I'm surprised this place has such positive reviews. our experience couldn't have been more the opposite. I took my daughters phone in to get the back glass replaced. when we got the phone back and paid, my daughter noticed the screen on/off side button wasn't working anymore. we asked the tech about it, and he just bragged about what a good job he did and how pretty the phone was after repair. we pointed out again that it wasn't working appropriately. rather than try to help us figure out a solution, here are some of the things he told us "I have no proof that it was working before. you must be trying to get me to fix a problem you were already having for free" "if it's really a new problem you can just take it into Verizon and they'll give you a new phone for free because this one is so pretty now" "you are a joke if you think i broke your phone" no ownership or accountability. no willingness to provide any customer service. he got mad very quickly and started accusing me of all sorts of crazy stuff. all I wanted was to have a conversation as to how they might make this right. the next day I called the parent store in Huntington Beach. their recommendation: take it back in and have them take a look at it. they wouldn't give me a price estimate or any concessions that they might try to make it right, other than I would get charged full price for whatever new repairs the phone might need. I am not sinking any more money into this company. im guessing most people have positive results, but if anything at all goes wrong, don't expect any customer service of any sort. read more

(In response, I was NEVER refunded.) Whatever you do, just don't use this company. YOUR IPHONE WITH REJECT THE SCREEN BECAUSE IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH IPHONE. Screens are cheap but NOT authentic. IN ADDITION, when I received my phone... the screws at the bottom were not screwed in AND the screen broke the next day. Save your money. Save your time. All they tried to do to make it "okay" was try to order a "authentic screen" for an additional $300 or replace it with the same one. The screens are not even, even. The time on the left hand side wasn't full visible with whatever screens they used. Phone was completely damaged and DID NOT turn back on. I had to purchase a whole new phone. Okay short version this guy is a worker! I showed up at 6:30, he quoted me $150 and done by 8:30. Very pleased with the work. And he's in a great big mall, plenty to do for two hours without a phone. Long Version, apparently when the back of your iphone 13 starts to go, its better to get it fixed sooner rather than later. There is just a ton of adhesive to hold the back glass on and the more spider-webby the back glass gets the less effective the laser they use to melt the adhesive is. That means way more manual labor for the technician to get all the glass off. I'm a bit of a diy'er and would have done it myself but I watched some yt videos and its super labor intensive and finicky without the right tools. I knew I would screw something up, this guys done it hundreds of times. He knows all the little tricks. $150 quote, no problem. The first time estimate was 90 minutes but it took more like two hours due to the aforementioned spider-webbing. Felt a little bad about that. But its perfect now, and I tested everything, wireless charging, all three cameras and autofocus, and flash all good! 5 starts would totally go back. read more

had to replace shattered back glass and battery for my iPhone 12 (non-Pro). reached out to him via Yelp and scheduled to get this done in a 2-hour window. dropped off my phone and came back 2 hours later, and my phone was (pretty much) ready. only downside is that the battery isn't recognized as a genuine Apple part, so it'll always give me a warning about that in Settings. but for the price and the age of my iPhone, i'm good with that. If you're in the Irvine Spectrum area and need smartphone repairs, hit them up. BTW this is the kiosk closest to Old Navy across the way from Chocolate Rush. read more

I had 2 experiences dealing with this repair shop and I have to write a negative reviews to warn people from using them. The issue seems to be that their techs are not qualified to make iPhone repairs and can cause more harm in the process which in my case ended up in breaking my iphone pro 12 max camera. The owner is Ali and I've spoken to him over Yelp. He's very responsive but he doesn't do the repairs himself. He provides pricing and handles customer service issues. I needed to replace the back screen of my iPhone 12 Pro Max and went to this shop after seeing the positive Yelp reviews. Ali provided pricing and I went to the shop and dealt with the tech. Once I got home, I noticed my camera didn't focus anymore. I messaged Ali and he said this never happens but he'll fix it and told me to come back. I went back and his tech opened the phone, cleaned the camera glass as he saw some dirt in there from the inside and it was fixed. I was annoyed that I had to go back but thought maybe it was just a fluke. My back screen broke again a few months later. I'm not sure how as I didn't drop it - maybe it was the poor quality replacement but hard to know for sure. Anyhow, I decided to give this shop another chance. After they did the screen replacement, I noticed my photos on 1x lens were very hazy. I looked at the lens and it was visibly dirty. It was on the inside as I couldn't clean it. It looked as if someone's finger touched it. I told Ali and he said to just go back to the shop and the tech will take care of it. The tech told me he'd need to replace the camera glass. I told him I think it's just dirty and it needs to be opened and cleaned on the inside. He said oh no I can't open it just to clean it, it takes too long. I told him that's what the previous tech did and he told me his boss is in Turkey right now so he'd have to ask him but he's sleeping. And told me he'll just do the camera glass to fix it. Then he proceeded to break the glass with a knife not very delicately by stabbing at it. When he gave it back, I could see a scratch on the camera inside. I tried to use the camera and it couldn't focus. I showed it to the tech and he told me oh that's normal and argued that he didn't touch the camera (after I saw him stabbing it). He then told me that the next step is to replace the camera lens and he'd need to take my number for his boss who is in Turkey to order it. I was upset but figured the tech wasn't going to help me so I left and told Ali over Yelp what happened. He told me this never happens (seems like he always says that when there's an issue) and that this was one of his good techs who knew what he was doing. Ali did offer to fix it with the tech that did my first repair. However, by that time, I had told a knowledgeable friend the story and he explained how the tech should have just opened the photo and cleaned the glass on the inside. Breaking the glass is very risky and can damage the lens but is much easier/faster. I decided at that point I wouldn't trust Ali's techs since he had just told me the tech that broke my phone carelessly was good. The other tech he offered to fix my phone did not get the fix right after all. I went to a different recommended company and their owner did fix it correctly in one shot with a cost of $199. During the repair, I saw the inside lens that Ali's tech clearly scratched. It was very unfortunate because now I don't have a genuine lens anymore in my phone. I told Ali that I decided to fix the lens elsewhere because I didn't trust his techs after my experiences and findings. I explained that I was concerned because his tech clearly damaged my lens, argued with me and lied. I told him that even if his other tech seemed better, I was concerned because he considered the reckless tech to be good and the first tech did require me to go back and have the fix redone. I asked Ali to reimburse me the cost of repairs that I had to pay due to his tech breaking my phone. Ali got upset at me for going somewhere else. He didn't understand why I wouldn't trust his techs despite my bad experiences. He tried to make me feel bad by saying he's working on coordinating fixing my phone from 7000 miles away (while I understand people need their vacation, if his workers can't take care of issues on their own when he's on vacation, how is that my issue). He then told me that if I leave a bad review, I'm taking advantage of small business while I gave him the opportunity of another chance after my first repair a few months ago had an issue too. He didn't offer to reimburse anything. The reason I write this review is I want to make sure other people are aware of this so they don't get their phones broken by Ali's techs. The way he reacted when I told him I decided to fix the phone elsewhere due to all the issues encountered was frankly shocking. He seems to be expecting clients to just go back whenever something is wrong and that it's normal that phones get broken during a fix. read more

I never cracked my screen before so I turned to Yelp and sought guidance from my fellow Yelpers. I was able to message a dozen repair stores for quotes with a few clicks. Pretty neat feature! I talked to several people but Umur provided the best price for an aftermarket screen. He also carried oem Apple screens. He quoted me $89 for the aftermarket XS screen and $195 for the oem Apple screen. I went with the aftermarket since I was planning to sell this phone when the new iPhone get release. He also offered mobile service which means, he will send someone to your location for an additional $15. I opted for the mobile service since it would take me 1 hour round trip and my lunch is only an hour. The aftermarket screen did not work out for me. It was overly sensitive in certain spots and non responsive in others. Every time I got a notification, my phone would spazz out. I messaged Umur and he personally came out to replace it with an oem Apple screen for an additional $60. Now, my phone works perfectly! I am giving Umur a 5 stars because you can't control the products you get but you can control the customer service you give. He took actions to making things right with me.
