My daughter and I were the only customers in the store and I have honestly never experienced such a lack of customer service. The employee was on speaker phone with his boss the entire time we were there, discussing next week's schedule and even who had a funeral to attend. For at least five minutes we walked around the store waiting for acknowledgment. Not once did he greet us or tell his boss he had customers. He just kept talking and eventually walked out. On top of that, the store was extremely dirty. There was debris and black marks all over the tile floors, gum on the carpet, and visible grime around the fixtures and seating areas. It felt neglected and unclean. When customers are the only ones in the store, being ignored and walking around in a dirty environment is unacceptable. Basic customer service and regular cleaning would make a huge difference. read more

I've been coming year for yrs, it's gone downhill in the past few years! The racks are unorganized, the carpet smells, has stains, the floors are dirty, there's trash on the floors. It used to be bright and clean! The customer service team are lazy, on the edge of being rude. Most team members (male) need to clean their nails & shower and talk to their customers in a respectful manner. read more

This place is a joke. Been here at least 3 times. The last time I brought my teenage son in was to exchange for a bigger size shoes that I had bought the day before. As we were walking into the store, I had the famous footwear bag in my hand, we were greeted immediately, which was nice, however, when we were standing right there in front of him at the first section of the shoe rack looking at other shoes, he asks me if I wanted him to hold my bag for me. I already knew, it wasn't to be nice, he probably was thinking I'm one of those people that would steal or whatever. Anyways, I was fine with it and said ok. I gave him my bag and continued on looking at shoes. When we couldn't find my sons shoe size, I decided we'll look at another location. I went back to the front where he's been the whole time and asked for my bag. He gives me my sons shoe box. Excuse me, but where the F*** is my bag??? How dare you go into my bag and take out the shoe box!!!! Wtf if I had other sh*t in there?!?!!?? You went through my f**king bag?!!!? Don't trust these people. Found out few months ago, they had 3 men or whatever, stole loads of shoes there. Karma. read more

My husband went into this this location today because we needed "Converse" shoes. We were greeted when we came in and asked if we needed help but we saw what we were looking for right away and proceeded to that area. When I asked the girl for help to get a particular size, I was told what they had on the shelf was all they had. My husband asked if they had larger sizes for the shoe he was looking and again we were told, what they had was on the shelf. I thought it was strange that the only shoes they had were on the floor and they didn't have any in the stock room like shoe stores normally do. I went ahead and went to the register to pay for the shoes I had found myself. My husband gets my attention and waves me over to where he had found a whole other section of men's Converse. For the life of me, I don't know why we were not told they were there. When my husband asked if they had larger sizes, he was told that was all they had. At no time did the girl say, we have some others over here...maybe you can find something here. Not only did we find the other section by ourselves? We found the shoes ourselves too. Where was the customer service? Anyone can say hello when you walk in the door but if you can't offer any assistance....maybe you shouldn't be working there! So frustrating....customer service is so important. I believe if you get excellent customer service, you will have repeat customers. If your customer service is lacking...you may not ever get that second chance. I think maybe this store needs to train their employees a little better. read more

I've been coming here for years to buy me and my 2 boys shoes. Very good quality and when you get a sale it's even better. Customer Service is great! Have never had any issues. I would give 5 stars but here's the story lol. My husband had gone to another store to get leather shoes/boots. He works in an environment where he needs good thick leather boots/shoes. Well there are several brands he liked here. And they had 6 brands here and tons of shoes. Well 6 months go by so we come in yesterday 1/12 and they have 2 brands and very few to chose from! I'm like wtf. None for him of course. Was very disappointed. I'll keep coming back for me and my boys. I'm getting his shoes at Sears now. read more

True, they were going to close at 9pm. we stroll in at 8:52 with just the intention of looking really quick and the girl at the register informs us to keep in mind they are closing in a few minutes. At 8:56 they turn half the lights off. OK, we got the picture and headed to door that was already locked. I'm not that douche that walks in a retail business and wastes 30 minutes after closing because I work in retail myself so I know what it feels like. I used to look down on these stores for having sub par shoes. Famous foot wear have name brand shoes and no name brands, so you can choose. The staff was friendly and helpful, and on check out we got a $5 cash coupon for the next trip, and it has no spending limit, so it's good on any purchase. read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. The girl wearing a pink shirt had no clue where sizes are throughout the store. I asked if they had a certain size shoe, she replied, "what's out is all we have." "Okay so do you have this size?" She said, "what we have on shelves is what we have." She turned around irritated and walked away. Clearly not understanding I NEEDED CUSTOMER SERVICE. The people working at this store seem irritated when asked a simple question. When I checked out, the girl was confusing herself. Maybe proper trainings with these employees would help the store. Today 8/18/2019 we went in looking for Birkenstocks for my fiancé. I was about 1 pm. This was the worse experience we have ever had. No one offered to help us the entire half an hour that we were in the store. they didn't even speak to us when we walked in and they were not busy. several girls were on the floor , one actually put some boxes on the bench next to my fiancé while he was trying to find the right size shoe. The folks there were nice, but they have an AWFUL return policy...I was told to call a number to do a return (that I bought in store) and was treated horribly, the man was RUDE and when i tried to resolve it with Famous Footwear they just said, "the returns aren't managed by us" what?!?!?! DO NOT SHOP HERE, if you are someone that SOMETIMES needs to return something. Read the receipt, it says they can "deny returns even if you have your store receipt and it is in the return window (I had my receipt and it was only 3 days later, shoes had never been worn).
