Honestly, I'm not really a thrift store shopper. I do however, love this place! Crossroads is a little different from your usual thrift store. They carry a lot of designer brands. They sell a lot of items that are trendy and that are in style. This particular Crossroads is their outlet store....which I love love love! I've purchased a D&G belt for $18 and just recently an HCL handbag for $20! If you know HCL handbags then you know they aren't cheap. So this was a golden steal. Let's just say I was excited LOL. They are picky with what they sell and the items are in great condition for the most part. I love how they post a lot of their items on IG. You get a sneak peak of what they have ready on the floor available to be purchased. It's a good way to entice their customers lol. This store is pretty clean. They have really good customer service. The location is in a fairly good area. Parking is no problem since it's in a shopping center. If you are looking for a trendy thrift store, then this is the store for you to check out. read more

Today there was two young ladies who were closing up, I never leave reviews but I had to because this was one of the worst experiences. I walked in, and there was no greeting. Both were on their phones, and I don't mean like a quick check I mean like full on scrolling. I walked up to the cash register to purchase my one item and they were both standing at a register And no one is saying anything not a "I can help you here" or a greeting, nothing. I'm literally just standing there, unsure.. until finally, one of them asked me if I want a bag. Now I don't expect 10/10 service but the vibe in there was very unwelcoming. Crossroads Trading - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Stockton, California

I finally made it back to the store after my previous negative experience, and was surprised to see how much the prices have increased! I understand the pricing for higher-end brands. But I was seeing prices for bread and butter brands such as Gap, Loft, Old Navy, American Eagle for $12+. It would be nice to see more consistent pricing throughout the store, but I appreciate that it's organized by size and type of clothing. I'm now going to start hunting at other thrift stores before coming here, but if you're looking for a more curated collection with designer and prestige brands, this is probably the place for you. read more

This review is long overdue. I've been coming to this place for over 6 years and the prices never disappoint. Even during the years, the prices go up but never to the point that it is ridiculous. This place is priced so affordable and the manager Angela and Linda are always so kind and welcoming to all customers. They have so much of a selection and it is organized so well unlike most if not all thrift stores. The place is clean. Ownership should be aware of how much this store is appreciated. I'll continue to drive the Distance to this store than go anywhere else for clothes and shoes. read more

Very sweet, helpful staff! Most items are $5/$7/$9 with the exception of some shoes at $18-$20. Still a great deal-I purchased some purple New Balance sneakers ($20) and a Harley Davidson tank ($7) A lot more cute items designer/vintage/name brand but limited sizing so it was hit or miss! The girl that checked us out was extremely nice and fitting room staff is attentive and accommodating. They get new items daily that's come to this location from crossroads stores all over so definitely check it out if you're in the area! read more

I was looking at some items that were behind the counter on a shelf. I didn't go behind the counter but I leaned in to get a closer look. I was NOT within reach of the items. All of a sudden a male worker came up behind me and loudly said, "Um ma'am you are not supposed to be behind there!" Mind you I was NOT behind the counter only leaned in. This employee continued to say I was not supposed to be behind the counter and each time he said it loud enough for the entire store to hear. Everyone was looking to see what the ruckus was. I was so embarrassed. There are many professional ways he could have approached me. I do not believe I will ever patronize this store again, at least while he is still there. read more

Staffing shortages are real! This isn't a review as much as a warning and suggestion to call ahead to be sure they're open, especially since many of us are coming from out of the area. I wish I had before I headed there yesterday and found them closed with a sign on the door that they were short staffed and would be closed for the day. I'm in the area so rarely and was super bummed that I'd gone out of my way. I also realize that many businesses are having this issue and took it as a lesson to not make assumptions that places will be open these days! read more

I came to this location to do a trade-in. I didn't find out until I walked into the store, but they don't do buyback to trade-in. I was told when I walked in, that they are an outlet for other crossroad trading companies. I was directed to Sacramento, after driving an hour from home, to do a buyback. Don't bother coming here unless you want to buy what they have that other crossroad trading company dumped on them. read more

Came here for the 2-3 time already because another cross roads store suggested it. I came here to see what they had, and the store is neat so thats good. I don't go to any thrift store except crossroads because at least cross roads has decent brands & all crossroads besides this one have consignment. Now the reason for 2 stars -what kind of annoyed me is how employees working here put items on hold for themselves...how is that fair to people that come here? If your holding good items for yourself? Other crossroads stores would never allow employees to hold items for themselves while working & they arent shy about it either there were many customers in the store & other employees present didn't seem to care. -I came because it was an outlet store i guess what didn't make the cut or didn't sell at other stores made it here so well picked over not as great as the other stores but decent prices -some items are really really worn.why put them for sale? - last but not least is ATTITUDE some employees are nice but 2 of the girls seem a bit snobby. What do i mean? You ask a question and they cant answer it properly they "never know" or everything you want to look at is on hold. Example: any new jeans coming out today? "Um maybe idk probably if we have time if not idk" Honestly this store could improve a lot.. my suggestion is more professionalism is needed by the employees i don't even know if this store has a manager if so they need improvement. read more

I used to like coming here but the range of their sizes is subpar. Their largest size is a 12/14 for bottoms and XL for top and you're lucky if you find 5 items , MAX in those sizes. They take hardly any donations. And the prices, have sky rocketed. Not worth coming to. read more

Hands-down the best crossroads experience I've ever had! I was visiting my parents in Modesto and decided to head up to this store cause it was the closest crossroads to them. Well worth the drive!! For a couple of reasons: 1. The staff was amazing...so helpful, kind, friendly, and fun! I tried on A LOT of stuff and they never once made me feel bad about it or like I was an inconvenience. Special shout out to Abigail for helping me try on all my fits...I think I put on close to 70 items and she always switched out my stuff with a smile and even suggested other pieces she saw that would work with the stuff I was trying on. Raymond helped me check out and was so nice and fun to chat with...you can tell he really loves his job and takes pride in what he does. Karen was super helpful, even on her break, she helped me see a couple of pairs of earrings, so sweet!! I can tell the team is supportive of one another and that energy really makes the whole shopping experience awesome. 2. It's an OUTLET crossroads, whaaa?! So everything was either $5, $7 or $9. Unbelievable! They get shipments from crossroads all over California so the selection is legit and you can always expect to have new stuff to explore when you go in. 3. The selection was vast...from dresses to interesting jackets to unique tops I feel like I hit the jackpot. Basically a whole new wardrobe. They have jewelry, sunglasses and a ton of purses too. 4. They had 5 dressing rooms and I never had to wait for one....SCORE. I highly recommend checking this store out and especially saying hi to the amazing team. Crossroads has become my Friday routine. After a tough week at school, I thoroughly enjoy my 12pm visits at Crossroads. Once a week sounds quite frequent, however they put new things on their racks daily. My first stop is usually the jeans. I've found at least 2 jeans which I could call my favorites (and for under $11 each)! I'm quite picky with my jeans, but their selection is always so vast. I usually make my way to the dressing room with a few pairs to try on. My new favorite section is the Jackets section. Though a little small, I'm expecting the rack to grow more and more full as the season progresses. I also love the jewelry section. I found my favorite bunny ring here! I enjoy looking at their eccentric necklaces and intricate rings. Crossroads is the new, "I'm depressed, I need some ice cream." And it's pretty awesome because one item at Crossroads is probably equivalent to a $4 sundae (and no calories)! Basically, Crossroads is cleaner than most thrift stores, more organized that most thrift stores, and requires less "filtering" than most thrift stores. It may be pricier than a "true" thrift store (where the prices are dirt cheap), but you definitely find much more treasures here with a great deal of convenience. Yes, sometimes you'll come out of here with nothing, but other times, you come out of here with more than you know what to do with. By the way, NEVER take the bag! They give you a token to donate 5 cents to one of 5 charities. read more

I discovered this place through a friend, and I have been coming back, ever since. The associates that are usually sorting through new arrivals, behind the front counter are always friendly, and helpful. One time I saw a pair of beautiful slacks hanging behind the counter, on hold for another customer. I knew they were the perfect size and color I wanted, so I asked the sales associate if the customer did not pick them up by closing, could they call me. At 7:00 01 they called and I purchased them over the phone! I picked them up the next day. I thought this was above and beyond what was required of anyone in that store, and I was very happy with the outcome. Lots of parking available- Greeted right away.. a lot of their clothes were dirty and not in great condition. I understand its a used clothing store but the selections weren't that great. Clothes were in size order and that to me is very appreciated. Prices were a little high for the condition the clothes were in. I'd go back to give it another try but as a first timer, I'm not going to be in a rush to go back soon. It's a nice place to discover but I just didn't find anything that floated my boat. read more

I used to think that this branch wasn't very good b/c they didn't BUY back clothes...but now i realize its so much better that way. If they bought back clothes from around here, the racks would overflow with clothes from around here...ehhhhhhhhh, you can take that however you want. I found proof of this when I went to the Sacramento xroads which was actually bigger and does buy clothes, however, I saw a lot of typical mall brands that I didn't really dig. Not saying it's bad but for the sheer volume of stuff, there was really very few things that were cool to me. I'm not sure where the Stockton xroads gets their stock from but I usually seem to get something I like here despite the smaller store. read more

I consider this thritf store to deserve a 3.5 stars here's why; PROS: 1. Well organized, clothes is usually organize by color and category which makes it super easy to find what you are looking for 2. Employess are usually friendly and are willing to help you out if you have any questions 3. The clothes you will find here are usually name brands and mostly used items 4. Sometimes they have sales going on so make sure to like their facebook page to get some good deals your way :) 5. You can sell or trade your clothes at certain crossroad trading stores CONS: 1. Clothing items and shoes are sometimes over price for their quality 2. Some clothes are more worn than others so make sure you inspect the item you want really good before you buy it 3. I've been an avid Crossroads fan and shopper for years. I frequent their San Jose stores regularly and have been to locations all over California. When I heard about this location, which is basically an outlet store, through their Instagram account I had to go. My girlfriend drove took the hour drive out here yesterday and we did not leave disappointed. This location does not buy clothes from you, but gets their stock from all the other Crossroads locations across the country. If something doesn't sell in the regular store, it ends up here at ridiculously low prices. Both my girlfriend and I walked out with a ton of goodies. I snagged: Doc Martins $16 ASOS Dress $9 Paper Cranes Poncho $5.50 Off Shoulder Top $8 Celtics SnapBack $3.50 Perry Ellis Pants (for the BF) $9 Dolce Vita Sandals $11 Among other steals. They do have some stuff that's a little more run down and used so you have to sift through the racks to find the good stuff, but it's definitely there. One thing I have to mention: the girls that work here are by far the nicest employees I've ever encountered at any Crossroads location. My girlfriend and I plan on making the trip out here more frequently to jumpstart our wardrobes! read more

Crossroads Stockton is one of my go-to shopping places. I drop by here all the time for a nice quick study break, or if I'm up to it, a longer browse through all the racks. Usually, I check out the heels and the dresses (sweet loves of my life and wardrobe!). Then if I feel like it, I'll glance at the "Half-Off" rack for any amazing deals. The last visit, I scored a fancy boutique dress for a banquet and a lovely Theory cranberry pencil skirt. Sometimes things don't fit just right, but I'm willing to get it altered since I'm getting it for such a great price! I'll often find myself wearing the same clothes over and over, and some of those staples are from Crossroads! From Charles David wedges to designer skirts, what a steal! Until I move outta Stockton, I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

Crossroads in Stockton is awesome! It is the outlet, meaning they get in new shipment EVERYDAY from all of the other Crossroads stores (all SF, San Jose, Chicago, LA and Seattle!!) It's extremely organized and clean. The prices are half off what they were in the Crossroads stores they originally came from so you know you can get great stuff for next to nothing. And then they have the 'half price' stamp on a ton of other great stuff! I just go t a great pair of Marc Jacobs cords for $8 and they look brand new! It is definitely a place that you have to have a lot of time to look. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! FYI-bring your own bag in and they will donate money to a cause of your choice! read more

I want a black dress shirt. I want some black slacks. maybe i'll find it, maybe i won't. but it'll be less than 5 bucks that i'll get it for. Wait a minute; this shirt has a '50% off' stamp on its tag! So have a nice day. It's smaller than the nearest second-hand shop, but got more current styles...which eventually will recycle itself anyway in another 5-10 years (like every fashion feat). If you wanna be the idiot shopper who likes to shop googly-eyed stupid, then just pick out any fugly looking something that costs $20 and say you can buy the same doofus crotch-eating pants at the local Dilliards...we'll let you. Great finds. Growing up in the Bay Area where dumpster diving in upscale neighborhoods is normal, this place is the rich girls thrift store. You don't have to dig through display bins for hours and hours. Everything is already grouped and organized. Even ensembles are pulled together for you. Although I'm more of a DIY-cut it up-sew it-personalize it and make it yours kind of person, the choice of clothing here isn't bad. read more

Best Crossroads - Seriously. Why is it I travel far and further to rummage through different Crossroad racks, yet find what I need in my hometowns store? No idea...but this CRTC is the best one and has the best clothing! I find everything here from day wear to night apparel. I've bought shoes, bags, scarves & clothing! The associates are really nice and helpful. Mid week has better pickin's than the weekend, and is much less crowded. Come here when you want a great bargain. Also I find soooo many NWT's here and sample pieces that are either flawless or near it. It's worth it to stop in and shop, or at least browse around.... read more

They don't have a very wide selection (in comparison to other CTCs I've been to) AND they don't buy clothing, so what's the point?? If I'm in the mood to buy a cute shirt or blouse, I come here. It's a lot cheaper than Ross, but not as many options. For women, there's a good variety of pants, shirts, shoes, and even nice dresses (but most of these would be for prom or something more fancier than the usual banquet or two). There's also men's clothing and shoes, so it's a good deal for both genders. I love the fact that the clothes are organized by color instead of size. I know it's probably more difficult this way, but most of the time, I'm looking for a specific color, so it's a great way to find things. Sometimes the store will have even bigger savings (red tags, green tags, orange tags) but there is no guarantee that it'll be there -- it might be seasonal. In addition, not all of the clothes are pre-worn, some of them are just "rejects" from larger companies, such as Guess or American Apparel. The only disadvantage to Crossroads is that all of the sales are final, since the pricing of these are way below any department store prices and they are hand-me-downs. However, I think you can return your item for credit, just not for money back. read more

A little less loved nowadays, but still a good place to browse. The reason for the minus 1 star? It used to be that when I walked into this store, I could look up on the walls and immediately find "ooh-la-la" items that I would love to own. We're talking usually "the good stuff", like Marc Jacobs, Rock and Republic, Theory, Betsey, etc, in a variety of sizes and styles so that you'd always be excited. On more than one occasion I would see shoppers come in on a lunch break and browse only the items hanging off the ceiling racks, before turning to leave. "The best stuff is always on the wall," was a comment that I remember being made. They changed managers and the display selection just isn't as good. There's a lot more up there now, making it very cluttered. I'm a size 0/XS, and there's hardly ever anything up there that would fit me. The clothes are usually also only so-so. It's not a huge flaw or anything, but it is one thing that I've noticed has gone down lately so I decided to update and point it out. I still frequent this store a lot, and I'm not about to change that. read more

The staff here is super friendly, much better than Crossroads in the Bay Area. If you have the patience to dig, you can find new contemporary pieces of clothing like 95% off retail price and gently used (or even new!) designer denim. Can a be a little hit or miss but I usually walk out of this store with something. I used to like shopping here but lately, not so much. I rarely can find anything worth purchasing. I would rather drive to Sacramento because at least they have more of a variety AND they actually buy/trade clothes. The Crossroads in Stockton definitely does not live up to its name. I look at it as false advertising. The name of the store says, Crossroads "Trading Co", yet that's not even an option anymore. This place needs to step their game up! Compare this Crossroads to one in Sacramento or Berkeley/ SF: Stockton's: The prices are lower. The selection is smaller.The quality is slightly lower. But I think all those work in its favor. You can look through the ENTIRE store here in Stockton and not have to feel like you may have missed something. This search is necessary because it'll take a little longer to find something that you want. But the prices are unbeatable. They're almost thrift store prices, and the half-off ones definitely are. Note: you can't SELL your clothes here. Sell in Sac, buy in Stockton. read more

I'm a LA native.. so coming to Stockton for school was one of the most difficult things I'd ever done. Crossroads made my life bearable and satisfied my shopaholic needs. It's also perfect for college girls since we are always having to dress up for some themed party. I prefer the Goodwill when second-hand shopping, but I thought I'd give the Crossroads thing a try. I was pretty much amazed when I got there. They had a lot of really nice stuff and even though I'm not a big fan of name brands, they definitely had a bunch...especially in really great condition! I used to work at an Urban Outfitters and got really excited when I saw a bunch of clothes from UO when I was browsing through the racks..and even crazier that they're in Stockton! CRAZY! haha I ended up buying an American Apparel cardigan after I was in the store for about an hour, due to my indecisiveness. I'm sure the workers were annoyed that I was there FOREVER, but they were extremely helpful nonetheless! Also, something that I thought was a kicker...when I checked out, I decided not to put my purchases in a bag, and so they donated the price of the plastic bag to one of 3 charities of my choice. Very cool. Only downside, I was kinda bummed that they didn't buy clothes at this location. read more
