Yesterday, my husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience with Jessica Hernandez, an…read moreemployee of this S. Main St., Orange, CA, AT&T store. We went to the Brea Mall to purchase Apple Watches specifically for the watches' fall detection and other emergency contact features. We intended to connect our new watches with our existing AT&T wireless account that provides service to our iPhones. Jessica had been assigned at random yesterday to an AT&T kiosk in the Brea Mall. After we bought our watches, my husband and I connected with Jessica at the kiosk. Over the next several hours, Jessica diligently and expertly connected our phones to our AT&T wireless service, overcoming unexpected obstacles. This came about as follows: Jessica first connected my watch to the service. She then tried unsuccessfully to connect my husband's watch to the service. After many tries to establish the connection, and after working directly with Apple employees at the Apple Store, Jessica was able to establish that my husband's new watch was defective, and we were able to replace the watch on the spot. Before we could connect my husband's new watch to the AT&T service, it was already after 7:00 p.m., and Jessica's shift was over, and she left to go home. Then, amazingly, just a few minutes later, Jessica voluntarily walked back into the Apple Store, sat down and proceeded to go through all the steps necessary to connect my husband's watch to our AT&T service. We were completely blown away by Jessica's amazing diligence, skill, patience, and excellent customer service skills, over the 3-4 hours all this took. Even the Apple employees were amazed at her dedication to representing AT&T at the highest possible level. Here is the bottom line: Jessica Hernandez is a highly skilled, professional, dedicated AT&T representative who served us with consummate courtesy and patience. She provides great value to AT&T, and we urge AT&T to strongly consider her for future opportunities in the company. Judy and Luis Ortiz, Orange, CA

The rep kept claiming there was absolutely no way this could be handled in person and I had to call and mail my phone back then wait for a new one. So I left and did what he said.. every avenue told me I needed to go back in store to do this. Now I have to drive to find a new location with someone who will actually help me.

I came in one night . They had what I call an 'event' going on. Where ppl rushed on in to place an…read moreorder for pokemon cards. I came in an hour later after it initially started. Seemingly still made the cut to order. There was about 20 ppl in front of me. So as the line shortens and im getting closer and closer, I'm just on my phone, texting friends, being excited that I'm about to place an order for this very special set. The manager/supervisor, whose name is tony, comes around to the line and makes and announcement. Specifically stating that they will NOT place multiple orders for individuals. I paid no attention, it didn't apply to me. I had just got there 15 minutes ago and hadn't placed any order yet, I thought. Then tony looks at me and proceeds to tell me that I should leave and that he will not be taking my order. I didn't listen to him. There were only 4 ppl in front of me. I was almost there. Soon as I got in front of the cashier, tony comes rushing from around that corner and tells me he's not taking my order. I kept asking why so he tells me to talk to security or call corporate. I'm confused as fuck! Then the female cashier looks up my account and tells me that I've been buying from other stores and now that I can't buy from their store. So I'm asking myself, if I bought a tv from the other location, I can't buy another tv at this location?? I started to feel like tony was discriminating against me. Becuz I came to realization that buying/purchasing from other stores was not the issue here. Becuz tony had already told me before I even got to the register that he was not going to take my order if I'm intending to place multiple orders. Which I hadn't. We went back and forth, and then begins to tell me that he now will take my order but it WILL be canceled. So after discriminating against me, he now wants to threaten me by deliberately canceling my order. So as he proceeds to place my order. I give him that necessary information that he needed. I gave him the sku number for the product that I wanted. And after I gave him that number he says to me 'funny that you know the number by heart' . It was 7 numbers. I remember my dl number. My license plate number, my ssn, and even my mama phone number by heart. I have no idea why he thought I couldn't remember 7 numbers to a product I've purchased in the past numerous times at other locations. All in all, this guy tony discriminated against me, threatened me. Intimidated me. And patronized me. He straight up profiled me. I wanna have a talk with HR next and ask what type of ppl they hire and requirements are needed to have a manager/supervisor position. It's ppl like tony is the reason why I don't come to this location. I've had better customer service at other Best Buy's location. I get 'good mornings' every time I walk in after a night of camping out. I don't get treated like shit like how tony did me. Take my word for it Don't come to this location Westminster mall and Costa Mesa is the place to go. I got the proof.
