Starbucks open half day seven days a week. Never saw Dunkin' Donuts or Seattle's best closed at three in the afternoon either. Starbucks is open until 10 in the evening. Dunkin donuts around us open 24 hours a day. Booskerdoo Coffee Inc. You can keep your coffee. We are going to miss you. If I'm going to spend three dollars or more for a cuppa coffee you better make it. I really liked the taste of your coffee. Cappuccinos are incredible too. Let it be said that we warned you. The lack of cars in your parking lot should've been your first clue that telling your customers to make their own coffee was a bad idea. Wait your first clue should've been the customers that actually told you we want you to make the coffee. I support mom and pop stores like yours, I would rather buy from you then billion dollar Starbucks. But if the service isn't there, I'm not there. The baristas treat you like an idiot if you ask for a coffee with two sugars and cream. What's so strange about that? Her answer the sugars behind you I don't have it behind my counter. Don't bother calling and talking to a manager of one of the stores. They think their new fangled way of serving coffee is the future. I don't see how they're going to pay their rent if they're open six hours a day compared to Starbucks 18 hours a day and 1 mile down the street. Good product and crappy service will never equal success. I'll make my on coffee at home from now on. Even better I'll stop at Starbucks and get in and out in two minutes with a fresh made coffee not made by me. read more

I walked in at 3:50 on a Tuesday afternoon, having never been to Booskerdoo before. I asked what was good and told them I was a latte drinker. They told me to try a Nutella latte and upsold me a 50c chocolate chip cookie. Both were absolutely delicious. The two people working there were kind, helpful, and accommodating. Yep, I am a fan. During our extended stay in the area, I visited this location at least a dozen times and each time had delicious coffee and generally good service. It is the perfect quirky coffee spot with just the right combination of coffee, spots to sit and people to watch. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Stopped here on our way back from the beach. The Nutella latte was delicious, as was the iced coffee. I only wish the prices for the lattes were a bit more obvious (the Nutella latte was $1 extra for the syrup). Very cute shop and the baristas could not have been nicer! Staff here is really hit or miss. Manager is great and a few others, but the staff is really lacking. Two big gripes? Being told they cant make a drink you want because thats not how they pour their coffee. And hit-or-miss barista output. Came here the other day to kill some time before lunch and a doctor's appointment. We initially tried another tea place down the road, but (1) it wasn't open and (2) it was waaay too fancy for what we were looking for. Booskerdoo fit the bill perfectly. Small, local shop with really friendly baristas and (I'm told) a good tasting coffee selection. As I'm exclusively a tea drinker, I can't comment on that aspect. But I can comment on their chai, which came in both hot and cold varieties, and was fab. Not too sweet like how some chain coffeeshops tend to make it, but not bland either. There are 3 tables in a back corner that have banquette and chair seating, and a couple other tables with chairs only. It is small inside, but a nice environment for some computer work or catching up with a few close friends. They also have some outdoor seating in the form of Adirondack chairs for soaking up that NJ sunshine, or braving the winter ocean wind if that's your thing. Reading through some other reviews on here, it seems they have different daily promotions, including free cookie Tuesdays. The baked goods looked delicious sitting behind the glass. Alas, I was saving room for lunch, so passed on that particular purchase. Either way, the warm decor, friendly service and hot (or cold) beverages are inviting and worth experiencing on their own. First time ever trying their coffee...my boss picked some up for me. The iced coffee I had was just ok. I'm not a crazy hot coffee drinking so I enjoy cold iced beverages instead. I had higher hopes for it since I've heard people say it was good. I much rather a cold brew coffee from one of their competitors. One thing I must say is absolutely delicious is their sausage frittata sandwich! It was my second time having it and it's just to die for so I'm going to give their coffee another try. read more

Best coffee in Monmouth County, maybe the state. I prefer the local vibe at the Monmouth Beach location but the coffee is what counts most. I do like that 'working from home' is an option at this location. Outside is very dog friendly, six or so Adirondack chairs with a water dish await. read more

Booskerdoo is one of my favorite spots to grab coffee and a snack. I love that their coffee is made pour over style (so much fresher this way!). Their espresso drinks are solidly good (although I recently ordered a cappuccino and it came out latte style with no frothed milk on top, but not a big deal to me). One awesome customer perk at Booskerdoo is free cookie Tuesday--every Tuesday after noon you get a free cookie with your drink. These cookies and their other baked goods are always super tasty. I really enjoy espresso drinks such as cappuccinos & cortados. I have enjoyed some excellent espresso in Manhattan at places like Stumptown, 3rd Rail and, my favorite, Blue Bottle. Booskerdoo is as good, if not even better, then Blue Bottle. The Booskerdoo espresso is very flavorful with no bitterness at all. I have recently become a frequent customer and have not used my home espresso machine ever since. The folks working there are very friendly and make their drinks with care. read more

I have enjoyed Booskerdoo Coffee and treats regularly but just had them cater a brunch for my extended family. Everything was fantastic! We had boxes of coffee (one hot, one cold brew), blueberry muffins, spanakopita, egg sandwiches, galettes, and, of course, their amazing mini chocolate chip cookies. We loved every bite!
