My mom stopped and grabbed a "Red Barn" pie on the way to a week-long family vacay to our family ranch in West Point. The pie was the talk of the week vacation and we HAD to go back for more...We called ahead a few days ahead to make sure we were able to get 4 picked up on our drive back to the bay....Not 1 but 4 Red Barn pies later to share with friends. Their peach pie is to die for!! We passed here on our way home from Tahoe and flipped around when we saw the sign saying pies and fudge and I'm so glad we did! I saw all the whole pies and the only slices were lemon meringue and when I asked the lady if there were any other slices she told me that she had planned to slice up another pie and just hadn't gotten around to it so she let me pick which pie to slice up. I chose a peach pie that had just come out of the oven and omg it was heaven!! My kids each got a peach turnover and devoured them. Next time I'll be getting a whole pie for sure!! The store is misleading from the outside because when you walk in there is so much to see and eat. Nice 1/2 wine barrels planted with flowers outside, picnic tables, produce on display....looks good. Inside? Local, organic coffee for purchase in bean form or drinks made up to order. Bakery items! Made on the premises and beautifully enticing. A variety of fresh pies, danish, cookies, brownies, etc. Oh! The produce? Wow. Never saw such large (green variety) figs...tomatoes, squash, fruit, veggies, local jams and olive oils, Italian vinegar, nick nacks and cold drinks. No sandwiches, but they will make you a large beef hotdog for just $2.50. This location is sure to be busy during their season (April to August), so be sure and stop in! read more

We've passed by this place many times and wanted to stop by and check it out and finally did. It has a wide variety of things salsas, jams, dried fruits, nuts, flavored corn nuts, etc.... They also sell homemade fudge in many different flavors....you can buy a single piece or buy 1/2 pound or 1 pound package. Fresh baked breads and an assortment of pies as well. We didn't try any of the pies but they all looked delicious. The only drawback was...upon entering, we were not greeted by either of the two ladies working there. There was a younger girl and an older woman. No one said hello, or asked us if we need help or if we had any questions. I believe this is a family owned business. If this were my family's business? I would make sure I greeted every person that walked through the door, 1st impressions are everything. A nice fruit stand - barn actually, that sells homemade pies, homemade fudge, homemade ravioli's and sauce, plus has an array of fresh produce and nuts. They also have a barista counter, so they sell gourmet coffee drinks. I also recall that they might also do a few homemade food items, like salads, etc. Picked up a cherry pie, which was delish! One of the best, flakiest crusts I've had from a pie in a long time. The filling was neither too sweet nor too sour. Just an overall great pie! Also got some ravioli's and sauce, but haven't tried them yet. These seemed a little pricey, about $5 for a sandwich bag of raviolies and about 6 oz of sauce for another $5. My husband mentioned while we were driving by one day that we should stop in, since we live right down the road. He loves pies, so I decided to go get one for dessert one night. I stopped in and grabbed one of their STILL WARM pies! Yummmm it was an apple, with a crumble top, with a little bit of "frosting" drizzled on top. Let me tell you. I am somewhat picky when it comes to apple pies. Usually I have an issue with maybe the crust being not sweet enough, or too sweet. The apples being undercooked, or canned. Or the top being too doughy or too much on it. You can't go wrong with the crumble topping, and the apples were cooked to perfection!!! Saw Biglieri Farms and thought I'll stop later after the Rancheria seafood buffet. Anyways, this place has assorted homemade pies. I got the cherry. I'm glad I did. The cherry pie was the best pie I've ever eaten. It is not overly infused with sugar, so the cherry filling have just the right amount of sweetness. The pie crust is just awesome.
