I was trying to figure out where to go. The waiting area for your drink greets you first, with markers on the floor to physically distance yourself from others. A nice woman asked if I wanted to order something. Yes, I did. The ordering area is further down, past the first CoCo logo on the wall on the right. I ordered two drinks: - Large roasted milk tea (March special going for $3.99) - Large strawberry black tea with coconut jelly (my usual) I got both with no sugar and less ice. I paid using a debit card. It was easy to tap. I was done and was handed a receipt that I had order #83. There were a couple of orders ahead of me. I needed to use the washroom. There are two and they are single stalls that are wheelchair-accessible. Mine was clean and spacious. I like the slate blue look with silver and marble accents everywhere. It's different than what you'd expect at a typical CoCo. I waited perhaps a minute more and my drinks were ready. I thanked the nice man behind the plexiglass, went to take a photo of my drinks, and headed out the door. I have consumed my strawberry black tea. It's not shocking! It hit the spot. It is my favourite drink at CoCo, with tiny chunks of strawberry in the best black tea formulation. The coconut jelly is cheerful and add a subtle sweetness that I enjoyed. I have missed it so much! I tend to visit Comebuy and Chatime in downtown Markham so much that I have abandoned dropping by CoCo for months. I need to add it to my bubble tea rotation. I will try my roasted milk tea in a bit. She told me that the croissants are baked fresh every morning and that she has a cheese one every shift, so of course I went with that. I noticed this Booster Juice close by, in the same plaza. I had a brief debate. I just got bubble tea. Should I get my favourite drink of all time at Booster Juice? Yes! I walked over to this store with my takeout in tow. I could hear someone walking behind me. I veered off the path and took a photo of this store's front entrance. A woman carrying a few bags with groceries from Longo's was behind me. I could see from the expression on her face that she was relying on me to open the door to Booster Juice. I deviated from her plan. She was in front of me. She asked me if I could hold the door open. I did and mentioned that she had a lot going on. I opened the door. She did not say thanks. It's my pet peeve. I didn't have to open the door. I wanted to help you because your hands were full of bags of groceries. You could have been a decent human being by saying thanks. You didn't. It was telling of her personality. I knew that she was more of the it's-all-about-me type. She put her groceries down by a table and immediately headed to the ordering area. If I were in her shoes, I'd handle it differently. I'd say thanks going through the door. I'd put my bags down. I'd actually let the person who opened the door for me order, as a kind gesture for helping out. Nope, I knew she wouldn't do anything like that. It's my favourite drink at Booster Juice. It used to be an original, permanent item on the menu. It's now a seasonal offering. When I see this drink on the menu, I get it as much as I can before I have to wait another year for it. It's like a Creamsicle, but in a frozen yogurt smoothie format. I had my berry points QR code scanned. I then paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I waited patiently for my drink. I took photos to kill some time, including a photo of my order from Wild Wing. The woman came out of the washroom. Her drink was ready. I saw her grab it and head to her bags of glory. My drink was ready. I thanked the woman and wished her a great day, went to grab a straw, inserted it in my drink, took a photo and a sip of my drink, and then walked out. If this woman were more polished, I would have wished her a good day. Good deeds go unpunished. My orangesicle was awesome. It had the best vanilla frozen yogurt mixed in with orange juice. The best! I don't get why this drink was ever removed from the menu. It's so good. Why ruin a good thing? I'm so glad that it's back for a limited time. Watch me get it multiple times before it disappears.
